Nothing sinister or popping out to suck blood, just good easy fun. No, it's not a big challenge, but, it's not supposed to be. The HOG scenes are not a pass, you do need to look. Then the candy canes are really hidden well Then the unknown prize or penalty. And, finally, a mini-game that moves very easy to completion. All the technical stuff is taken care of; no nerve crushing music, no frustrating dialogue. Good for the kid in you or living with you. Thanks BFG and developer
I'm not much on 'human' characters but this is well done and not loaded with interaction with people infused into an animated scene. There is some searching and clicking bordering on frustration but what you need is quickly found. The hint button is a good assist. The mini-games are different and manageable. The HOGs are clear. The reason for the "loved it" ? It's just plain fun to travel through the great graphics and it wasn't so dark and sinister as we've seen a lot of lately. The raven even looks nice. The story line seems light but I'm anxious to follow to the end. I only played the trial so the review is based on 60 minutes of play.
I came back to finish my trial where I left off months earlier. I lost interest when I got stuck and discovered there wasn't a walkthrough. Sure I can sneak around and find one but want the convenience right here at BFG. Because of this the purchase would not be a complete package. I'm not giving up just stepping back for now.

This game hits right down the middle for me. Graphics OK (except for HOG), Story OK, Pace a little slow, Challenge OK. If I needed the credit, I would buy. HOG scenes can be a challenge due to eye mask describes 3D glasses, hair tongs describes a curling iron and I needed the HOG hint twice in 30 minutes because the scenes look dark and cloudy. Even with the hint highlight I couldn't see the object. There is a lot of travel to find objects. I may get too engaged in the game but a character needs a glass a water in this filthy asylum, UGH. I won't reject the game, may buy later.
Played for just 30 minutes and wanted to let you know this is a keeper. The movement is fast and just challenging enough. The storyline keeps you engaged. I've been frustrated with a lot of games because of the need to travel to many scenes to find a small piece of an unrelated puzzleand on and on. I hope the rest of the game is as good as the beginning.

This is in my buy file waiting on the new month. The story line moves to keep you intriqued. The sounds and graphics are clear. This is a game you can sit back and relax. The games are different but not frustrating. I got a little unnerved by the need to move all over finding pieces to play a game. It would be a nice change to get to a game and play without revisiting with pieces.
Played the trial and can't wait to buy. This game will really test your ability to think beyond the obvious. Can't review the music and such because I was really engaged in the game play. HOG easy to find, good mix of games, and game bright for easy viewing.
