So much about this game is no-frills. The graphics are passable though they leave a lot to be desired. However, I really had a good time playing this game and will probably buy it at some point. As it turned out, I'm glad I didn't pre-judge it based on the screenshots or my first few seconds impressions.
You strategically place different types of towers on outlying islands in order to repel an attack from whatever direction you think it will come. In between and DURING the battles you can buy/sell/upgrade towers and buy extras (mines, etc.#, that you earn from the store. Some destroyed ships will leave treasure chests in the ocean that you can click on before they disappear!), to earn extra money. There are several achievements you can earn - I earned several in the short time I played.
I would recommend fans of strategy games try this game.
I recommend this game!

A student helps the Secret Service in finding her conspiracy-theorist professor. This is an all-Hidden Object Game with a puzzle or mini-game thrown in just every now and then. Not my favorite but okay every now and then. Items were very small but fairly easy to find. If I had trouble finding something I had to resort to a Hint because the hidden objects were too small most of the time. You can click on the item's name and see the silhouette of the item. You earn Hints by finding all-seeing eyes. I only played the demo so cannot speak to the length. I was disappointed that I was not given much info - if any - about the rooms and/or objects in them. The storyline was interesting and the game seemed to follow along and keep my interest. However, the small objects made my eyes too tired to continue.
I don't recommend this game.

I don't get to say that too often but this game certainly was a wonderful, pleasant surprise. I'm not sure how I missed it when it came out, but I did, lol. Luckily, I corrected that mistake and decided this game looked good, I was going to download it and give it a whirl...
The Intro was great - I was ready to sit back and watch the movie. The cutscenes are also very good. This game had a real storyline with a beginning, a middle and an end but most importantly, stuck to the storyline throughout the game. I don't remember there being any unaddressed issues left hanging out there as is so often the case. There was a lot of humor which I always welcome and appreciate - poor Marbles the Monkey, lol. The graphics were very nice. For the most part, I didn't have any trouble finding objects except for a handful. The hint system worked nicely.
Each chapter was different than the others and if you played to the end of a chapter, it would be a lot easier to leave if you must and come back at a later date to begin a new chapter. The puzzles were interesting and some (I'm thinking the jigsaw puzzles), could be quite difficult. I had to find a walkthrough and take a picture of the finished puzzle in order to finally solve them, I'm ashamed to say - and I LOVE jigsaw puzzles.
I've played this game twice now and am ready for a third time - it's that good. I'd gladly recommend this game to anyone who is a fan of adventure/hidden object games.
I recommend this game!
