Based on the hour trial. Murder and soul-snatching (again), and this time CDW is in danger from his ancestor, whom he resurrected (and now regrets it!) Voice overs pleasant enough, and graphics are crisp and clear. Has environmental sound effects, such as thunder, which can be turned off in the menu if desired. I have my music at mid level, and it plays very soft in the background, behind all the thunder. HO scenes so far are good, unlike others which are either too cluttered or have dark spots. Puzzles can be skipped, and skip button does not take forever to refill! I sometimes find the puzzles TOO challenging, but so far have been able to complete them. Hint button is also fairly quick to refill. Hint button also helpful to show next step. In the "Objectives" book, a hint is shown as to the next step, if you want it. I find this game has enough challenge to satisfy most, without having to be a certified genius to complete!
I am thoroughly enjoying the game so far, and look forward to seeing the story through. I thoroughly recommend this game.
Islanders are here again! Become part of a new adventure and help the shaman get his true appearance back! Follow them in a fascinating journey through time and make new friends!
I absolutely loved all the Island Tribe games, and thought they just got better with each one. This one certainly proves that point. The graphics are so much better. Game play is similar to all the others, and you have varied options of levels, including an untimed level, which is always a plus with me. Also loved that they have some of the little guys who aren't working relaxing and having fun. Variety of scenarios outside the island is a fun plus. I bought this one without trial, and I was not disappointed. Highly recommend this game.
Based on the 1st hour of play. I loved Farm Tribe 1, and was excited to try this one. Graphics great, and a better look for workers. I believe we even get to change their clothing later on. We are on a run down estate, so work area is larger. New buildings to build and repair, as well as Annie and her Fiancee's run down mansion. To assign a task, you just click on the appropriate button next to the worker's name, and they go to it. New type of pests to squish, although I felt sad, as the first ones are so cute! We have a market to sell our goods, and a new, and I think better, set-up in the storage menu. So far I'm having a ball discovering the new buildings, setups, menus etc. I don't think that any lovers of the first Farm Tribe will be disappointed in this on. In fact, I think, as with myself, they will be thrilled with the changes.
Based on the first few stages of Level 1. You start out by having to save the world from a catastrophe. The level starts with a jigsaw-like puzzle where you have to switch the rectangles to make the picture. Then you get into the match 3 where you can choose "switch" or "chain". Graphics are crisp and clear, and very picturesque. No timer, which is always a bonus for me. So far the stages are easy, but from experience I would bet that they would get more challenging as you go along. I used a game credit, but I would have purchased it anyway. I am going to really enjoy the rest of this game.
This would be a nice game, a pleasant break from the "Doom and Gloom" games that abound lately, except I found the hidden objects too small, and difficult to find. I have a large widescreen monitor, and it still was difficult for me, so I don't know how people with the smaller sized monitors would manage.
I, like some others, played 2 and 3 first, so was reluctant to get number one. Then I decided to use a game credit on it, and I was not disappointed. Whilst it is slightly different in some respects (perhaps simpler in some ways), this does not diminish the enjoyment of the game. Level of challenge to make it interesting, but not too difficult. I usually don't like timers, but I did not have a problem with this one. I also loved the storylines of the Heroes, particularly thrilled with the very last one! I recommend this game as much as the others.
Loved the first, and the second definitely does not disappoint. Great graphics, good storyline, music not too intrusive and a decent game length. I found HO scenes not to difficult to get through. I just sooo loved playing this game. I thoroughly recommend it.
It is a great pity that they never had an untimed version of this. It would have been a great game, but the timer is too quick to get past the advanced levels. It has a good storyline and good graphics, and I enjoyed making the undersea garden, but I was literally on one level for YEARS on and off before I realised that I would never finish the game, so gave it up. I am willing to persevere if it seems possible, but with this one, no go.
I don't recommend this game.

Dragon Empire
Earn resources to build a unique looking beautiful city. Fill it with people and improve your economic and military might!
I would have missed this lovely game if it hadn't been listed in my "Games you'll love" section --- thanks BF. I love the bright, colourful graffics, and the lovely chinese style buildings. Game goes smoothly, and like BlueStarFish, I like the fact that you can keep playing during a cascade. I usually don't like timed games, but the timer on this is a generous one, and some levels give an hourglass bonus to extend time. Well done. I thoroughly recommend this game.
I recommend this game!

The Enchanted Kingdom: Elisa's Adventure
To prove she's the rightful heir to the throne, Elisa must conquer a fearsome dragon and bring down a wicked witch!
This is a lovely game, where a peasant girl, Elisa, is thought to be heir to the throne. On her journey to find proof, she comes across different tasks to complete, one of which is building up a town. M3's alternate between chain and swap. Storyline is good, graphics are clear, bright and colourful, and music is pleasant. Not overly taxing for those who want a real challenge, but for those like me, who enjoy the occasional game to relax with, this is a fun, enjoyable game that I would thoroughly recommend.
