I really like these Nancy Drew series of games. I just wish BF had more in MAC format.
Same formula as before. Two levels, Junior and Senior. I chose to play the senior level, and knew I was on my own for keeping up with what I am supposed to do next. But they do not leave you completely on your own. If you call Nancy's friends and discuss the case, they will get you back on track with ideas on what to do next.
The puzzles can be challenging and really require you to pay attention to the story line, or use the common sense you were born with to solve them.
The game footprint is usually not that large, but you encounter something new as you work your way around it. I spent several days on the game as I was in no rush to solve it.
I was entertained and challenged. All I ever ask from a game...
I recommend this game!

I really liked playing the game. It varied on the hidden object format, so that made it interesting. Played on advanced level, didn't notice any time penalties. The puzzles weren't that challenging, so barely used hints. Used hints mostly when I lost my train of thought, otherwise, you can easily follow the logic to know how to find tools to move the story along.
I recommend this game!

This game got a lot of good reviews, however, I thought it was just alright. Visually, it was really good, but the game was short play. I thought the hidden objects mini-games were clever as you had solve puzzles within puzzles to get to the final object. Not sure how much longer the collector's edition is compared to the regular, but I wish this game was longer. If long play isn't important to you, then I would recommend the game.
The puzzles weren't very challenging but interesting rating the "ok".
I recommend this game!

After using a secret alias to board the Titanic, things go terribly wrong and you find yourself trapped among the wreckage. In order to earn freedom from your watery tomb you must appease your captor by re-writing history and freeing the spirits trapped aboard the 'unsinkable' luxury liner as well as discover why fate has chosen this destiny for you.

I played this game over several days. The tasks were easy enough. I skipped one, not because it was too challenging, but it was just too tedious. I liked the map feature. It kept me on target. There was a level of challenge in that you had to discover undeclared tasks/objects before you could do a task that was highlighted on the map. Visually, the game was pleasing. Overall, the game was entertaining.
I recommend this game!

This is my second Nancy Drew game. The first one I was a junior detective and then with Crystal Skull, I stepped up to Senior Detective. Unless you are going to play this straight thru, I would recommend the Junior Detective mode. The task list will help you keep things straight. Especially since I found myself ahead of the game as far as finding the hot spots before I was allowed to do anything with them. Remember your extra paper and a pen, you'll need them. It was challenging, but some of the games were tedious and I wish I could skip them. (skeeball game/wasps nest- I just don't have that much time to spare!!!). Otherwise, good story line. I would recommend and even get another ND game.
I recommend this game!

This was a great thinking game. I sometimes found myself ahead of the story, but the puzzles themselves were challenging enough. I liked that you can save the story at different points and reload old versions to replay scenes or clues. Worth the money and time.
I recommend this game!
