If you love Alice in Wonderland, you will be enchanted by this game!
Pros: The graphics are colorful, charming and the characters are well drawn. If you are an Alice trivia nut, there are a ton of "Interesting Facts" about Alice in all of her variations. The HO's are straight list types and some of the objects are very small and/or blend into the background. The Hint is helpful in the HO's, mildly so in the game and recharges quickly.
Cons: No map, but you will not need it. No voice overs, so there is a ton of reading. There is no serious challenge to this game and there is much hand holding. There is no volume control. You can only turn the music and sounds off. The music is charming, but repetitive.
Overall, very charming and relaxing! The hour trial flew by!

This was a delightfully twisted and quirky game.
The puzzles were not too difficult and I found myself skipping a few just because they were multiple steps and I did not have the patience.
My only compliant is that the game was too short for my taste. There were only 2 frog princes to rescue and it felt like I was just getting into this quirky world when the game ended.

I knew as soon as I saw this game that this was a "buy" for me! I have all of the previous MT games and love them. So glad that the little dog Elf is back!
My review is based on the demo (so far) played on Casual.
This game does not disappoint! The story is mildly creepy with overtones of genetic experimentation and possibly something supernatural.
There are HO scenes, but not too many and they are mildly interactive.
There are puzzles and they are not too difficult and are skippable.
There are poker chips to collect to make purchases in the Dog Store. These are items to purchase for your little dog Elf.
There are morphing creatures to collect as well.
The map is a nice feature and shows where you still have tasks to complete and will move you to a location just with one click.
The music is good, but i turned it to low. The voice overs and cutscenes are done really well and immerse you in the story.
If you are a fan of HOPA games, then this game will be well worth your time!

I bought the game because I really liked the previous two games in this series. So far, I've played for about 1.5 hours and I am about halfway through the game.
Story: Not as engaging or interesting as the previous games. Touti is all grown up and is now the Pharaoh. The priest finds a scroll that says the 18th dynasty will fall of a certain number of temples are not built in 4 months. They run around Egypt building said temples. Oh, and the architect is sick so you take hims place. That's about it.
Game Play: not as smooth as the previous games. I felt like I was doing a ton more clicking that was needed. For example- to collect rent you click on the house, the priest makes the rent appear and you have to click on the money to collect it.
One cool improvement- your workers stand around after a task is finished instead of returning to the sanctuary. This is an advantage when you have to harvest trees multiple times. No time is wasted waiting for the worker to get to the tree.
You earn a certain amount scarab beetles for making gold (15), silver (10) or bronze (5) time.
Challenge: It's OK. I found the first few levels very easy. A few levels in you get the option to use your scarab beetles to purchase a bonus for each level. The game tells you that you will need these bonuses to make Gold time and suggest that you buy the most expensive bonus for 30 beetles.
Sound/Visual: The music is very, very similar to the first game. The graphics on the map are pretty plain. The graphics in the game are comparable to the first game.
Overall, there is nothing dazzling about this game. It's a pretty standard TM game.
A very nice HOPA that is not too dark or gruesome.

I played the full demo, which was just under a hour.
The story line is somewhat familiar- you and your twin sister were sent to an orphanage at a young age and you have no memory of your parents or where you came from. You have matching birthmarks and share strange dreams/visions. Your sister Belle believes the visions were clues to your past and now she is missing. You must follow her to a creepy town locked in a struggle between good and evil to find Belle and the secrets to your past.
The graphics and voice overs are excellent. There are three modes of game play- Casual, Adventure and Hard. There is a Journal and and Inventory. I played the Casual mode and the hint recharged very quickly.
The HO scenes are the usual jumble of items and some items are hidden. Hidden items are marked in yellow and are usually all are found in the same hidden place. I had no issues finding the items needed and finished all of the HO scenes in the demo in under 1min 30 seconds. You earn coins for the HO scenes, which you can use to purchase items in the store. The store items are not for use in the game; rather they are concept art and the like.
If you are not a fan of HO scenes, you have the option to play a Match 3 game instead. I did not play the Match 3, so I cannot say if they were easy or difficult.
There are also purple magic flowers hidden throughout the game and if you click on them, you earn coins.
The mini games were nothing new and not very difficult. If you need a code, it will be recorded in your journal once you find it. You can also use the hint feature in the mini games.
This game would be great if you are looking for something with a bit of challenge but won't twist your brain in knots. I enjoyed this game and the story line, so I'll probably be purchasing it.

Wow, my mind is blow! This game rocks!
Plot- you are a journalist sent to a town to interview the mayor and find out why he is hiding an alien object.
You have to walk around town, speak with the town folk and complete tasks for them.
You have a journal that keeps track of all of your tasks and a map of the city.
The journal is cool- you can flip through page by page or go to the Contents to see a list of all tasks. If you need a hint, you can click on the Hint button and it will give you a clue.
The map is useful too. If you place a flag where you want to go, the map will give you white arrows to follow so you get there quick. Trust me, this will be your best friend in this game!
I suggest keeping a pad and pen handy to jot down what house number or location where you have a task to complete, since this information is not captured in the journal.
Keep your eyes peeled as you walk around town for objects to pick up. You'll need them at some point!
So far I am up to over 100 tasks and about 2/3 are completed. I have been playing for over 3 hours!

This game looked sweet and charming and I really wanted to like it. The story line is nothing new- brother and sister get separated and the sister has to walk around town, speak with towns people and solve puzzles they give her to get clues to find her brother. Here's what I liked- the graphics are charming and the story is cute. What spoken dialog there is is well done.
That's it for the likes.
Here's what disappointed me- 1. The game is mislabeled as a HO game. It is a puzzle game and few of the puzzles happen to be HO. 2. Way too much dialog to read. You can skip it, but you'll missing something important. 3. There is a tutorial, but it is unhelpful because it does not clearly state that you have to click the compass in the top right to see where you can move to. 4. You have to earn hint points to be able to get a hint or skip the puzzle. If you are out of hint points, there are bonus games you can play to earn more. 5. Some of the puzzles resemble the word problems you used to get in grade school math. And they are just as annoying! 6. Every puzzle has instructions, but they are long and wordy. 7. Once you have typed in or set up your answer to the puzzle, you have to click submit to find out if you are correct. 8. The music is annoying!
Overall, not the best 45 minutes I have ever spent on a game.

I played the entire hour of the free trial, so I lasted longer than many reviewers. I agree with other reviewers that this game feels like a throwback.
The story is that a woman hires a detective to find out why her boyfriend suddenly is able to buy expensive presents that she had found receipts for (but hasn't received from her boyfriend).
First, I suggest that you use the tutorial. It basically tells you what the icons mean and how to interact throughout the game. Also, it mentions to click the magnifying glass in the bottom right to see the list of objects that need to be found.
Every location has a HO component. The list is presented as pictures and if you hover over the picture, you will get a description of the item. The magnifying glass keeps track of the number of items found and counts down to zero as items are found. Every HO scene provides one object that you need to use elsewhere.
There are sparkles on the areas where you will need an object to interact and.the sparkles are very easy to overlook.
The map is the nicest feature of this game. You can click on an area and be there immediately.
There are some puzzles, but they are not much of a challenge and you can skip them immediately (no waiting for the skip button to charge).
There are many areas where you take a picture as evidence. You have to click on the snapshot to go back to the main scene. I can only assume that you (the detective) will present these to the girlfriend at some point as evidence of what the boyfriend is up to.
The translations could be better as well. The grammar is atrocious and some items are labeled strangely- for example I hovered over an item in the HO list that looked like a broom and was told that it was a "besom"
Overall, this is an OK game. If you are looking for a game that is mildly interesting and mildly challenging, then this is for you.
This game has lovely graphics and a interesting story line. The mini puzzles are not super hard and there is a skip button. There is not a ton of hand holding in this game and the hint button will point you in the right direction. There are no penalties for using the hint button or skipping the puzzles. The HO scenes are not cluttered and it is not too difficult to find what you need. The objects are shown in silhouette at the bottom of the screen. My only complaint is that the game is not longer. I did purchase this game and I had completed it an about 2 hours total, and that included the 1 hour free trial. I kept hoping for a twist, but the plot of the story is pretty straight forward- help the Witch stop the curse that trapped her in a tree. You do have to switch between the real world and the shadow world, however this game is not creepy or scary in the least!

Similar to Island Tribe, Roads of Rome and the MKFTP series. It is challenging, but not overly so. I have played between 15-20 levels and I have gotten the gold on every level except two. You definitely need to look at the level before starting to plan your strategy and the goals for each level are very clear. Graphics are well done and the music is not too annoying. Overall, a fun game!
