It should have been a tremendous achievement, but the tunnel through the Ridge of Leviathan became the site of a great disaster. What really happened that day?

I love the Surface series. I am truly glad they added another one to the series. They could add a couple more if they like. ;) Elephant hasn't disappointed me in any of their games. They are truly and awesome team. This is over a 5 star rating.
Story: Well, you all read the synopsis of the story put out by the mod who started the thread. First she loses her family, and then she meets this whacko scientist who wants to recreate that day. Why would she want to do that? To me it would seem paninful losing them the first time and then to recreate that day. Not unless there is a possible way to be reunited.
Graphics: Superb. This team has one of the best top notch artist teams. I love to just stop my game and look at the scenery. Kudos to them..
Music: Fits the game beautifully. Done just right. Not overbearing.
Mini games: Not too hard or easy, just right.
Hint System: Works both in and out of the hidden object scenes.
Map: Jump map. The best kind lol.
All in all this team bought us another awesome game! Kudos to the team!

I was seriously waiting for this game. I played the beta version and instantaneously fell in love with the game. Didn't even bother with the trial, bought straight away. The violin playing cricket at the beginning was totally adorable and so is the singing mushrooms. The game is bright and colorful, just gorgeous and I just love the humor in it. I love the two little fairies they are adorable as well. The game is definitely above 5 stars in my book.
Story: Don't have to say much as bfgFlounder couldn't of put it any better :)
Graphics: Gorgeous. I just stop the game as I usually do with this team and just look.
Music: Extremely well done. Fits the game beautifully.
Mini games: Not too hard or easy. Just right and very enjoyable.
H0S: Ran only into the use the items you find onto other items. I love those.
Hint system: Works very well outside the H0S as well.
Map: Fast travel. Also has the '!' so you know where your objectives are. I love that as well so that way you don't have to depend on the strategy guide as often.
All in all the bunny team did it again with one fantastic game. Kudos to the team!

From the makers of Nightmares of the Deep comes this gem. This game was awesome, absolutely awesome. I bought this game from the devs and I don't regret it in the least. I enjoyed this game from the beginning to the end.
Story: This investigator gets a call from her friend Helen who is a news reporter saying something weird is going on in the town of Serpent Creek and Helen needs her friend's help to get her out of dodge. As she arrives at the hotel, some alien looking dude hits her car and naturally wonders what that heck that was. Then the manager of the hotel is also acting strangely. After the investigator checks in she goes to her room and that same alien dude leaves her a note, "Don't drink the Mamba". The hotel manager comes into her room and asks what went on and gives the investigator a gate key and kicks her out of her room. She goes looking around and sees everyone is a zombie like state and the story continues...
Graphics: Awesome! This team does have a top notch art team.
Music: Beautifully done. I enjoyed the music. Fit the game just right and in fact I let the credits roll a little bit just to listen to it.
Mini Games: Not too hard or easy just right.
Hint System: Awesome. I didn't use it in the H0GS, but when I need it on the outside it was great. You don't need a walkthrough with this game.
Map: Jump map. This was very useful especially later on in the game.

All awesome game makers are entitled to an oops and Big Al is no exception. After them having blockbusters such as Sacra Terra Kiss of Death, House of a 1000 Doors Serpent's Flame, & Stray Souls Stolen Memories, they have this, Forest Legends: The Call of Love. The main character looks like a cross between Pippy Longstocking and Twiggy, & her voice drives me nuts. And I think I would of lost it if I read one more time, "I must save my beloved". The only plus side to the game was that she reads the journal not you. Sorry Big Al, but I won't be buying the CE or SE version of this game. To me I rate it a 3 star and that's being generous. This review was based on the beta version and the demo. The beta version story was slightly different than the demo, still not much better. The sale price still won't have me buying this game.
Story: As the story opens you see Evelyn and Aurleo staring lovingly into each others eyes. He then gives her a baby dragon, but then the love fest is disrupted by hunters who are after Aurleo because he is a Feliz (werecat). She takes Aurleo home to mend his wounds and dad comes in asked if she hurts and she disgraces her father by telling him she is in love with Aurleo. Honestly, I wouldn't fall in love with him because he does turn into an animal. Umm not natural and disgusting. o_O
Graphics: On the slide here. Big Al had much better graphics. These to me look kind of washed. And my monitor is only 2 months old.
Music: Yes it does fit the game. Always did like Big Al's music.
Mini games: Are so-so. I didn't find them all that interesting.
Hint: Recharged fairly quickly. When you need to use it because you are lost, the hint does take you where you need to be instead of hitting it over and over.
Map: Jump map. And if I remember correctly, it did tell you your tasks.

I have to say in my opinion that this is Elephant's best work and to me it surpassed Christmas Stories Nutcracker, and that was a very hard nut to beat! Especially when the game was full of cats and me being a cat lover. This one is downright scary and hard to keep seated because of being jumpy. The voice acting is surperbly done the visual effects were outstanding. The Aunt I just loved her, awesome lead character. And Chucky just stole the whole game :D
Story: Auntie was driving home from work when her niece Jackie calls her from school, (she goes to a private school) and tells her aunt that really weird things are happening, and the kids turned weird. Jackie's best friend Robin goes missing and we need to find him. And it's said don't look into the mirror after sunset because Bloody Mary is watching.
Graphics: Superb. Crisp and clear. Just outstanding.
Mini games: Not too hard or easy nicely done.
Music: Superbly done! The music fits the game beautifully and adds to the creepiness factor.
Hint System: Normally (I play in Expert mode), I don't use the hint for the H0GS, and on ocassion in case I use it for when I get lost like I did in the beta and it recharged rather quickly.
Map: Jump map and also it tells you where you are and has the exclamation point of what you need to do.
All in all this game is going to be the utmost joy to play. I am going to have a wonderful time playing this one. Big Kudos to the Elephant team for this one! This is a ten star game!

I enjoyed playing the beta version of this one. This to me is an over 10 game. Kudos to the team for a job well done.
Story: You are in your bed terminally ill with Lukemia and your twin sister is there with you. She is wishing that you weren't dying when a old hag of witch appears and wants to talk to your sister. Your sister goes to her and she tells your sister that she can cure your sister for your youth and soul. The sister agrees to it, and the old hag disappears with your sister. Well you get that burst of energy and off you go looking for your sister. Along the way you meet a drop dead gorgeous prince who wants to help until he gets into a bind himself. There is going to be one busy Missy.
Mini Games: I found them really fun. Not too challenging or easy just right.
Graphics: Absolutely gorgeous. Their art team did it again!
Hint system: Works in and out of H0GS.
Music: Fits the game perfectly. Really nice to listen to.
Map: Jump map. The best kind :)
All in all Kudos to the Bunny team as they did a wonderful job with this game. I truly look forward to the full version. Thanks Bunny!

This was a game I truly enjoyed doing the beta on, and I know that I am truly going to enjoy the full version. This is a 10/10 game no question. They did a superb job. Couldn't of been better. Kudos to this team. My review is to the team. The voice actors were superb in this game, and if this is the last one in the series, sorry to see it go. The characters in this game are wonderful. A true spooky (and I emphasize the word spooky) fairy tale.
Story: You (as the detective) was called on the case by a woman named Katherine who had her stepsister Cyrilia (I hope I spelled that right) turned into glass along with a few other ladies by the evil Godmother. She wants you to turn her stepsister and the other ladies back to normal. But in the meantime when you are talking to her, the evil Godmother snatches her and you're going to have to rescue that poor Missy as well. Along the way you meet a wonderful little character to help you.
Graphics: Simply gorgeous. Top notch art team here. Such detail in their artwork.
Music: Done perfectly. Stays calm during the game, and gets dramatic when it should. Fits the game wonderfully.
Hidden Object Scenes: FROGS. All the pieces you find becomes one item you need for the game.
Mini Games: Truly original and made for the game. Not too hard or easy, just right. The first one I played was really cute.
Map: In the beta version it wasn't a jump map so I don't know if they changed it, but it did show the objectives, where there is a FROG, and where you are.

This team did a superior job with this game. The voice actors were exceptional. This game to me surpassed a 10/10 rating. I base this on the beta version.
Story: As the game starts, you see your hubby walking into the woods, and as you follow him he tells you to stay back. Of course you don't listen and follow him. He does have a dream of a woman becoming him, and a short time passes and the lighthouse blows up. She has to get the lighthouse back working again, or otherwise the evil trees of the forest will devour the town. Then she has to look for her husband.
Graphics: Absolutely gorgeous. This team has a top notched art team.
Music: Fits the game beautifully. I loved it.
H0G scenes: They are fun. Each item you find gives you a piece of the item that will end up in your inventory. I did run into one FROG, so I don't know if there will be more.
Mini games: Fun. Not to hard or easy just right. Still like to know how they did that movie mini game. The mini games are totally original.
Kudos to this team for a fantastic job well done. I am so looking forward to playing the full version. Thank you.

This game I definitely rate a 10/10. From what I played on the beta version, I didn't want to stop. Bought this game straight away.
Story: Vanessa's grandfather was a member of the Secret Order who was guarding the gate but evil prevailed and stole the ruins. Vanessa's grandfather went in search of the runes, but disappeared. Vanessa being the only heiress is not only in search of the ruins, but also her grandfather.
Music: Absolutely wonderful. Fits the game perfectly.
Graphics: Gorgeous! I stopped playing for a bit just to look at them. Even the opening scene looks like something out of the movies.
Mini games: Not too hard or easy. Just enough challenge. Really enjoyed them.
H0G Scenes: Some are the list with extra step items, and some are where you have to put the items back into the scene.
Map: Jump map. The best kind :)

This to me is a 10/10 game. I am thoroughly engrossed in this game. And also being a big fan of the show. This team did a superb job with this game.
Story: These two guys are at again tracking down what appears to be a serial killer. So needless to say Kate and Rick are going to be extremely busy. Just hope Rick doesn't get onto Kate's nerves in this episode. He has a wonderful knack for doing that, but yet they end up solving the mystery.
Graphics: Absolutely superb. This team always had a top notch crew.
Music: Perfect. Fits the game beautifully.
Mini Games: Just right. Makes you think but doesn't get you frustrated.
Map: Appears to be a jump map.
Hint system: Works in and out of the H0G scenes.
This is one awesome game. Kudos to the team for a job well done! You guys rock!
