REVIEW BASED ON THE FIRST 4 CHAPTERS OF THE ACTUAL GAME OF 6 CHAPTERS PLUS A BONUS GAME
What has that eccentric tree hugger Aunt Mae "dug up" now? - Why are people disappearing - or are they? The end is near! The "ghouls" are asking you to "BOO"-GIE ON DOWN to a 1970's Apocalypse Now Garden Party! The story is dark but not terribly scary. The graphics are dark and ominous.
HOP SCENES: Multi-step and puzzle-like with a new variation - using morphing objects to unlock a list of silhouette items. There are also lists, silhouettes, FROGS, story sequence, and mini-HOP scenes. You have the option to play a Match 3 game instead. (II loved the creepy dolls in the Match 3 game).
PUZZLES: The stand alone puzzles ARE FEW IN THE DEMO BUT THERE ARE MORE AND BETTER ONES IN THE ACTUAL GAME! They include Simon Says, jigsaw puzzles, sliding puzzles, assembly puzzles, moving tiles puzzles, moving target puzzle, assembly - create a key puzzle. My favorite was following a schematic and creating a cog for a machine.
LEVELS: Easy, Medium, Hard, Custom
Hints 10 to 120 seconds Skips 10 to 400 seconds
Optional penalties for random clicking and for sparkles on active areas
INVENTORY: Interactive and puzzle-like with sliding tile puzzles
GRAPHICS : Dark and spooky with an element of creepiness
EXTRAS:
Map - Map is given to you at the start of the game
12 Achievements
Souvenir Room
43 Morphing objects:
Strategy guide
Usual Wallpaper, Music, Artwork, and Puzzles
HERE ARE THE DETAILS (SPOILERS) FOR THOSE WANT MORE INFO ON THE HOP SCENES AND PUZZLES:
HOP SCENES: They are well-done, creative and puzzle like. You can play a Match 3 game instead
A. Locate a number of a specific item opening up a list of items to locate ending with the silhouette of an inventory item
B. Variation of a silhouette using the contents of a purse
C. Mini HOP scenes with list of items
D. YES VIRGINIA - A FROG SCENE for those who love fragmented items
E. Collect morphing objects to uncover a list of silhouette items to locate NEW AND SO COOL DEVS THINKING OUTSIDE THE BOX
F. Story sequence which is a combo of a puzzle and HOP scene combined. Sentences contains items to be located in bold letters EXCELLENT HOP SCENE DEVS! SUPERB!
AFTER THE DEMO:
G. Mini HOP scenes with lists of items to locate
H. List of items to locate on a wall in a cave with mini HOP scenes searching for one particular item - watches - quartz crystals VERY COOL
I. Collect morphing objects to uncover a list of items to locate. Rather cool. Must move items in mini scenes to locate the items
PUZZLES: Not enough of them and the ones in the game are BEYOND EASY!
A. Variation of 2 different types of switch puzzles to open a gate Moderate difficulty
B. Variation of Simon Says - Press branches in a certain sequence to disclose inventory items
C. Variation of an assembly puzzle - placing items from smallest to largest around a circle Very easy
D Variation of Simon Says puzzle - pushing buttons in correct order to open a brief case Very easy
E. Sliding puzzle - match up designs to open a box Very easy
F. Variation of a jig saw puzzle - place pieces back into a mosaic Moderate difficulty
AFTER THE DEMO: SO MUCH BETTER AFTER THE DEMO
G. Climb up a wall by centering a ball to climb up 3X
H. Using a schematic - fashion a cog for a machine. VERY AWESOME DEVS
I . Fashion a key to open a door VERY AWESOME DEVS
J. Assembly puzzle. Arrange pictures to create a scene
K. Variation of a moving tile puzzle. Move lions to the center by moving them in a circular motion

YEAH! It is Christmas in July this week for me! Two of these games this week! This game has the "Hallmark" of excellence for this type of game. Such a nice Christmas story. It is through the looking glass for our little "penguino" (what I call him) and his family. Help them return home.
• To game modes - Casual and Advanced
• Auto-fill for the unused spaces
• Colored screens - 3 for most games
• Items are given to help you throughout the game - such as a pickax
• You are accountable for mistakes and must start over if you have too many
• If like normal games for this dev grids from 10 X 10 to 25 X 25
• If like past games - approximately 100 puzzles
• Nice relaxing "muzac." Got me in the mood to do some yoga and get into a meditative state! LOL
This is the "champagne" dev for these games and I have been looking forward to this dev's game for such a long time. THANK YOU BFG!!! This game is an automatic purchase for me WOW! Two "griddler," "nonogram," "Ekaki," "Paint-by-Number," or if your prefer "PIc-a-Pix" games this week! SO NICE!
I recommend this game!

A BIG THANK YOU to BFG for providing this game. I LOVE these games. It has been SO LONG since one has appeared on this game site! Yeah!! This is a form of Sudoku in which you must calculate which squares are filled in and which are not.
• Grids - 10 x 10 to 25 x 25 (if like previous games by this dev)
• No auto-fill, no multi-colors screens You must fill in your own X's for squares not used
• Collect coins in which to purchase hints
• Multiple "cases" of varying levels to play. Actually to me, there is no "story."
• You must play a complete series or you will lose your progress.
They are basically grids (if like the previous games) which vary from 10x10 to 25 x 25. They are called "griddlers" by this dev, but they are also called "nonograms," E'Kaki" (Japanese) Paint-by-Numbers (by "Games" magazine), and "Pic-a-Pix" (by Conceptis Puzzles). At least for me, they, at help me focus and concentrate my thoughts while working on a project. I play these all the time.
I like this game but I tend to like the another dev who also provides these game a little better. It is lacking some of the WOW factor of auto-fill and multiple colors. Actually, I did not discover any "story" for any of the "cases." I also dislike losing your progress by not completing a set of games in a series. You must start all over again - which is annoying.
I recommend this game!

A LONG GAME - 8 CHAPTERS PLUS A BONUS CHAPTER
Through the looking glass - we have hubby to the rescue in another DEVILISH game in a NEVER ENDING saga of EVIL witch Morgana causing trouble for ANGELIC witch, Lynn. Is Morgana really dead? If she is then this series should follow her to the OTHER WORLD as well! The DEMONIC IMP is back, used more than in previous games, slowing down the pace of the game. Same old characters - same rehashed story - same plot. I would have given this game the full 5 stars except for the imp which slowed down the game!
SAVING GRACE: HERE IS THE AMAZING GRACE WHICH HAS SAVED THIS POOR WRETCHED GAME: (And the only reason I purchased it!) - the HEAVENLY puzzles and HOP scenes. I LOVE THE PUZZLES AND HOP SCENES which are creative and innovative. There are many activities in this game. . You also make an assortment of potions in this game - looking for ingredients and combing them.
PUZZLES: The puzzles we nicely done. They include some multiple step "super puzzles" as well. They include variations of jigsaw puzzles, matching, moving tile puzzles, pipe puzzle (getting rid of lines in a battle with an enemy), and after the demo - a moving tile puzzle.
HOP SCENES: There is a wide variety of them. There are multiple activities for each HOP scene and some mini-HOP scenes which are mainly FROGS - looking for pieces to complete an inventory object. You can play a Matching game instead. They include silhouette, mini HOP scenes which are a variation of a FROG, and lists of item to locate, storybook interactive - moving pieces to correct locations.
LEVELS: Casual, Normal, Hard, Custom
Hints 10 to 35 seconds Skips 10 to 50 seconds Penalties for clicking errors in HOP scenes
INVENTORY: Interactive and puzzle-like
GRAPHICS : Cartoonish - bright colors throughout. Nice voice overs.
EXTRAS:
Map - is given to you at the start of the game
29 Achievements
Collect 36 pieces for 4 jigsaw puzzles
35 Morphing objects:

Helper - used 14 times - A DEMONIC IMP who sits staring at you with horns and white eyes and grunts and groans throughout the game. Just plain creepy to me If you click on him, he does all kinds of absurd things - so gimmicky! Waves at you - serenades you - takes FOREVER to perform actions.
Usual wallpaper, artwork, soundtrack
CHAPTER 4 - The HOP scenes and puzzles are similar to the demo. Many mini-HOP scenes with FROGs. The game continues pretty much as it was in the demo. The only new element is the addition of a former character to the game and a moving tile puzzle.
FOR THOSE WHO WANT MORE INFORMATION (SPOILERS) ON THE GAME:
HOP SCENES: Interactive a well-done Very creative Super HOP scenes You can play a matching game instead

I tried this game and am not impressed. Sorry! I play a similar game on my Android which I LOVE! So many more activities with that game.
First, the game is rather confusing to me. I felt that some of the instructions were difficult to understand. My friends and I tried out this game together. None of us could understand the complete operation of this game.
In comparison to my "other" candy game - this one lacks the graphics and colors of that game. The graphics are definitely lacking in this game. They seem one-dimensional
The girl is annoying. She should definitely go! I would suggest bringing in some other character to replace her. The vocabulary is dated. My friends and I got a chuckle out of expressions such as "Far out" and "Right on" in the game.
I will not play this game ever. Sorry - but it did not catch my interest. I cannot put a finger on it - but it just lacks! Exactly what is lacks is hard to put into words. Probably the best way to describe this would be it just does not have the "WOW" factor of the similar game I play on my Android.
You should re-evaluate this game. I would use better graphics, colors, items (I think the gummies are not as attractive as the items in my other game) and characters. The game is just too one-dimensional. The voice of the girl as well drove one of my friends "up-the-wall." He described it as "annoying."
Hope that helps! I LOVE BFG games generally but so far have not found a F2P game which I enjoy.
Best of luck with this one.
I don't recommend this game.

REVIEW BASED ON THE FIRST 3 CHAPTERS OF THE ACTUAL GAME - 6 CHAPTERS PLUS A BONUS CHAPTER
Jealousy and revenge abound in Elizabethan England! You play a tutor to the queen's ward - Edward. When he disappears - you are off to locate him with a childhood friend - Elizabethan bad boy, Francis Drake. To me, this is a helper game which I LOVE with an equal amount of HOP scenes and puzzles. Surprised? So am I. The reason - it is a well crafted game WITH SO MUCH TO DO. It keeps you engaged with a myriad of puzzles and HOP scenes which are varied. It is so creative! I even like the "helper" in this game - Francis Drake - who brings comical relief in a game which would be otherwise a little stiff and stuffy. My kind of guy - SO FUNNY and helpful as well!
A very long game - 53 pages in the Strategy Guide
PUZZLES: A puzzler's delight and a great deal of variety. The entire game is puzzle-like including the inventory. Most are easy or of medium difficulty. They include searching for a code to open a codex, several matching puzzles, finding differences between two pictures, painting so colors do not touch each other, (after the demo) weight and balances puzzle, removal of sticks in order, variation of a moving tile puzzle, a variation of Simon Says puzzle
HOP SCENES: Varied and puzzle-like. Quite a few in this game. They include lists, silhouettes, a variety of FROGS, storybook sentences, matching items to create an item to place in the HOP scene, replacement of items back into the scenes (after the demo) another interactive silhouette
LEVELS: Casual, Advanced, hard, Custom
Hints 15 to 300 seconds Skips 15 to 300 seconds
INVENTORY: Very puzzle-like and well-done It contains several mini-puzzles which we don't usually see in games. One of the best parts of the game.
GRAPHICS : Cartoon-like with brilliant colors - rather old-school in appearance.
EXTRAS:
Map - Map is provided as you play the game
Achievements
Collect 8 hidden words
Morphing Objects

Helper - "Francis Drake" (I guess before he was knighted LOL). He was your childhood companion. You need to supply him with inventory items for him to perform a task. I USUALLY HATE HELPERS BUT THIS RAPSCALLION IS RATHER COOL AND FUNNY! A real Elizabethan "bad boy!'
Usual wallpaper, art, and music plus bonus game
THE FOLLOWING ARE DETAILS (SPOILERS) OF THE HOP SCENES AND PUZZLES:
HOP SCENES:
A. Silhouette followed by replacing items back into the scenes. Opening drawers to locate items - fairly cool! Very puzzle-like and extremely well-done
B. Second silhouette with items to locate for your travel bag
C. Story book sequence locating items from cryptic sentences in a storybook
D. Another story book scene of finding items and replacing items back into the HOP scene to the proper location
E. Matching pieces of items together and then replacing the completed items into HOP scenes
F. Silhouette locate items to be used within the HOP scene opening boxes to get fragments of a statue
G. Variation of a FROG - looking for a certain amount of each list item followed by replacing items back into the HOP scenes on a mural. So well - done
H. List of items to locate which then interact with the HOP scene
I. Matching
J. Silhouette with an awesome pinball sequence in the HOP scene
PUZZLES:
A. Use a punch card to find the code for a codex. Unique
B. Trace a letter of the alphabet using a pen
C. Place items back into revolving scenes followed by a matching sequence on axes
D. Matching Place books into a bookshelf according to symbols on the books
E. Creating mythical creatures by combining three elements together to open a door
F. Matching so that two phoenixes are identical
G. Find the differences
H. Pair up two lions so they are identical
I. Variation of a matching game with tokens
J. Painting a variation of paint by number - colors cannot touch each other
K. Arrange flowers according to a color code
L. Matching - cylinder according to design - not as easy as you make think
M. Simon says with butterflies
N.. Weights and balances puzzle with angels
O. Matching pairs of books
P. Removing sticks in order
Q. Variation of a moving tile puzzle for a stained glass window
R. Simon Says puzzle with bells
SUCH A GREAT GAME! A FUTURE CLASSIC! SO WELL-DONE!
I recommend this game!

FOUR CHAPTERS PLUS A BONUS CHAPTER - BASED ON A VERY SHORT DEMO
Happy 18th Birthday Prince Tristan! With your parents kidnapped and missing, you must fight a usurper, Vincent to reclaim your throne - all with the help of a ruby ring. To me this game is not CE worthy. It has the appearance of an animated fairy tale book. The pace of the game is very slow. The graphics are cartoon-like. There are more puzzles than HOP scenes. The HOP scenes are varied including silhouettes, mini HOP scenes, lists and story book sentences with items to locate in bold. The puzzles are easy and include matching, variations of maze puzzles , Simon Says sequence puzzles, and a ring puzzle. There are no mouth movements for the characters. The collectibles are crowns which practically jump out at you. I felt this game lacked creativity and some of the extras and pizzazz we expect in CE games.
This game is fairy tale book come to life. I feel this would be an excellent game for children. The game is very sweet with adorable animals including a jackalope! LOL This game may get better as it progresses. It is hard to rate a game after playing only one chapter. This game does not interest me and I will not purchase but perhaps you will enjoy it. Vincent reminded me of the character of Loki from the movie "Thor."
LEVELS: Citizen, Royalty, Legend, Custom Hints 10 to 95 seconds Skips 10 to 95 seconds
GRAPHICS : Cartoon-like with purples and pink hues. No mouth movements. I found the graphics at times a little blurry
EXTRAS:
Map is given to you at the start of the game

HOP SCENES: They are varied but not many in the demo:
A. Silhouette of a specific amount of an item B. Mini HOP scene to create an inventory item C. Item list with some interactivity D. Story - Sentences containing items listed in bold golden letters
PUZZLES: They vary and are very easy
A. Matching of two symbols B. Press symbols on a book to create a potion C. Variation of a maze puzzle using symbols to find a path D. Variation of Simon Says with musical notes playing a tune E. Variation of a ring puzzle connecting lines to four corners to energize a tree F. Type of maze in which you must fill in all the squares without retracing your steps G. Another type of maze using an arrow to strike out all lighted crystals H. Match flowers to etchings.

5 CHAPTERS PLUS A BONUS CHAPTER - REVIEW BASED ON THE FIRST HALF OF THE GAME
"Revenge" comes to gaming! A masked avenger is seeking some much needed justice in this rather DARK - adult "whodunit." The graphics are realistic with sharp imaging. There is a variety of HOP puzzles - lists, replacing items back into the scenes, silhouette. Some puzzles have a choice between hard and easy modes - sliding tiles, switch puzzle, memory puzzle, marble puzzles (variation of sliding puzzle), Simon Says, timed puzzle and choosing the correct response to questions. All excellent! There are more puzzles than HOP scenes. The inventory is interactive Collect memory fragments to use with a Memory Device which unlocks a video about the story. You also purchase items you need for the game at a local vendor for inventory items. I found the game is well paced and fun to play.
WOW! What an awesome game and a real turnaround (really) for the GamERS. I LOVE THIS GAME! I am speechless because it is like this dev reinvented themselves. BE WARNED - THIS IS A DARK ADULT GAME. Good! I LOVE THE CAT. "Mr. Meanie" is at least nice enough to give you some of his 9 lives. You still have a few animals from the GamERS' menagerie, but they are not used as helpers. There is also some nice eye candy in this game - Jim!
CHAPTER 3: HOP scenes COMPLETELY CHANGE TO JUST LISTS OF ITEMS! I found four HOP scenes with lists - not that interactive. No variations in the HOP scenes. I found five puzzles - a book puzzle, using a telescope, a matching, transfer rings puzzle and a "shooting" sequence. I got a "charge" out of the awesome Tesla plasma spheres - obviously designed to further "generate" some interest in this game! LOL
LEVELS: Casual, Advanced, Hard, Custom HOP - Hints and Skips - 5 to 200 seconds There is an penalty option for random clicking for HOP scenes if you wish
GRAPHICS : Realistic, sharp imaging and nicely done. Very beautiful
EXTRAS:
Map is provided at the beginning of the game
Memory Device - look for blobs then receive a memory stone to get a story video SO COOL - THINKING OUTSIDE THE BOX DEV!
Collect 16 gruesome masks
24 Achievements
Collect coins to purchase inventory items
Strategy guide
Wallpaper, music, artwork, movies, screensavers, extra HOP puzzles
NO MORPHING OBJECTS
HERE ARE THE DETAILS (SPOILERS) FOR THOSE WANT MORE INFO ON THE HOP scenes and puzzles:
HOP SCENES:
A. Search for one particular type of item B. Replace items back into HOP scene C. Switching between replacing items back into the HOP scene and locating item through silhouettes D. List of items followed by searching for coins
PUZZLES: More puzzles than HOP scenes. Choice between Hard and Easy modes
A. Sliding tiles to open a gate B. Sliding tiles to open postal box C. Variation of a switch puzzle - Swap the positions of the knights with thieves D. Asked cryptic questions which you must answer correctly to regain a life E. Variation of moving tiles into proper slots F. Card game - look at cards for few seconds turned over and then guess where it is located G. Moving gears (variation of moving tiles) to the correct slots H. Marble game. Move marbles into correct location I. Simon says - press buttons in correct order to release a man J. Move a diver to a treasure chest stopping for air through air bubbles You are only given a certain amount of moves K. Book puzzle - move books into correct positions L. BASED ON A VERY SHORT DEMO. You are to the rescue to save the muse Calliope, whose essence has been shattered into three pieces leaving everyone without their talents. Personally I dislike this game. The storyline is bizarre; the HOP scenes are redundant - finding objects which are used in the scenes with the option of a Match 3 game - plus one story sequence to search for items; the puzzles are boringly easy. You receive "Toga Barbie" AKA "Harlequin" to help you with your tasks. Being a "fashionista" - she cannot perform any activity without a costume change. The most ridiculous one to me was her dressing up in a cowgirl outfit to ring a bell. Really? There are also a myriad of animals brought to life through a paint palette to also help you in the game. Personally, the game is DREADFUL The only redeeming point in the game are the beautiful graphics.
A BIG THANK YOU devs for getting rid of the "giggling" Harlequin from the beta version. If you like helpers, dolls, and easy puzzles - you will love this game. I will not purchase this game - EVER!

POSSIBLE SPOILERS:
HOP SCENES: You have the option to play a Match 3 game instead. These are what I found in the demo: Locate items to be used within the HOP scene to end up with a final inventory item - matching like items - a story using sentences with items to locate outlined in bold letters
PUZZLES: Very boring and very easy consisting of a maze puzzle, balance puzzle, plus a variety of a Simon says puzzle moving statues., creating letters from symbols
MAYBE OUR MUSE CALLIOPE WILL INSPIRE BFG TO PROVIDE SOME MUCH DESIRED CHALLENGING GAMES FOR SOME OF US
I recommend this game!

Genre: Murder mystery - 5 Chapters Plus Bonus - HOP heavy/Puzzle light - easy
As a detective, you are hired to protect a skating sensation, Ruth Fisher from a stalker. However, your assignment soon changes to investigating a series of murders. Personally, I found the story well written and suspenseful. The graphics present a realistic winter scene and are beautifully created. The voiceovers are excellent. The BEST PART of the game are the HOP scenes - each scene contains at least three different styles of HOP scenes which are interconnected with some puzzle. You may opt to play a Match 3 game instead, which include EIPIX symbols and theme related items. The individual puzzles are easy. The dev obviously spent more time in developing the HOP scenes than the individual puzzles. As a murder mystery, you ask questions and place evidence on an evidence board to figure out "whodunit." You collect snow globes and morphing objects in the HOP scenes
The game is consistent with the others in the series - except it involves skating - not dance. The layout is similar to the others as well. However, I felt that the puzzles are lacking a little from the previous games. I would like to see more variety in the level of challenge of the puzzles. The HOP scenes incorporate every type of HOP scene - interactive lists of items, searching for specific number of a specific item, silhouette, cryptic clues, story with items outlined in bold letters, replacement of items into the scene. There are puzzles attached to these HOP scenes as well.
Moving into Chapter 3 of the game - the HOP scenes were mostly silhouette and the ones I played were similar to the demo. The puzzles were very easy.

You can opt for penalties for random clicking in HOP scenes

HERE ARE THE DETAILS (SPOILERS) FOR THOSE WANT MORE INFO ON THE HOIP SCENES AND PUZZLES:
HOP SCENES: EXCELLENT. This dev is known for the puzzle-like HOP scenes with multiple, variable varieties of HOP scenes. Most are puzzle-like and incorporate at least three differing HOP scenes and activities to receive an inventory items. This is a list of types Super HOP scenes I found in the demo:
SUPER HOP : Silhouette items opens up to items which are related to cryptic clues - first with pictures and then a final written clue,
SUPER HOP: Pictured items to locate to be returned and used in the same scene (used twice in the chapters I played)
SUPER HOP Interactive list items opening up to a final cryptic clues
SUPER HOP: Locate a specific amount of a certain item which gives you an item to open up another list of items to locate giving you a final inventory item
Mini HOP scenes with small amount of items to be located
PUZZLES: Very easy. Many are matching (between two items)but there is a variation of a pipe puzzle, sliding tile puzzle Variation of a pipe puzzle restoring electricity connecting a circuit , connecting wiring for a snowmobile, lock puzzle, math puzzle - connecting numbers to open a lid
NEW PUZZLE: manual dexterity - avoiding obstacles while riding a snowmobile
I recommend this game!
