Initially I just couldn't get the hang of this game and left a bunch of gripey messages on the game forum. Problem was, this was not a type of game I was very familiar with and I like immediate success. It has a bit of a steep learning curve for the skills needed to excel at this game, like planning ahead on tasks to accomplish the stated goals for each level.
However, once I figured this out and learned the skills, this became a fun, self-challenging game that I play over and over when I want to wind down after a tough day at work.
I highly recommend this game. while not mentally challenging but good for someone wanting to keep their hand-eye-observation skills sharp.
I recommend this game!

I beta'd this game and fell in love with it. The graphics are lovely, clear and fun. The 'characters' of the fish are really cute in the way they interact. Very amusing. The play is challenging and moved quickly. There are lots of options for decor and added fish; a very well-produced game.
But really, a CE? This would be just great as a regular game. I really see no need to charge a CE price for this lovely game.
I recommend this game!

Such a nice change from ghosts, vampires, lost uncles and mental institutions! I adore SciFi and so was anxious to see how this HOG/Adventure was and was delighted. Gripping story with great visuals, well-paced suspense and enough tech to satisfy a long-time SciFi reader. A few "oh really, she's not going to..." moments but can't share without spoilers which I won't do.
I guess I'm going to have to buy the CE since I enjoyed this one so much. Very quickly recharging hints, scenes with good detail, HOGs with decently sized objects, hard enough to be a challenge but not frustrating.
A thoroughly gripping game.
I recommend this game!

This game kept me at my computer, neglecting my work! The story-line, beautiful graphics and clever quizzes and HOGs are really top notch.
I went back and played it twice to be able to relish the game and to pick up *all* the strawberries; no spoiler, just a heads-up that if you get them all, you can read an additional chapter in this story.
After playing this, I went and bought the two prior games. Goodness, what a disconnect! The first one had no voice-over, was very cartoonish and was room after room of HOG and letter reassembly; all ok but certainly not up to the standard of the 3rd game. I completed it simply to get the first chapter of the storyline.
I also purchased the second one and there was a huge leap of progress in art quality, sound (although the sound when you find an object made me want to scream after awhile) and game play. Seems like a game developer that is learning as they go and growing exponentially. Well, if the "The Blacksmith's Daughter" is the result of that learning process, I look forward to more great games from them. This one was certainly top-notch in my book.
