This game was not good and if it wasn't for my despite to ply all of the Knightstone games I probably would have quit. The story line was boring and weird. I hated the strange map. And the characters besides Knightstone are pretty horrible human beings. The mini games and HO were average and the visuals were nothing new. I am only recommending the game for those who like the series. If your on the fence don't purchase.

I brought all of the Knightstone games at one time and played them in order. This one is in the middle of the pack. Th story line was not as inventive as others and seemed to slow down at the end. The mini-games and HO scenes were average at best and seemed to copy the earlier games. If you like the series which I do you should buy it, if not don't waste your time.

I really enjoyed this game. I would have given it a 5 if it wasn't for the end. As the game progressed it seemed to slow down. I also read the journals and it as out of sequence and I knew how the game was going to end before it ended, which sucked. There was alot of back and forth, which I am not to fond of and there was one puzzle that just didn't make sense to me. Besides that its a solid game with a interesting story line and good mini games and HO scenes.

I liked this game and I think that I would have loved it if I was a kid. I really enjoyed the graphics and the variety of the hidden object games. The developer makes you think about which item to pick versus just pressing buttons. The difficulty is almost non-existent even when playing on hard or custom mode. The story wasn't original, but it wasn't horrible either. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 3 was for the awesome HO scenes and I thought the music was very fitting.

I loved this game so much! It wasn't a scar game but defitnly a thriller. The music picked up at just the right times to keep your attention. The colors are a bit drab, but I tag that into ambiance. The reason for this is the era 50's-60's, the stupor and the rainstorm. Its supposed to be drear and seemingly hopeless. The story line is definitely intriguing and I think the bonus story was helpful in ting up some lose ends. The game is a good length and the voice-overs were really well done. The HO scenes varied between 2 types, which I liked, because it made the game feel less monotonous. The beyond objects were great as usual with the developer. The mini-games ranged from easy to challenging which I liked ad the story progressed at a well paced manner.

This game was a horrible disappointment. It was so corny and not challenging at all. Initially when I purchased it there were reviews praising the game play so I was looking forward to a great game, but I was mistaken. This game was horrible and I wasted a free game token.

I decided to purchase the collectors edition of this game, because I thought it was going to be very challenging and it looked like it had a great story line. The HO scenes are above average in my opinion, but that's about it. The story was so so and the heroine was dull. I think the developers put to much emphasis on the voodoo spells , which were a waste of time to me and weird. I like dark game, but this one was just so boring and the only drive I had to finish it was the HO puzzles and the fact that I had paid CE price for it. If you really want to get it I would suggest the SE version.
I loved this game! The plot was great and it followed the basic theme of the other Phantasmat games. Out of the three I would sa this is my second favorite after the first one. One of the major two issues I had with the game is the lack of the match 3 for the HO puzzles and the change of character design. I believe this is due to a different developer. The points that the lost wee made up in the awesome story line and clever mini games. It wasn't super hard, but there was a nice challenge and the game was a decent length. I finished it in two day and I couldn't put it away I was addicted.

Before this game I would occasionally play Mystery P.I., but I was not addicted to the HO genre. This game was my first BF purchase and after going through the chilling story line with hidden objects as well as cool mini puzzles I was hooked. No one does it better than the Mystery Case File games! Although this is a dated game I think it is a crucial game to play with the Ravenhearst series. As long as you don't try to compare it with today's graphics and take it i for the story and the cleverness of the mini puzzles its not bad at all.
