The only good thing about this game was the cute graphics and the sound was not repulsive although it too is nothing unusual so I kept the sound turned off.
The bonus game had numerous possibilities depending on how you rolled the dice, and the autoplay feature was nice.
Unfortunately, this is another plain, ordinary slot machine game with nothing unusual or different to hold my attention.
I like slot machine games that offers games as bonuses to win game credits. This game does not offer this feature so I got bored very quickly.
This game is another slot machine game on my NEVER TO BUY list.
I don't recommend this game.

This is just another ordinary slot machine game, like all the rest by the creators of Slot Quest games. They're all extremely BORING with nothing unusual or different to hold my attention.
I forced myself to play this game for about 30 minutes to give this game a chance to improve but it didn't so I called it quits and deleted this game from my computer.
As with ALL Slot Quest games, this is just another slot machine game that is on my lNEVER TO BUY list.
Phantom, ya'll will have to do much better than this if you want me to buy one of your games.
I don't recommend this game.

Cute Graphics BUT .......

This game had very cute graphics, sound was the same ol' thing BUT there was nothing unusual or unique about this game to hold my interest.
I played about 30 minutes of this game then I had to call it quits. I met the first challenge #100 spins won# with hope that there'd be something more but there wasn't. The next challenge was to win 7,000 bonus points in the free spins, I won 130 bonus points then I called it quits and deleted this game from my computer.
I enjoy slot machine games when they offer something different and unique to hold my interest. This game is the same ol' thing so this game is a NO on my must own list.
If you enjoy slot machine games, try the free trial with an open mind then decide for yourself.
I'm in my late 50's, married, full time housewife by choice and mother of 17 children with 16 grandchildren with #17 due to be born in January 2013, I play computer games to relax at the end of the day after spending another hectic day cooking & baking, cleaning our large home, yard work, grocery shopping and more.
When I first installed the free trial of this game on my computer, I thought it would be like other solitaire games of his type (golf solitaire otherwise called tri-peaks solitaire# and I told my husband that I was playing it just to find out what it's like and that I didn't plan on ever buying this game.
When my free trial was almost over, I realized that this is not your ordinary game, it's much better than that, it's different than any other solitaire game of this type and I was completely hooked. I played an hour free trial at several other competitor game sites then I eventually bought this game.
I've owned this game for about 1 week now and play it almost on a daily basis but I'm stuck on a level that that I haven't been able to beat yet so I keep trying. I AM going to eventually beat this level no matter how long it takes. #I'm very stubborn.)
In The Chronicles of Emerland Solitaire, there are 10 rounds in each level. At the end of every level is a hidden object game. Some of the objects are challenging to find but not impossible and if needed, there is a hints button available. This feature is different than most solitaire games of this type.
Eventually there are 4 helpers to help you win each level with less than 5 cards remaining on the board which is a real plus for this game and is also different than most solitaire games of this type.
The sound is the same ol' thing so I keep the sound turned off when I play all computer games.
The graphics are very well done expecially where the evil warlock is concerned. That ugly evil face gives me the determination to beat this game.
If you're a solitaire lover like I am or you're just looking for a game that is fun, addictive, challenging and different from the rest, you owe it to yourself to play the hour free trial of this game.
I'm in my late 50's, married, the mother of 17 children, my 16th grandchild was just born 2 days ago with my 17th grandchild due in 3 months. I play computer games to relax after spending another day of cleaning our large home, talking to our grown children & our grandchildren on the phone, running errands, doing laundry, and much more.
This is what I call an ideal Match 3 game. There is a variety of ways you can match the items which I like.
This is a very easy game, very relaxing, and very enjoyable. With the money that you earn on each level, you buy a pumpkin patch, a cottage, a beehive & much more then upgrade each item. At the bottom of your screen you will see how many upgrades are available for each upgrade. There really is no time management involved that I like.
The graphics are rather cute and colorful. I think my grandchildren would really enjoy these graphics.
This is a game for all ages. My 14 month old granddaughter, for example, doesn't have the coordination to operate the mouse but with an older child or adult operating the mouse, my 14 month old granddaughter points to where each object should be moved to.
For me, this is a must own game. I love it. For an old lady like me to enjoy a game, that's saying something.
I recommend this game!

Better Game For Younger Players

I'm in my late 50's, married, with 17 children between us and 15 grandchildren with 2 more on the way in a few months.
I enjoy playing HOG games but this one didn't provide enough challenge for me, especially the Arcade games that provided NO challenge for me whatsoever so this was a disappointment for me. The hidden object games did not provide a challenge for me either. I didn't have to take my glasses off to find these objects as I usually have to do when I play HOG games.
Much younger folks would probably enjoy this game much more than I did.
The graphics look as though my 6 year old granddaughter or 5 year old grandson drew them, seriously, and the sound was the same ol' boring put me to sleep music so I turned off the sound entirely. Unless the music in games is foot stompin' bluegrass music that makes me want to get up & start cloggin', I'm not interested.
I think that everyone should play the free trial while keeping an open mind and then decide for yourself what you think of this game.
I personally do not recommend this game but this is entirely my opinion. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and everyone has their own likes & dislikes which is what makes this world fun. If everyone liked & disliked the same things this would be an extremely boring world.
I'm in my late 50's, married, a full time housewife, have 17 children that are grown and 15 grandchildren with 2 more expected in the next few months.
The entire premise is rather stupid not to mention the fact that anything centered around magic is forebidden by my church so I'm willing to bet that my church would be strongly against this game.
Shooting bats & turtles isn't my cup of tea" so-to-speak.
The music isn't foot stompin' bluegrass so I turned it off before it put me to sleep.
I had to force myself to play the entire full hour of the free trial because I actually wanted to quit after about 10 minutes.
I buy and play a LOT of Match 3 games but I absolutely positively will NOT be buying this game.
I do not recommend this game for adults or for children. This game could work against the morals & values that parents are trying to teach their children.

Ewww! I've played some horrendous games in my 58 years of life but this has got to be one of the worst. For me, it is Boring and Monotonous.
Even my 6 year old granddaughter despises this game, "Grandma, this game is STUPID. Uncle Phil should bury this game in his livestock manure pit." My 6 year old granddaughter loves to play a variety of different types of games from Arcade/Adventure to Match 3 to HOGs, even Mahjong so when she does not like a game, it's beyond awful.#
The object of this game is to manuver the cart, pick up gold and other objects and get so many points before your time runs out ... trying to do this however is next to impossible. My granddaughter and I spent one entire hour trying to pass Level One which neither of us were able to succeed at. My granddaughter who is usually quite good at this type of game.
I'm in my late 50's, married, full time housewife, the mother of 17 children and have 15 grandchildren with 2 more on the way later this year. I play computer games at night to relax after spending a hectic day cleaning our large home, cooking and baking, yard work, grocery shopping, running errands, and much more.
To me, Penguin Wars is just an "Angry Birds" wannabe, in other words, this game is trying to take after the game "Angry Birds" but lacks the cast of characters and the level of difficulty of the game "Angry Birds" so for me, this game is very boring and monotonous.
In Penguin Wars I got through to Level 26 without any difficulty whatsoever then my one hour trial ran out which, for me, is really saying something. (I start to run into difficulty in about level 10 of "Angry Birds.")
For me, Penguin Wars is not worth wasting my time playing and is absolutely positively not worth me wasting my money to buy.
Here is my recommendation for everyone who is reading this review: try playing the free one hour trial of this game while keeping an open mind then decide for yourself if you like Penguin Wars or not.
I don't recommend this game.

I've Played Better, I've Played Worse

I played the entire one hour trial and after doing so, I can't decide if I like this game or not, which is the reason for giving this game only 3 stars. In a way this game is rather boring and monotonous yet in a way it's kind of enjoyable.
My 6 year old granddaughter said, "Grandma, Finding Doggie is stupid, it gives me a headache." She's right, this game is rather stupid but I prefer to be not quite that harsh. She can play Farmscapes for hours, however. This is NOT Farmscapes or even similar to it.
The objective is to match identical items of 3 or more so the doggie can follow the path to the door.
I don't play any computer game with the sound on because the sounds from all computer games makes my daily headache worse.
I recommend that you try this game for an hour then decide for yourself whether you like it or not or be undecided like me. "I do and I don't."
