This one started out slow but like any good mystery built to a good ending. (Or did it?) I really enjoyed the storyiine as well as the graphics and music. The puzzles varied from too easy to kind of hard, just right for me. There might be some trouble viewing some of the scenes, especially the reddish tinted ones, for older eyes, but with patience it works. As a ripper fan I figured out the killer right off, but was still kept wondering by all the "red herrings" thrown at us - there are many theories out there. I heartily reccmmend this one!
Fun for all ages, this Hidden Object game is a delight to those of us who scrapbook as a hobby. The items are well-drawn, not to easy, or too hard, to find, and delightful to look at. This game offers more than one of the sought object so you have a real chance to find them, and has a magnifier option for those of us with older eyes. I find it fun to play, and also an inspiration for my paper scrapbooking.
Some might consider this a child's game, but I consider it more of a simple game for adults. The graphics are beautiful, the music pleasant, and the hidden objects fairly easy to find, although not all of them. :-) I only played the demo hour but am pleased enough to put this on my to buy list!
Third in a series of Dark Tales games, this is one of the best. Quite long for a standard edition, and very captivating in mood and storyline. Although this is a well known tale, as are most of Poe's stories, this one will captivate you with how it is told adding a new and refreshing angle. No longer are you a spectator, or mere reader, this time you are part of the story. Filled with intriguing puzzles, and beautiful hand-drawn scenery, this game will keep you playing!
