Others have written very detailed excellent descriptions of this game, so l just want to say it was a great captivating story & I loved the incorporation of the other series --all of which I play/collect with the exception of the "Off the Record" series, which I will now try. The graphics are beautiful and I WANT THAT HOUSE with the infinity pool!!! Gorgeous..and it seemed to go on forever, so many rooms! Puzzles were great as well. I mostly play games set in older/ancient times, but DR is modern-era series that I just love.

There's nothing more I can say about this amazing game that hasn't been said in the other reviews. I just want to put my 5 stars in! Just played this and the sequel "Kiss of Betrayal" and both were exceptional in quality & fun! Great graphics, sound effects. Interesting characters & storylines that grab you from the start & hold you 'til the credits roll. Wish I had gotten the CEs....

This is an excellent series. Well done, Big Fish! Different from most of the HOGs I play in that it's a realistic storyline vs ghosts & monsters, etc., that a good portion of the HOGs are, which I LOVE as well, but the 2 Cadenza games are refreshingly different. Graphics and sound effects/music are great & the characters are interesting. Takes you all over the place, from wedding preparations at a mansion, to the Jazz Pepper Club to the city hospital & morgue to "Chinatown" & then through a swamp! Breathtaking! Can't wait for the next one!
Great game. Nice blend of hidden object scenes, some with a list of items find & some with items that you put in their proper place. Tons of places to go & was thrilled to end up on a space ship! Loved the alien angle... just a good all over entertaining game... and with a twist at the end! Also enjoyed the morphing objects & the fact that you can turn on a feature in the map to show you what locations you may have missed them in. I never find all of them in a game, but this time I did..with help, and that's okay. You can shut that off by unchecking the box. Again, great game. Loved it. Thank you developers and BFG. :)
Explore the vastness of a ship lost in time, what mysteries will you uncover amidst its Mayan idols, menacing sea creatures, and exotic treasures? Find out in this exciting new Hidden Object Puzzle Adventure game on the open seas!
Loved this game. Plenty of places to go and tons of extras... aside from the adventure, there are hummingbirds to find; beyond objects, parts of an artifact to find (the pieces tell the story) & a bunch of achievements, plus if you don't like the hidden object scenes, you can switch to mahjongg. Great game. Wish they all had these features.

Just finished this game & am actually feeling cranky about it. The story is excellent, the graphics are beautiful & it was challenging even without the extremely frustrating mini games. There weren't too many ho scenes, for those of you who prefer fewer of those. You can use the hint button any time, but beware, it will tell you exactly what you need to do & where to find the object to do it with. More of an answer than a clue. The adventure part of the game is outstanding & I would give this game 5 stars if I didn't have to skip most of the puzzles. That took a good bit of the fun out of it for me. I wasn't alone with this frustration, as I saw in the forum when I went there for help. For most of the puzzles (for me), it was difficulty plus an inordinate amount of time & moves required to solve that ruined them for me. I lost interest & hit the skip button long before they would have been solved by me. One person commented in the forum that one of the games, by her count, required about 160 moves...I had skipped this one because you almost had to plot all of the moves before you made them because just 1 move to a wrong square required a "reset". GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. I will play again at some point & try to solve the puzzles--but not for a long time. I am recommending this game, but only for the very patient. :-)
I really like this one. Liked the story & thought the sound effects were really good...the only complaint is that I found a few of the hidden objects hard to see. A couple of times I had to blind-click where the hint button directed me & even when I got it, did not see where it came from, if that makes sense. In all honesty, though.......it could be my eyesight. :) I'm still giving it 5 stars, though, because of the 2 things they gave you that I have not yet seen... the ability to get a hint outside of the hos, when you get stuck. That might not be new in a game, but it was for me. I liked not having to go out of the game and scroll through the walkthrough to find what you missed (although I did do that once, out of habit). The other is the unexpected and delightful surprise of an "epilogue" chapter in a non-CE game. It was short but very sweet. Good game!

This is a great game. A good long play (for me, who plays an hour or 2, 3-5 times a week) with breathtaking graphics. I loved the demon storyline & the dark, fiery, volcanic atmosphere. Tons of travel & rooms. Not too many HO scenes... a good balance between HO & adventure. There are 2 bonus chapters, the first was very short. The second chapter was much better. I did skip a lot of the mini games, either because they were just too hard for me or I wasn't enjoying them & wanted to move on. The ONLY issue I had with this game is that I a)had to change my display to 1400 x 1050 so that the cursor would go all the way to the left of the picture (otherwise you couldn't pick some things up in the HO scenes) and b) that it would not fill my 17 inch widescreen, no matter what I tried. I did get used to it, though. I do have a brand new ASUS i7 gaming computer, so don't think it's me...unless it's just TOO much awesomeness in a computer...or I don't know what buttons to push...that's probably it. Anyway, 5 stars from me. Thanks BFG & the people who wrote the game! Superb!
I loved this game. Tons of travel and not too many hidden object scenes. I found it quite challenging & even had to skip a mini game or 2. :( My own fault for being impatient....and possibly a little dumb..... The bonus play was kind of short, but set it up for a sequel nicely. I enjoyed this as much as Escape from Ravenhearst.
Lots to do & tons of travel. Just the right blend of mini games & ho scenes. The games were not too hard. I did skip one but more so because I wasn't enjoying it vs it being too hard. Enjoyed the 3 characters. It was easy to get to the meeting place & then you can just click on the map & click back to where you left off instead of having to travel through all the screens again. Gorgeous graphics! This is one of those gems that you think will be short because of the lower mb size, but it gives you a good long play (for me anyway). Loved it!
