I bought this game and maybe on a cold dreary day in the winter in FL I will take it out and try it again. I bought it because it got great reviews and i thought it might open itself up but.....eghhhhhhit just doesn't do much for me. The artwork is ok but the plot is poor. The HOS are real junkpiles and I just can't get into these two part HOS Also theres no direction. I keep trying to figure out why I would want to go ANYWHERE?
. Oh well it guzinta the library of almost rans. Maybe someday I will view it more favorably.

My review is based on the demo....I am looking forwrd to the full download!!!
I was in despair...I hadn't found a well put together game in what seemed ages and had resorted to replaying old favorites when this little gem came along.! What a delightful game. The artwork is exceptionally well done and the HOS are not just great big junk piles. Also the hidden objects are one-steppers..I like that. the plot, hunting for missing brother,...although overdone is still a decent one and the way of developing the story with letters and Diary pages works well for me. The music is well done quite nice as a matter of fact.....and the puzzles are playable and fairly frequent.
I am quite delighted with the game and although I find the plot a wee bit overdone I would recommend this puzzle as a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon!

Well BFG has been so boring lately.....I was actually excited when they released a couple of oldies and I found a good one. But it was not this game. I can not believe all the 5 star reviews and I can't believeI purchased this game even at 6.99........It is boring....HOS big junk piles not even well drawn...............games .boring and simplistic. and the back and forth and back and forth jeez louise what a nightmare. I think I will go play AZAZDA or something.....This game really leaves me weary...Cmon BFG something new and exciting PLEASE!!!!
I don't recommend this game.
There's a terrible secret hidden deep within Lockwood Manor!

I don't write a lot of reviews because I am generally not impressed by a lot of games. Oh I play them but they never make enough of an impression on me to try to review them. But this game hits the mark. First of all I really like the HOG"s in this game. So far they are one parters...which I love. Also they are what they are supposed to be. No cutesy guessing games. Plus the graphics are terrific! . The story line thus far is involving and although there is a bit of running about it makes sense and I can follow it without a strategy guide. So.......Thank you BFG for bringing this one back at a discount...Thanks to the developers for great graphics and a good plot and oh yes...the music IS WONDERFUL!!!!!
At a regular price for a CE I would have bought this...at a discount it's a gift.

Okok so it is not "the perfect game" but I am loving every minute of it..The artwork is consistent with the first game and the puzzles are fun and I have waited so long to meet Dela and Hari again..gotta go the game awaits!!!
I recommend this game!

Thank you ! I had begun to despair of ever playing a AAA quality game again. Other manufactures take notice. This is what a game is supposed to be like. Great artwork,good appropriate music, voiceovers that match mouth movements, an interesting plot,fun puzzles and well drawn hidden object scenes.
I bought it before the demo was even done.

what a pleasure to play a game without ghosts or spiders.....seriously this is a good basic who dunnit type of game with good artwork...decent puzzles and a great mystery..........My only problem is no walkthru but there are always ways around and so far I've made it through without being totally stumped. All in all a great Sunday type of game.......definitely a buy for me.

I really liked this game. The artwork was really well done and the game play was gripping. Once I started this game I couldn't stop and dinner went uncooked more than once...and that was the second time I played it. Definitely a game to put in your collection.
I recommend this game!

First of all buy the Collectors edition...I came to this game late...missed the release...bought the SE and ended up going back to buy the Collectors edition......This game is everything an adventure /hidden object /puzzle game should be. The artwork is superb,,,,the voiceover done with panache and the plot...well that's why I bought Collectors...had to have even more. I would recommend this game to all and then some. thanks BFG more more!!!!
