It's simpler than the last HE game I played (which is Hope Diamond). The story is science-themed. It left me questioning certain parts so it's definitely not the best story line, but has a decent pace. The bonus game kinda threw me off even more. The puzzles are challenging and the HOPs are complicated enough to make you rack your brain.
All in all, a good game to spend a day at home.
I recommend this game!

Fun Factor: I enjoyed this game immensely, from the familiarity of the story, the whimsical and original elements, and surprises here and there.
Visual/Sound Quality: Very fitting for a Christmas game. It doesn't give you thrilling music - one that usually makes you anxious before the big scene - so it's quite relaxing.
Level of Challenge: I chose the middle difficulty and I think I chose right because I didn't feel like losing my head over the puzzles. The HOS are mostly simple. There are two puzzles that'll remind you of old games (one of them is actually hard).
Storyline: It's concise. We get a brief opening and do three good deeds, which means three stories. The first one would be familiar with most people I think. The second and third are pretty original. Though the second one made me doubt if it was a "good" deed. The third brought an unexpected surprise for me. The overall ending is very sweet.
CE content: The bonus game is so adorable! We get to help Fairy Godmother help Cinderella to go the ball. But both of them are cats! And so are the dressmaker and the prince. There are also mice as the Tailor Cat's assistants and horse.
There are two collectibles, puzzle pieces and Santa Claus/dwarf (?) statuettes; achievements that span over the bonus game and the Secret Room (It's unlocked after you finish the bonus game. It's an HOS but with morphing objects); concept art; screensavers (made from the collected puzzle pieces); wallpapers (I was mildly disappointed since most of the wallpapers only feature scenes from the first story and the bonus game); music; HOS and puzzles.
It's a very fun game and I would love to play it again. Enjoy!
I recommend this game!

Madame Fate was my favorite MCF game because of its creepy carnival theme and Fate's Carnival did not disappoint in the ambiance. I find this game quite challenging. I chose the second easiest difficulty, by the way. As many have said, some items in your inventory last long so it's harder to predict on what/when you'll use it. There are difficult puzzles, but there also easy puzzles that you can solve by clicking (but of course the puzzle would only activate if you find the right clue).
This game took me around 6 hours to finish and I was honestly exhausted. The second half of the game was harder for me. It involved a lot of running around. Sometimes the item I thought was meant for a certain puzzle was in fact a different thing. The comments helped me a lot. Story-wise, it was a bit confusing. I haven't played a lot of MCF lately, especially the ones related to Ravenhearst, so yeah.
The bonus content is pretty nice. I liked the bonus chapter and the solitaire game. A very worthy CE.
I recommend this game!

Since Christmas-themed games are my favorite, I did enjoy playing this game. I usually focus on the storyline and it disappointed me a little. The graphics are great and never strayed from the theme. Overall, this is a good holiday fun.
I recommend this game!

I've always liked Christmas-themed games. I like their colorful visuals and storylines that aren't as dark as usual HOPA games.

This game features a backstory behind the jolly man Santa Claus and his apparent and less jolly brother Varyk Claus. Other characters such as Mrs.Claus and Jack Frost are also involved, even the Snow Queen is mentioned. I enjoyed the universe of Yuletide Legends but the way the story unfolds felt fragmented. It doesn't flow nicely. I ended up wondering about other aspects of the story that were left untold. The fun decreases as I play because honestly I was busy being critical over the story. The ending wasn't clear/satisfying enough. And the voice overs and BGM need a little work. Just a little though.
The puzzles and HOS were fun and not too challenging. It's good and promising game, fit for the holidays.
I recommend this game!
