This game would be a buy except for one thing: the stupid phrase it says every single time you click on an action. Every. Single. Time. Often the same one (out of like 3 phrases) will repeat 4-5 times in a row in rapid succession. It is so annoying it ruins the game for me. Am I seriously the only one who can't stand this feature on their games? Such good games to be ruined by one easy change.
I actually really like this series...except for the stupid arrows that point out what you need when you click on things to plan moves ahead. Yes, I know I need more food before they can do that task. I don't need that big stupid arrow appearing incessantly over a food bush to let me know. I'm just lining up tasks to complete once I have all the requirements. If it wasn't for that feature these would be a must buy.
I don't understand the developers thinking on what they are doing with this series. It keeps getting worse and worse. I know this series isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I always bought them and really enjoyed them. First, they stopped having enough stars each level for the counter to turn to 4. It is now random how many stars there are. I really enjoy working on a level until I found every single star and reached 4 on the counter. Now with this game they still have random numbers of stars but also on many levels the items are so big it is ridiculous. I hope the developers read these reviews and get back to how the games used to be. I didn't even finish the 2nd section of the game and I was a big fan before.
I usually buy all the games in this series. One thing I personally enjoy is finding all the bonus stars. I try to find as many as I can before starting to make any matches or remove any items. Usually, when it hits level 4 in finding the stars you know you found them all. In this one they took that away and now there is a random number of stars on each level. You have no idea when you have found them all except if it is a screen you can totally clear. I know the stars aren't to everyone's liking, but it sets this series apart for me and without the search to get them all it is a fairly lackluster clutter game.
