This isn't a bad game to while away an hour or so, but the scoring is impossible. I have read others' comments and all seem to agree...after the first two or three stages it is virtually impossible to get 3 stars. If one has the skill to do so they are probably not playing this type of game, they are too occupied building their own Time Machine or studying Quantum Physics! The history lesson is informative to a degree but I honestly wouldn't recommend it to any medium to expert players, just not challenging....except for the impossible scoring!
This second chapter in the trilogy is far better than Book 1. For one thing you can save a chapter part way through rather than play the whole chapter or lose your progress. When the hero opens the gold or the food the player doesn't have to stop and click on each piece to retrieve it. The storyline is improving with each chapter, and I for one, like the game. It is not my usual genre, but a great break from the usual horror/mystery/thriller. Can hardly wait for Book Three! Wonder what that will have in store for us.
Discover the fabulous secrets that a jungle hides in Adelantado Trilogy: Book One! Help the brave and noble officer, Don Diego De Leon, to find and save the lost expedition.
I enjoy playing the game but wish that I could exit without losing the game play for that particular chapter. There are just some times when one is forced to stop and I do wish there were the choice of saving so that I could come back to where I left off. Having to start all over again just because the dog had to go out is such a nuisance!
I recommend this game!

Now this game is completely different from the usual hidden object games. This requires some detective work and reading...no hidden objects. Just lots of checking out each and every scene for clues and articles which will be of use. Remember to read everything made available to you! I thoroughly enjoyed the challenge and as previously mentioned the mythology is fascinating. In fact it has led me to researching at the library to find out more about the basis for the game. I am waiting hopefully for a new game from Arberth Studios???
I love this game and the second one, Empress of the Deep:Song of the Blue Whale. It is challenging, the puzzles are great and the hidden object scenes attractive. Graphics are a treat and the whole idea is fascinating. I recommend it highly. In fact I go back and play it over and over, and considering I have well over 100 games that is a good sign!
I purchased this game some time ago and love it! In fact I go back and replay it time after time. By now I am getting pretty good at it!!! It is challenging, great graphics and the puzzles are pretty awesome. I have tried other Mystery Case Files in the series but think that this is the best by far. Great atmosphere and interesting storyline. Try it....hope you like it too!
