If you like Alice, Dragon Tales, etc., you'll probably like this one. I was enjoying it until it stuck on level 37 - character can move, but the game says it's blocked from the route. Route is wide open, but it won't recognize it somehow. Can't get the weapon needed. So, can't complete the game. Not enough people playing to know if it's an issue on my end or not, so here I sit. Reported the technical issue, but they don't have any suggestions. Disappointing. Can't really recommend if you can't finish.
I love me a good point and click adventure game, and with escape room features? Sign me up, every time. This held my attention, it was pretty easy as far as these types of games go, so don't be afraid you'll be stuck. However, got the demo to see if I'd like this one (I sometimes get motion sick with 3D games lol) and I didn't realize that I was on the last chapter. I wanted to finish as I was reasonably entertained, purchased it, but turns out I had literally 2 mins to go to the end. What a waste! No CE chapters, extra adventure. So, for my money, would be fine as an SE, but very disappointed to waste CE money on this. Should have read more reviews first. (But this is the reason I've been playing more on other platforms - Big Fish, increase the range but don't soak us on games).

I liked the idea, but seemed at points like this was two different games mashed together. Enjoyed the extra fun character abandoned on the island - bit of humour. But got really tired of the repetitive tasks. So its a mixed bag for me.

I liked the choose your own adventure and that the choices actually made a difference in the outcome of the game. Fun and a few challenges. There was one collectible that was hard to get if you immediately clicked on the dialog, and no way to go back to get it but to replay. Other than that, lots of fun

Yes, it's not for eeryone, but I really love these kinds of game - Fetch, Leaves, this one. If you like those, you'll probably like this one. I wish there were more of them and they were released here earlier (this was originally released in 2017 but just showed up on BFG). It's a nice alternative to what's feeling like a lot of really repetitive adventure and puzzle games lately, and I feel like these little games coming up are why I hang onto my club membership.
It's quick to get the hang of the arrows and space bar navigation. Some of the levels, especially the last chapter, are pretty challenging to complete, and you have to be dextrous. It's an easy one to play a bit, take a break, and come back to in order to beat those levels. Nice graphics, music, and historical text elements.

I've played all the GT games, and some have been better than others for sure. I'm glad Richard is back, I find his snarky wit amusing, but his dialog was not up to the usual sassiness and was often difficult to hear with the echo effect. I found, overall, this game was too easy and a bit boringin terms of challenge, suspense and storyline. The map worked inconsistently, especially in the bonus chapter. I don't like that I can't go back and find collectibles I might have missed, and I prefer HOPs that have an alternate puzzle choice when they just get too tedious. Overall, it was fine, but definitely not great. Feels likes it might have been rushed out the door.
I was enjoying this - some new features, like that it tells you now how many hidden objects there are to find. But, on both levels 8 and 9, I was unable to select a pile of wood that needs to be removed. On level 8, was able to select the next obstacles and move forward, but can't on level nine (wood pile blocking road to crystal). Very frustrating, so hoping a restart and/or a patch is forthcoming.

Quite liked this game overall, and had similar comments to other reviewers. Definitely annoyed by the bonus game glitches, as other described not being able to pick up the strange device. I understand there was a fix on other game sites - can BigFish please update?
