Plenty of long gameplay and interactivity, fantastic visuals, and lots of complicated, unusual puzzles that I haven't seen in any hidden object game before. A good buy!
I love time-management games--and animals!--but this one has really turned out to be a disappointment. The first thing is that it's just really too easy and boring. A (small) variety of timed mini-games woven into each level are creative but ultimately just too simple to be entertaining. There is also a bonus game between levels but like everything else in the game, it's super easy and moves slowly. As for the characters, there are very few (and each comes with the same pet every time) so things get boring fast; also, they're are all distractingly bizarre. The men are different from one another but the women--both customers and employees--are identical with the exception of different hair, eye colours, and clothing, and they stand around the same ridiculous pose (think: modelling for a bathing suit calendar) regardless of what they're doing. It's annoying but I'd still definitely be able to overlook it if the game was worthwhile...but it's just too slow and too simple. One of the only BigFish games I've regretted purchasing, and I've bought a lot of them!
I don't recommend this game.

Distracting little game following the standard time-management theme with lots of levels and an appropriate degree of challenge. There are also "survival" and "relaxed" modes which appear on the main menu and unlock once you get enough points. The visuals are good and though the customers' voices can be a little annoying, I'm enjoying it quite a bit.
I downloaded Bird's Town on a whim and ended up really enjoying it! It's a nice, relaxing, time-waster and there are seriously a ton of levels--I'm not sure how many because I haven't managed to get to the end. Thus far I'm up to level 150 at least!
This game started out great and kept getting better and better right up until the end. The storyline is genuinely interesting and the graphics (with the exception of the human characters, which were kinda robotic-looking, but not distractingly so) were gorgeous and spooky. There were tons of puzzles of different varieties, many of which I'd never even seen before, and the hidden object scenes themselves were better than those in a lot (all?) of all the other HOGs I've played. I never once got bored.
This game took several hours to beat and just when I kept thinking that I was reaching the end, a whole new level would open up! It was great.
I recommend this game to anybody interested in birding, birdwatching, or simply learning more about birds and nature. The graphics are beautiful and the soundtrack is really lovely, and there are also recordings of real bird songs. The levels provide different types of challenges and new species of birds (all of which are rendered accurately) to photograph in a variety of environments. Even once you've finished the storyline itself, there is plenty of other stuff to do!
The graphics and visuals are beautiful and spooky, as is the soundtrack. There's a lot of variety in terms of the puzzles (including the hidden object scenes), which aren't hugely difficult but are challenging enough to be fun. I'm glad I bought this one!
I bought Mystery of Joyville after playing (and loving) another PuppetShow game, Lost Town. This one just wasn't as good, though. For one, I finished it in less than 3 hours--pretty paltry compared to Lost Town, which took me much longer than that--and the puzzles and hidden object sequences were just too simple to really enjoy. (I wasn't looking for anything overly complicated, but there should be at least some challenge.)
The visuals were great and it was fun while it lasted, but I was pretty disappointed by this one and am sort of sorry I didn't spend my money on a different game.
