Have just played about ten minutes of this game, long enough to know that i'm going to have to play when mind and finger dexterity are in sync! Definitely not to be played while in a mental muddle...
Yet so far i am not discouraged PLUS saw a button that allows one to skip a problem level to move on thru the game... i like to get thru an entire game, and then go back to the beginning, clearing up lower scores on levels, but this time-- knowing the tricks.
Anyway, and especially since today this game is on special pricing, i've gone ahead with the purchase... i know it will provide that 'spark' of entertainment and challenge just when needed.
Turned off the music and lowered the sound levels... but this is my usual manner with all games. Graphics are clear and bright... good vibes.
I recommend this game!

After reading first three reviews this morning, i was a bit skeptical about downloading, then decided to see for myself if this is a good sequel or not.
Have now played most of my hour trial, and just prior to sitting here writing this review, i used my credit to purchase the game... it is a good one to have in the repertoire!
Yes, there are no buildings to build, and yes i loved the lovely graphics of the first one... however, as with any empire, one must expand, explore... and this sequel gives the challenge by requesting amounts of particular items be gathered before the level can be passed.
This requires a bit more thought than simply moving a ship or treasure chest to the bottom of the chart.
i'm finding myself challenged by having to plan the moves, yet be quick about it. Some levels i've had to repeat, simply because the challenge i've set for myself requires THREE stars before moving to the next.
YES-- i recommend this game to all M3 gamers... it is not boring one bit.
I recommend this game!

Just completed my free hour demo... and HAD to purchase this game...
What i liked the most about it is that while i am playing a (sometimes ho-hum) solitaire game, in this game the story is fun, while the commentary makes me laugh too... most definitely a Purchase without regret.
Ok, gotta run, want to play again...
I recommend this game!

Haven't finished the trial game yet... and playing in relaxed mode... however, intending to purchase this game, based on experience so far... for several reasons...
First, i like having a relaxed game in queue for those times i just want to not be challenged... my brain needs a break sometimes!
Then, the story so far seems rather pathetic, however that may improve as we go along... but it doesn't matter to me either way. What i'm finding is that i DO have to involve some thinking processes else i will run out of options and have to wait for a recharge of the energy (in the game, haha)...
So it's not 'just' a mindless match 3 game... strategy is involved, even in the early stages.
Looking forward to playing the timed version, but will complete this relaxed mode first... AFTER purchasing this nice little game.
I recommend this game!

i like match 3 games very much, but only when they are fun to play... all too often, M3 becomes boring very quickly, however, many developers have a sense of fun when designing a new game in an old mode... i have many M3 games that get played over and again.
This, however, will not be one of them.
First, the colors are dark and muddy... it is difficult to read the instructions, the mini games are not clearly defined and instructed, the music is also dark and muddy.
i stayed with it for half the free time, and have now deleted it from my queue.
Sorry, developers-- please try again... there IS potential here.
I don't recommend this game.

For me, the fun begins with the first screen-- i LOVE the expression on Hercules' face... then to find him lolling about in his hammock thru most of the game while his servants work like crazy to complete their tasks --but he makes up for this apparent laziness when he charges off to complete HIS tasks, which of course, no one else can do.
Then there is the 'get the gold' factor... i've had to replay some levels to achieve the golds... challenge is good, and is why i will continue to play this game many times over. This is one game that is 'light' and still holds challenge.
To explain this further-- when i want to play a game, i don't always want the same levels of challenge-- depends always upon my 'mood of the moment'... and Hercules fills the bill quite nicely.
I recommend this game!

When i saw this game listed as the 'special' for the day, my first thought was NO!-- already purchased too many games this week, but then thought... well, why not try it out...
This is the BEST brick buster game i've played ever! This is MY opinion... and i'm sticking to it. Played a little over half the trial time and then committed to purchase the game.
Still on my first run through the game, and still learning the ins and outs of the obstacles and helping objects... but the game allows me to lose gracefully, asking 'Would you like to try this again?'... Forgiveness of errors is wonderful to experience.
What is especially challenging about this brick buster game over many others is that each screen is fun... delightful to throw the first shot and enticing to get the correct angles figured out-- without mishap! i win some, and i lose some, but there are not enough losses to discourage many happy returns. This game will give hours and hours of challenge.
The graphics are what first attracted my attention... then i saw who are the developers and that gave my first thrill of anticipation -- which did not go away throughout playing time.
Now i just have to determine how to fit all these good games into a life also filled with 'other things'.... another challenge.
I recommend this game!

For those of us who have followed and played this series of games, this one is still filled with surprising challenges and fun of previous versions, yet has added new twists and turns.
i didn't even bother with the trial version... purchased it outright just because i knew what i was getting.
i've played the older versions over and over without losing the feeling of challenging myself on every screen.
This new game however has an additional 'challenge' version... played a couple of them... and yes! they will be sure to hold my attention for quite a long time.
Getting the Gold! --not as easy as it might seem.
Normally i don't like being timed, but oddly enough, didn't mind it at all.... it just gave me the determination to keep at it until i can get it right.
This is the challenge, yes!
I recommend this game!
