I am so glad that I tried this game. It is adorable and quirky and a lot of fun. It is really different from what is usually on offer and I am really enjoying it.
It is very clever and thought provoking without being tediously tricky and hard.
You work to build a world by combining elements. Some of the combinations are very easy to figure out, and others are surprising and many of the ones that I have found accidentally have made me laugh and think 'of course! How funny!'
There are hidden object scenes, but you choose how many of them to do, and it is not (thankfully) the focus of the game.
It looks like there are going to be hours and hours of gameplay here.
If you try one more new game this year, take a chance on this one! It really is a hidden gem!
I recommend this game!

This is such a fun little game! Had hours of fun playing it through the first time and going back to play as a diferent character class now. If you aren't familiar with these types of games, give it a try and see how you do! If you have played these games before you will love this one. Funny little twists in dialogue had me smiling as well as references to '42' and The Discworld. I hope and pray to see more like this and maybe even a sequel! Well done BF and Devs! Thanks for the great game!
Not sure how I missed this one! Good old school civilization/city building game. Nothing brilliant with the graphics, but the gameplay is fun. Reminds me of the old Cesar series. Have just completed the trial and purchased the game. I was distracted for much of that hour, but knew that I would be buying it within the first few minutes. Loved how you can chose the level of difficulty and also choose to have times or un-timed! Give it a try, I think you will have fun!
I recommend this game!

More of these please!
I have played the demo and purchased the game. I do not understand some of the poor reviews. I am a bit of a TD fanatic, so maybe it was easier for me to understand what to do. I do not think that this game is too hard. I do think it could have had a better tutorial for absolute beginners. Other than that I am really enjoying the game. This is the best TD game on bigfish so far! Sound and graphics are what you would expect, game play is smooth and clean, levels work up slowly enough. I can't find anything bad to say about it! If you like TD games at all, give it a try, I am sure you will like it!
I recommend this game!

I have played the demo plus 2 hours of this game.
I really like the concept for this game. Very different from most other games of this type.
It has the usual gather resources, build, acquire workers tasks, but in a new and interesting format. I love how you can progress to new levels without time requirements, but you have the option of getting gold/silver/bronze on the levels, and have achievements as well. This gives it great replay value and the choice of playing a casual game or a fast paced one.
The graphics are simple but good and colourful, The sound is nice and not irritating. I do not usually play music at all but I left it on for the demo.
It *does* get more challenging as you progress. After the demo new challenges are introduced that make finishing a level more involved and require a bit more thought and concentration.
Over-all a pretty fun game. So glad BF is giving us a variety of games and not all HOGs!
I recommend this game!

I adore TD games and I was very excited to try this one!
This is BY FAR the most difficult TD game I have ever played. I am only 6 levels into the game after the hour demo! I have had to replay the last level multiple times trying to figure out what int he world I was supposed to do to keep from dying by wave 2.
I will probably be buying this game, but will wait for a day when I want to be really stumped and challenged. This is not a casual game in any way.
I almost never listen to music and rarely the sounds on a game but I had both on for this game. They were not anoying or distracting and added something to the game. Not brilliant music in any way, but the sounds made sense and none of that "TA DAH! junk.
The one massive drawback is that this game is a bit of a clickfest. You MUST use your spells constantly to have any chance of surviving. When I play TD I expect my towers to do the majority of the work and not have to click on monsters constantly.
I got gold on all of the levels that I played, but never once did I stop everything form reaching my castle. Not even on the tutorial level!
Give it a try if you are fond of TD or even time management type of games.
Glad to see more types of games coming out these days! Keep up the variety BF!
I recommend this game!

I bought this game after the demo.
I really liked this game. I like having the option to place buildings anywhere that you want to. I am not very far into the game, but it seems to get a bit more chalenging as you go along.
I rarely listen to the music on games. I usually keep the sound on low. The sound on this game is so awful and annoying that I had to keep it off. Doesn't matter to me much anyway so did not ruin the game for me.
If you like building games I would say give it a try. I am usually willing to try and game BF puts up that isn't a HOG!
I recommend this game!

Towers of Oz
Battle wooden soldiers, saber-toothed tigers and giant frogs in tactical battles as you defend the Land of Oz from the Dwarf King!
I love TD games. I was excited to try this even with the bad reviews. I could not make it even half way through the demo. I am quite good at all kinds of TD games. This one is such a mess that I could barely play it at all. The storyline is terrible. The controls are odd. The gameplay is not just difficult, but unplayable. The idea of building a deck is a good one, but other than that, i cannot think of one single thing about this game that is good. As an experienced TD player, I can tell you to not even bother trying it. I would LOVE to see more TD games. But not anything like this one!
I don't recommend this game.

Botanica: Into the Unknown
Use your botany skills to survive the strange new planet of Botanica. Can you find your way back to Earth in this thrilling Hidden Object adventure?
This review is based on the one hour collectors version demo and the entire regular game. Played for the first time on Easy level.
I loved this game. Beautiful graphics and sound, great characters and story line and some truly unique features and puzzles!
I very rarely buy collectors additions . I have maybe bought 2 in the last 4 years or so but if you have the extra money, get the collectors version. I may one day purchase it even though I already own the game! If you live in the UK, games are taxed at a higher rate and it does discourage me from buying some games, and in this case, the FAR better collectors version.
This is a good adventure game. A few HOG scenes, but challenging and fun. Almost all of the puzzles were things I had never seen before, or dramatically different and improved versions of standard puzzles.
Voice-overs were good, realistic and well done. You could read and accelerate the cut scenes or skip them, but there would never be a need to in this game.
I almost never listen to the music with games, but I had it on low volume and enjoyed it.
The only very minor complaint that I had was that a small number of the puzzles gave you no real idea of what they wanted you to do, and even on easy level the hints were non-existent. Maybe they were just so simple that I was over thinking?
This game has good replay value, and I am sure the collectors version has great replay value.
Give this game a try!
I recommend this game!

Based on Demo + almost 3 hours.
I was so desperate to find something other than a HOG to play that I gave this a try. I have tried many solitaire type games on BF and elsewhere. Pretty standard time waster. Not this one! This is a fun game! It has an adventure type feel. Many new features and level challenges. I found it really challenging. Not so hard that you want to give up, but the kind of challenge that makes you fired up to keep going! With every new level there are 'novelty' cards that bring a lot of fun to the game. I almost do not feel like I am playing solitaire at all. The story line is brilliant. Graphics are good. I almost always turn the music off for every game, but I did have it on at a low level for this one. It adds to the game. I can see this having massive replay value as well. This is probably the highest rating that I have given a game. Mostly because I was so surprised at how much fun it was. If you have any doubts about trying this one, put them aside and try the demo!
