I would never had bought this game had I not needed to use a coupon and no other games were part of my genre or I already had at the time.
Though this game is alright (particularly since one can toggle between relaxed and timed but clicking on the Options tab), this game had NOTHING TO DO with the ORIGINAL Mystika game.
The original Mystika game was with a girl who ascertains that her father had wanted her to "fight" her own sister that had been banished and ends with this girl gaining all the powers necessary but was now on banished sisters' side and vowed that father was going to have to face them both together.
Mystika 2 had NOTHING to do with Mystika in that all you were doing was building up and upgrading a farm.
When I first became of these games, I USED to PURCHASE games from ANOTHER site than BFG and THIS GAME was one of my purchases.
I no longer own this game as the OTHER game site TOOK all my games -- didn't know that ANY company could take back WITHOUT repayment any purchase but this one did when I didn't return often enough to replay purchased games -- hence my sole reason for using the OTHER game site is for walkthroughs when BFG doesn't provide one. So why does BFG call this a new game?
This game does become VERY CHALLENGING later on so TRY to get ALL the available power-ups possible BEFORE getting the last fragmented piece on a level and become VERY STINGY in using said power-ups as they can be saved from level to level.
Starting about the middle of the last row, I was having a very difficult time in getting 3 stars in 2 of the stages of 1 particular level and my odds were not improving; except for the UNDO button, I had no other "power-ups" with which to use, no extra cards, and no whack-a-mal options.
I decided to take a gamble and see if I could REPLAY the 1st row of levels WITHOUT my 3-star scoring changing and YES, I was able to do so. I REFUSED to use ANY of the power-ups that I'd obtained (including the turn over all board cards which was EXTREMELY helpful in one of the stages that I was having a difficult time with), extra cards and the whack-a-mal beaver and even though I scored a 1 or 2 star within that stage of the level, my 3-star score NEVER changed!! HOWEVER, if you did leave a stage within a level that had 1or 2 stars and accomplished the feat of obtaining 3 stars, the game WILL ALLOW the scoring to change to 3 stars.
I only had to repeat a partial of the 1st row (quit after getting the power-up that allowed me to turn over all the board cards) and was able to successfully complete the last row with all stages of each level with 3 stars; I would've, however, been willing to repeat the gameplay of that 1st row -- had it become necessary.
Just an FYI if anyone is as determined as I was in accomplishing the feat of obtaining 3 stars in all the stages of all of the levels.
Deep in the heart of an enchanted forest, a forbidden love blooms. Guide the human Eveline as she sets out to rescue her beloved from the clutches of a tyrant.
I have to say that I THOROUGHLY enjoyed this game and the storyline is VERY BELIEVABLE; however, the bonus play stopped short of revealing exactly what happened to the werecat carrying the baby.
An early note in the beginning of the game explains how the baby was found but also appears to infer that it was not the same hunter who mortally wounded the werecat; so it begs the question -- so how did the werecat become mortally wounded?
The game play was easy to follow due to several factors:
*the map is interactive and not only informs you as to where you can perform tasks but you can jump to said area(s)
*as long as you read the notes and the messages above the areas wherein you need to perform future tasks, you'll pretty much instantly know what to do with a newly acquired inventory item
*you DON'T have to hold onto any inventory item for what seems like an eternity before using it/them allowing the possibility of forgetting where to use it/them
*each inventory item is labelled but BE CAREFUL as I've noticed a few times that I ALREADY had an item in my inventory and didn't know when nor how it ended up in my inventory so check it frequently
*the dragon hint works very well and recharges quickly BUT you can recharge him faster if you feed him the glowing yellow balls that are floating about in certain areas AND you can return to an area where you saw the glowing ball WHILE you're also following his directions as to where to go and do next AND he'll also highlight the inventory item you need to use; there were a couple of areas that the map didn't clarify the EXACT area wherein a task needed to be done
*the potions are EXTREMELY easy to find (don't even need to worry about what to look for) and to make as once the pot is filled with the necessary items, the pot will activate and as long as you follow the WRITTEN instructions (NOT the diagram), you won't have any problems. HOWEVER I did find myself stumped with the 1st arrow as to how to cut an item (start from the other end of the arrow) because it did NOT want to allow me to do the cutting; FORTUNATELY, there is a "skip this step" at the top of the screen and so I did and from that point on, I never had the problem again.
As I suspected (when am I going to listen to ME?) if your score is TOO LOW, you CANNOT unlock the next stage -- for me the NEWBIE stage. I've replayed several of the previous stage's levels and it doesn't matter what I do nor how fast I do it, I STILL only attain 1 star.
I mean, come on, you can't even get 3 stars when you're forced to do the tutorial on the first level? I've NO IDEA how this game expects you to get 3 stars when you can't even earn it with the tutorial and I barely was able to get 1 star and believe it or not, this game is NOT HARD to play!!!!!! I've played harder mahjongg games.
You only have so many cards in the deck and when you've got octupus and frozen cards and BEFORE you can even get 2 or 3 cards OFF the board, you've already gone through 5-6 cards FROM the deck.
When you come close to clearing the board (you've got to get 4 Perfects and $20k#, you can't do so because you've ALREADY turned over 99% of the cards from the deck in which the very card#s) is bygone.
This is a challenging game which I did NOT mind but it became ridiculous at the end.

I LOVED the fact that you can toggle between the RELAXED and TIMED versions of each level and NOT have to start from Level 1 but STAY on the level that you're working on.
This ability made this game a WHOLE LOT more fun to play as there were 3 instances wherein I just could not (after 3 attempts per level# come close to beating the level within the time frame.
If you feel that you can't complete the level within the timed frame #after losing again), then go to your Menu Options and tic the RELAXED version and return to your level. Once completed and you desire to continue the game in timed version, just go back to your Menu Options and tic the TIMED button. MEnr56
I recommend this game!

Tri-Peaks 2: Quest for the Ruby Ring
Complete hands and collect artifacts for the Museum in this globe-trotting solitaire adventure.
I have to say that I find this game relaxing but at times VERY ANNOYING:
*10 deck cards but not one of them comes close to matching the remaining board card
*if you have a choice (say 10 or jack) to pick as your 1 of 2 remaining board card, at times it STILL doesn't matter as NONE of the deck cards would've matched EITHER board card to clear the board
*Ally trap -- can't speed up the walking guy to continue playing but the clock is STILL ticking away; rarely have I "lost" her but it still is annoying
*gold trunk is full of coins rather than a relic which prolongs the "stay" in a museum area; when you've got 14 relics to find for one area, IMHO, all gold trunk items should be relics
Again I DO enjoy this game as it is basically relaxing but at times it's annoying as it becomes also boring at times.
This is a difficult game and I don't like it at all!! I do NOT appreciate having to RE-DO levels that I've already beat just because I didn't beat another level; this game is hard enough without having to RE-DO what's already been accomplished. Wiped this game right off my computer and will NOT ever be re-visiting it.
This is a good game but I gave this game a low grade because of the hint button:
*does NOT recognize a task that you're unable to complete because you've not yet acquired the necessary inventory object
and
*does NOT show you where a part goes allowing you to complete a task (unless in a HOS scene# so that you can move on in the game.
I also gave this game a low grade due to the fact that despite my having a widescreen monitor, there was an area that I needed to go to but didn't even know about it #until the hint button showed me) due to the fact that said area was OFF to far to the right of my screen!!!
