Yes the graphics are very good and I loved that it was a 3D game; however, the story started out alright and then slowly deteriorated in quality until it was downright disappointing at the end. When it came to the puzzles, well I just don't feel that finding the puzzle should be part of the challenge let alone getting the darn thing to work. The hotspots are fickle and enough to make you scream. While most puzzles you could solve with some thought, there were some that just made no sense whatsoever.
All in all, I would have to say I would not recommend this game.
I don't recommend this game.

What an excellent game! If you are accustomed to 3D gaming, you should have no problems with navigation or motion sickness. Use RIGHT MOUSE BUTTON for inventory!
The immersion level of this game makes it stand apart from any other game I have ever played on BF.
Rich, detailed graphics; eery music and a story that leaves you wanting to know more - to the point that even tho you are scared to open that door, you just can't stop yourself. This game will leave your heart racing and keep you on your toes.
**If you are really brave, wait until night to play. Turn off all the lights and slap on those headphones for that extra immersion to feel your heart pound and your palms get sweaty. (and hope you don't have a sicko living in your house that can't resist the urge to sneak up on you and go BOO! - your neighbors will hear you scream 10 miles away if so!) LOL
I recommend this game!

This is NOT AN ADVENTURE GAME!!!! It is a Hidden Object game! Not like Dracula Origins; there is NO 3D animation. For an HO, it is O.K. It has a decent story with alternate endings (in the CE version) so you get to replay the game.
Yes, I felt deceived b/c I expected an Adventure game, BUT I would still recommend the CE for anyone who enjoys Hidden Object games.
I recommend this game!

Graphics are excellent. Environment is perfect!
Characters - decent animation and voice acting.
Puzzles - some simple, others challenging- a good mix
Story was actually pretty decent when compared to others - flowed very nicely.
Game mechanics are fairly intuitive, A brief overview at the start would have helped for newer adventure gamers.
Inventory items must sometimes be combined.
Press the Space Bar for Hints!
For puzzles, part of the challenge is in simply figuring out how the puzzle works and what you must do to solve it. (Only one puzzle near the very end stumped me.)
There is a bit of tongue-in-cheek humor in this game and there is one occasion where you really must stretch your imagination. LOL (beaver cadaver!!!)
Overall - excellent adventure game!
I recommend this game!

This was the first ND game I've played. This is a good game, but here are some things that seriously disappointed me. I will probably try one more to determine if my disappointments were just related to this particular game or not.
NOTE: YOU WILL NEED A PEN AND TWO SHEETS OF PAPER FOR PUZZLE SOLVING! yes.. get ready for hand cramps.
Characters: Excellently animated with unique personalities and great voice acting. Disappointing was the fact they were all statically placed. *yawn*
Environment: Great! Beautiful but a tiny bit grainy. I was disappointed with how few and small the interactive areas were! Lots of wasted space and potential.
Sound effects were good, but the music didn't always seem to fit the situation at times.
Storyline: decent. Interesting, but occasionally had BIG holes in it. I was disappointed with the lack of substance and frustrated with the gaps.
Puzzles - I really enjoyed the majority of them, but as noted above there was a couple that killed the fun factor due to all the writing down of notes to solve them.
Challenge: The biggest challenge was getting past the holes in the story progression. You track down a clue and then.. NOTHING.. literally nothing. You are forced to run around trying to find something/someone that will trigger things to move forward. >:(
The last disappointment was the lack of the need for nighttime snooping. :( I really wished there had been a greater need for this as it would have made things much more fun.
Glitches / WARNING: When you get a photo assignment - DO NOT UPLOAD ANY OF THEM UNTIL YOU HAVE ALL OF THEM! (Also - take more than one pic with different settings just to avoid pulling your hair out) If you start uploading pics prior to having all of them it can seriously glitch the game and you may be forced to start over.
SAVE OFTEN! I recommend at least two save files for before and after key points.
This game should come with a bit more direction. Like how to use the computer - perhaps a comment or suggestion from her would have helped a lot.
I don't recommend this game.
