Great game that will not work on newer Laptops

That game itself is funny and well made, and has a lovely graphic. But this game will not launch on newer pcs/Laptops. I could play this on my old pc, it will not work on my Laptop at all.
I recommend this game!

The Story is nothing special and extraordinary.
You play Bella, who does nothing but all day long, trying to please her family, Bella, any human being would be almost close to a burn-out if they would try to please her family all dong long as poor Bella.
The graphic in the game are really different from other graphic styles, it looks kind of artistic, but most of the characters have a rather arrogant face expression, so the graphics are not too good either way.
The time set for completing the missions is way too short, and really hectic, this makes it very, very hard to complete the missions in time, and the conditions to fulfil those quests are set way to high, and to difficult to accomplish. I felt frustrated then entertained while playing thise game.
Instead of enjoying this game i did not like the extreme difficulty, and the permanent in the challenge in this game not all.
The game is not really good balanced between challenge and difficulty.
That is why sorry I did not enjoy playing this game, I bought it hoping I would catch a good old nostalgic time management game.

Overall this was a cute game, the graphics are very magical, playful, and fantasylike and cute.
But instead of working on making such a great graphics, the game makers, should have found some voices for the characters.
The characters are missing characteristic personalities, cause of the missing voices.
The time for when the player gets the next clue, if he/she can't find the next item, are way too long.
The game is repetitive.
There is hardly any story in Annas Quest, but the game is under the Game Category: Adventure Games, which means point and click with a lot of stories.
The cat really was cute in that game, but needed a voice as well.
It is alright, to make it challenging to make it a difficult to find items, but in that game here, items were too well hidden. Overall the game is oK, but nothing that stands out, in particular. This game needs more stories, voices, more places, and less difficulty, and fewer riddles to solve. Without some walkthroughs, I would not have solved the riddles. People who love hard logic riddles will have a blast, I guess, but making more hard riddles instead of making the game overall better, not a good choice. Riddles should be made this way, that everyone can solve those riddles, without needing tons of walkthroughs. And should not be that much of a challenge. Yes, you can let pass time bye to skip the riddle, but this takes too much time to wait. This game was obviously more focused on giving players a challenge, and it neglected other parts of the game. Not a good choice.

No i can´t recommend the game just because it is cute, it is frustrating, and it´s to difficult to enjoy.

The game is way too difficult, splitting the screen in two sides was a bad idea, you keep missing customers requests.
The maid is way too slow, and needs too long to clean a room, if customers wait too long, they lose their patience really quick.
The patience of the customers is way too short, they lose their patience within 5 seconds!
If the patience visible to see reaches any color else then green, if you don't serve customers withing 2 seconds, you will not get an excellent message; showing on the screen, therefor you won't reach the daily goal. This Is frustrating, and way too difficult for a casual game.
The only thing I enjoyed about the game was the cheerful music, the sounds, and the graphics.
Hardly any Story here, so no, I can't recommend the game.
I can't reach the last daily goal, because the goal is way too set high.
The best way to get points, is to serve customer quick, and make chain orders.
But with the split screen, the maid being too slow, customers patients too short, you will experience trouble winning some levels a lot. On Windows 10 i can't play Janes Hotel in full screen mode, sometimes the game crashed cause bye an access error. If the game is here still up for sale, it should work on newer Windows versions as well!

I bought the game cause i wanted to play an older Time Mangement game, what a mistake.
They only intriguing thing about the game, is the cute playful graphic.
Customers are terrible, some looser their patience within 2 seconds, so some levels are impossible to get the Expert Score/Master Score.
In reality no customer would get super quick this angry and so super demanding, its a joke.
This makes the game exremly fast paced to play and ridiculous hard.
Can´t even play the game in Fullscreenmode. Cause it won´t work.

The game has a lovely charme and very nice graphics, it renders well the feeling of a magical college.
But the game crashes to often,expert goals are real hard to reach. The game is made by big fish and no patch is there to fix the permanent crashes. It is a good game but it needs to be technically fixed, for Windows 10 or higher, it also was crashing on Windows XP as well.
