I thought Letters from the Past was going to be as much fun as The Long Way Home (from the same series), but it was very short and a bit on the depressing side. How can you not know your long time husband's caregiver's last name? The story was awful and some of the items to find were very difficult to identify.

I really like the Emily series except for Childhood Memories. My favorite Emily so far is the Honeymoon Cruise. The Childhood Memories didn't have as many interesting characters and different venues. I found it a bit boring and very short.
I don't recommend this game.

The only thing I found wrong with this game is that there were little items to find that were almost impossible to see. Some of them were just luck that my cursor hit just the right spot, which made the game a little frustrating. Other than that I really enjoyed it. I hope they improve on the quality of the graphics and come up with a part 2.
I recommend this game!

Many items were hard to I.D. which always makes it less fun. It is a very, very short game. The credits were longer than the game. Even at half price, it isn't worth the trouble.
So many CE's are a disappointment when it comes to length, this one was a good length and it had many different areas to search. I enjoyed it so much , I wish it had been longer. I wasn't impressed with the bonus, it just seemed like a throw in. It wasn't overly verbose, especially that you could skip the dialogue. Good job, I want more.
I played the trial game and I had great hopes that this game was going to be entertaining, so I bought the CE. Halfway into the game I started to get bored. The puzzles weren't very challenging. What was also very disappointing was that when you opened a new gate/door you would think it would lead to another area to explore, but they didn't, they were just HO's that didn't lead anywhere. 3/4 into the game I couldn't wait to finish, and as soon as I was done I deleted it from my computer.
I don't recommend this game.

I was not a fan of the series and I bought this game because of a 50% sale. The first thing that caught my eye was the incredible crisp colors and you can see everything clearly. There are 3 murder mysteries, I had so much fun playing the first one that I kept going until I finished all of them. However, it is not a game that you may want to play again soon, because it gets old very fast. But the first time, was a pleasant surprise.
I love the rich, beautiful colors, the story and the different scenes. The puzzles were fun but some were too easy. I gave it 3 stars because it was very, very short for a C.E.. It was not worth the C.E. money.
