Love this game! It is more challenging than the other similar games . The lines disappear after the color is filled in, so the shading is excellent quality. I do these pictures after I've had a hard workday and they are quite relaxing. I do wish the developers would do more games like this one with more pictures and greater difficulty.
I couldn't stand more than a few minutes into the demo before I uninstalled this game. Whatever possessed the developers to defile Austen's work with vampires? I have seen movies with excellent actors performing Pride and Prejudice that I watch over and over and still enjoy. This game is not for me.
I buy these games every year and I enjoy them, but I refuse to buy the collector's editions because they are not worth the price. I do feel that if Big Fish and the developers are going to release a CE first, it should be done earlier so that the SE can be released before the holidays. People want to play Christmas games during the Christmas season, not two or three weeks later. Also, the CE versions should have more collectibles, maybe morphing items, to justify the cost.

I was really hesitant to buy the CE version of this game, but BF had a sale and it is worth it with all the extras. I enjoy this game more than most, the scenes are clear and most objects are easy to find. I found the mini-games on this version even better than the others in this series. I very much enjoy a relaxing, old-fashion type HO game, sometimes I get tired of chasing villains and just want to relax in my travels. I will add a warning; This game is addictive.
This is a decent hidden object game with nice art to view after each HO puzzle. The puzzles are simple but fun with bonus items to find in sequential order. All objects were fairly easy to spot but I did enjoy the trial and purchased the game. I don't know yet how long this game is, since I never have time to play an entire game, but it is a good, relaxing game to enjoy.
I love this series, Park Ranger is my favorite and I buy all of these games. I like the fact that they are fun and beautiful, but they are NOT CE worthy and I will not buy this one unless it is released as a standard edition.
Based on the demo, I didn't find this game worth buying. I didn't like the format, and I found it quite boring. It's just the same thing over and over. I believe it could have been a much better game, but not in this format.
After reading some of the other reviews I decided to try this game and I'm really glad I did. As stated by others, there is no hand-holding for this game, but I enjoy having to think about and look for what I have to do next. This game is certainly a challenge. The graphics and scenes are clear and well done. There are surprises, such as nasty things (or People) reaching out to grab you, pictures changing suddenly, or looking into a closet and finding yourself in a maze. There are clues to help you along, but you have to pay attention to everything. I love it, and will add it to my collection. Not for the insecure or easily scared, but while it is a challenge, it is not so difficult that I just gave up and said no way. The objects can be found and puzzles are not too difficult to be solved. Overall, this is a very different game, but interesting and well worth trying.
This game has good potential but still needs work. I enjoyed the story of the young girl who was kidnapped and has to find her geisha mother. The voices are obviously not Japanese, but still okay. The story is what caught my interest and some of the scenery is beautiful. Pros: 4 game modes, including custom Map, not interactive, and journal Achievements and collectibles (origami) Interactive HOs and different types of HOs Cherry Blossoms to indicate HOs Puzzles were interesting, I skipped a couple just to get back to the story Storyline held my attention to the end of the trial
Cons: Drawn scenes not always the best The game didn't always flow as smoothly as it should It wasn't always clear what the next step should be
Overall, I like it and will probably buy it. I think it's a diamond in the rough, with more development it could have been a really great game, but it's still worth trying. And I would like to find out if our runaway heroine finds her mother.

A friend invites you for a hot air balloon ride but insists you bring your grandmother's mirror. When a storm sweeps you off to a magical island, you are separated. To save him you have to collect jewels for your mirror and defeat the evil witch, and so you adventure begins. This is not the same old SE game, these devs have been listening to us. The game grabbed my attention from the first moments. The graphics are clear and the cut-scenes are good, and I did really like the raccoon hint system. The music is different, I usually turn music off or very low, but this music is nice with a better beat. Some of the mini-games are the same, but with a twist and some are different, not difficult but interesting. All are great. I found several puzzles and mini-games within the first few minutes of gameplay. The adventure is interesting with some backtracking. I didn't stop to check out a map. The best part of this game is that there are achievement and collectables, replayable mini-games, etc., usually reserved for CE's. These are my impressions after only a few minutes of trial gameplay, can't ramble on, I have to buy the full version.
