But I Love the weird park series:)
When I downloaded the trial to be honest, I really had sort of low expectations (like how can they top the last installment? Or ....is this going to be like puppetshow -& do I care?etc) However, what a pleasant surprise! It's really well done and love the puzzles,hogs and voices. This game's so much fun and a relief from the letdowns of recent CE games. BTW: Thanks pennmom, I usually am not disappointed when I follow your suggestions:'P<3

I downloaded this (as well as the first 9 Clues*recommend*) and I'm quite pleased with this! I've been looking for great detective games and I couldn't stop playing this one! I won't give away anything --certainly this is worth a dl if you're looking for games with suspense and a good script/atmosphere/voices/puzzles (no hand holding-!-- & no SG) also this second installment was 7 hours for me! Hidden object scenes were clear (sometimes I had to look up meanings of certain items but more fun for me!) and were relative with what you needed to proceed. It was like playing a movie almost and was at the edge of my seat all throughout.
I've played all of the games by AM but this and the first Enigmatis are maybe my faves. I hope to see a lot more to come!! Thanks Devs! *one happy fishie*:^D

I recommend this game!
Mr. Turner was surrounded by people who could all benefit from his death, but who actually murdered him? Play the detective in this classic whodunit mystery!

In comparison to the 1st game Strings of Deception : in this new installment colors are brighter and crisper (still certain objects are too small);less hog than first, and unfortunately way shorter than the other (clocked at 6 1/2 hrs- I couldn't stop playing it-storyline was fun; loved finding jewels ;fingerprints)...In contrast,this game is interesting but didn't keep my interest for longer than 30mins. Gotta be honest: Puzzles were more like a chore;ihos were tedious. all the way towards the abrupt ending. Get this one as a DD or credit. PS: * I saw that there may be a CE version of this--IDK?*

I say this is one of the best sleeper games I've played! I started out with low expectations but ended up having tons of fun!:) I miss these kinds of games where there was CE quality in an SE. If you like games such as these look at side for my fave "surprise!" game (other than Dreamland & Abandoned Asylum) Have fun and keep playing!
I recommend this game!
Dr. Sigmund Fraud has been released from the asylum, and is up to his old tricks. Help Detective Ravenwood track him down!

OK: I love creepy games and this is one of my faves. If you don't like psychological horror genre you will prob freak out- so go play something else "happy". It's not for everybody. ANYWAYS-- It was really good the puzzles were tough ( wish there weren't SO many and more of adventure game play). The story line could've been bit better but I'm waiting for the devs to make a third (crosses fingers) >;'D

I am amazed at the negative reviews for this- it's really a great HOG that yes, has older graphics than say: Fate's Carnival (latest in the installments)...But as a beginner way back this was very challenging ( to the point of hair-pulling )- The storyline has been repeated in SO many games thereafter but ....Years ago, I just had to rescue Emma no matter what (oh, how many hours I spent on mind-raking puzzles!) LOL! This got me started with BF in the first place.Great, memorable game- Luv it!!!!

I'm sorry but I really couldn't get into the game play, which was as stated in title: very frustrating. How you charge up the medallion is just unnecessary after the first time;becomes tedious. The storyline is not original but it is a graphically beautiful game. But personally I had to force myself to complete the game because of sheer boredom. I love animals so that is the only reason why I finished the bonus ( to get all the cute rewards/extras....which are mostly over-rated....was thinking you could get items for a dog play area--that would've been great like in latest Dark Tales.
Maybe, personally I'm on a mission to find a really good detective/ mystery game and am biased atm: A game as visually flawed as Entwined:Tales of Deceit was far more engrossing. These are one of my absolute favorite devs (why I gave 4 stars) and I feel let down a bit...Hopefully next try will be even better:) I'm sure others will disagree and that's fine enjoy yourself and have a great time playing-I'm recommending this for those who like match three and brain teasers. Good luck:)

Bought this little gem at another store, I just never got a chance to review on BF. It was so fun and had a great mix of macabre history and colorfully set in one of my fave places New Orleans. It is not really scary *but I love eerie games*, just a good mystery hog with an great storyline. Yes, it is short but will constantly keep you on your toes and that's worth it. See... Originally, it came with another game, "Dr Lynch Grave Secrets" (but it never worked for me/ store refused to fix glitch). Note-Always buy from BF!!:)
I do wish the devs would make another addition like this one as well.
Deadtime Stories is a great game to get (esp since it is a DD today to fill up your card-*wink*)..You won't be disappointed! Have fun:)

I beta tested this in July and once I saw it had been released--immediately bought! With different levels to play, VO+ text,crisp HO scenes/atmosphere, puzzles,adventure and a great creepy storyline-- What's not to like? Going to play again:)
I recommend this game!
Be the detective: Catch the killer in the present and the past!

Okay, having finished this in about 3 days...(took breaks) I must say this was one of the hardest games and yet totally fun that I've played in a long time. (Maybe since Dorian Gray?) It was so fun I had to keep playing. Here are the specs:
-VO + written
-Great sound
-2 difficulty levels
-Achievements
-2 Items to find: badge and dream catcher
-variety of puzzles
-engaging storyline(although not exactly historically accurate..>Still good!)
-long game, took me 7 hours and about 1 Bonus
-you have to think!
-H0 scenes are clear,smart and interactive (watch for collectables in them!)
-great SE
-We get to see Samantha Swift all grown up (for a bit anyway!)
-Great who dun it...with a twist:)
So I am very happy that I bought this one!
I suggest trying it if you haven't already done so. Hope there will be more adventures with Angelica!
