I felt compelled to write a review after playing and completing this game. Some reviewers gave this game a lower star rating claiming it was because there was no timed option. However, if you don't care about earning stars, the clock keeps going until you finish.
Personally, I liked this game. It became more challenging as the game went on and you had to use your brain to plan your strategy. I don't pay much attention to story lines so I'm indifferent to that aspect. If you enjoy a good TM game, give it a shot beyond the 10th level. Enjoy!

I completely disagree with the previous reviewer. While at the beginning it did seem like it could be a boring game, I played beyond a few levels and finished the demo. It became increasingly more difficult, but not unachievable. The game is also very generous in the upgrades and will even allow more money to be earned when replaying a level.
The story so far is the girl wanted to open her studio in the country and invited all the big stars to attend. Nobody wanted to go to the country so she opened them anyway. After 15 levels, they haven't furthered the story, but I'm happy they don't start every level with a monologue. Stories can become tedious when every level is delayed for story telling.
Try the game yourself and play beyond a few levels. It may or may not be your cup of tea, but you'll never know if you don't give it a fair shot.
Cathy is chasing the dreams of others instead of her own. But once she discovers her passion, her strength will be put to the test. Will Cathy stay true to herself?
I'm not understanding the poor reviews. I completed the game on casual with 3 stars on every level. Yes, it was very challenging, but I thought that was the point. I think too many people have grown so attached to Emily that they really didn't give Cathy a chance. The graphics looked the same as the Delicious series and the game play was the same. Cathy did move slow at first, but there is an upgrade to make her move quickly. When the level became too challenging, I moved to the next levels to get upgrades, then went back to complete the more difficult levels.
It was not CE worthy. Big Fish should be ashamed because I feel cheated. It was 60 levels, no strategy guide and nothing extra. However, I'm giving it 5 stars to make up some of the bad reviews. Play the game and see if it's for you, but wait for the SE version. Enjoy!
