Thanks to Tinkerbell63 I tried (and bought) this game.
Some of the complaints are valid, some overblown. I found the graphics to be clear and the objects distinguishable.
The hidden objects when you are in the house are bright, but when you go outside it gets a little dark.
The mini puzzles without instructions are challenging, but I was able to finish at least half of them.
The story line does not intrude too much, therefore it is a little weak. The ending is abrupt. The game is shorter than I prefer. I like good hidden object games and found this one to be very enjoyable, even with my few criticisms.
Here's a little cheat sheet for you: a lamp is a light bulb, a mandaline is a mandolin, a watch is a clock, a flacon is a small flask for perfume, and -- this is my favorite -- napkins is toilet paper.
This one has it all: great graphics and sound, quick recharge button, nice story line, quite lengthy.
This game has 10 chapters, each consisting of 5 parts.
1. You meet the person who wants to be fixed up by playing a hidden object game relevant to that person's life.
2. You meet 3 prospective dates by again playing a hidden object game for each of them. Then you compare lists of interests to see which person matches the best.
3. You compare a scene from the person looking for a date to a scene from the person who has been selected to find similarities in the scenes.
4. You construct a gift that the person selected will present to his or her date.
5. You put the finishing touches on the first date venue by placing certain objects in their correct places.
Some hidden object games are lists, others are marching the silhouettes.
It is a very relaxing game (except for the mechanic's shop which I found to be very challenging!).
If you like hidden objects games but don't like bouncing back and forth from scene to scene and back again, I think you'll like this one.
This game has 18 chapters. I played the demo for 20 minutes and completed 4 chapters. I enjoy games that are relaxing, but this one is mindnumbingly (if that's a word) boring.
It is not a hidden objects (plural) game. It is a hidden object (singular) game. Find a business card holder and move on to the next scene. Find a photo album and move on.
As the other reviewer stated, no skips on dialogue, which is long and tedious. But you can click on the dialogue box to move it along.
The story line is, well, stupid. Half of it focuses on a missing girl, the other half on a grandmother's birthday party.
The graphics are good and bright. The hint button, though barely needed, does recharge quickly.
I can't recommend this even on sale -- well, maybe for a child.
Scenes are clear and bright. The lists of objects to find are long, but most objects are visible and distinguishable.
I like the hint system. You get one point for each object found, up to 15 points. You can buy hints for up to 5 points depending on the level of hint you want. I just finished 40 minutes of the demo and was able to complete a few scenes without the use of a hint.
If you are looking for a real challenge, or like hopping around from scene to scene and back again, this one is not for you. But if you just want to kick back and relax, this is a winner.
I like trying games with bad reviews because they usually end up to be not that bad.
The graphics are not grainy as one reviewer stated. Scenes may be a little dark, but the objects are distinguishable.
You start with 3 hints and collect more by clicking on the gold star in each scene (the stars are out in the open, tough to miss). If you use a hint in a scene, you will have another gold star to click on. Also, for completing mini games, you are awarded 2 hints, but the maximum hints you can have is 6.
The mini games can be challenging, but if you need help, you can click on a puzzle piece that shows you what the end result should look like.
When you need to go back to another scene, there is an arrow to direct you where to go.
The story like is OK, nothing earthshaking.
If you are looking for a challenge, look elsewhere. But if you just want a hidden object game to relax with, give this one a try.
I recommend this game!

Coyote's Tale: Fire and Water
Two sisters are about to go on the strangest vacation of their lives. Mischievous Aztec gods strive to make life a little more difficult.
The atmosphere in the scenes is dark and dreary. The graphics were nothing special. If you want really good graphics and bright scenes -- in my opinion -- try Matchmaker or Travel League, which has fantastic water scenes with moving water.
Anyway, back to Coyote. You are asked to look for the same things in each scene - snakes, skulls, lizards, scrolls - no imagination.
I never did figure out the hint system. You were supposed to look for hearts to earn hints. I never found a heart. If you waited long enough you would be directed to a hidden object.
The story line was lame -- something about appeasing gods. It was not interesting.
I did enjoy that you could switch between a list of objects and images of objects, even in the middle of a scene.
Based on what I saw, and didn't see, I cannot recommend it.
OK, it is not a long hidden objects game. And there are better hidden objects games out there -- and there are worse, much worse. And if you like the games where you have to "go back nine times, turn left twice then turn right at the cafe", this game is definitely not for you.
But it doesn't deserve the string of bad reviews.
It is not a dark, gruesome game. No one is getting decapitated.
If you just want a relaxing game (with some challenge to it), give it a try. Admittedly you might want to get it on sale.
The objects are hidden in works of art. Most of them stand out because you know they don't belong to the artwork. If you need a hint, the hint button recharges very quickly.
The dialogue, which you read, is repetitive, except when she gives background on the museum's history. The mini games are also repetitive -- art trivia, art jigsaw puzzles and something called elements where you have to identify 2 or 3 of the objects you found out of 8 objects pictured.
I have not finished the entire game, so I don't know the length. So far I have probably played about 3 hours at different times.
All in all, it's not a bad game. If you want a game with challenge and a dark, twisted plot, this is not your game. If you want a strictly hidden object game, or if you are an art lover, give this one a try.
