This will be a purchase for me as I like a good match 3 and they are becoming few and far between. However I found the board to be very cluttered and the tiles blend into the background which makes it very hard to see what needs clearing. An indication of how many tiles need clearing would also be a help.
There is one thing that will stop me from buying this game and that is the multiplying ice crystals. I play for enjoyment and not to try and bet something that keeps multiplying. It is just frustrating and annoying. I have also had three access violations so there is something not quite right. Apart from those two things it could be a good game.
This could be a good game but the voices are terrible. Just like other games from this developer you can tell the voices are from a machine not a real person. After a while it becomes grating and there is no way to turn them off. Overall if you can stand the voices then it could be an enjoyable game. I do agree with the reviewer who stated it's the same game as all the rest just a different storyline. With the price we are paying isn't it time to refresh the layout

I have played all of Amanda's Magic Book games and although this was an ok game the voices were terrible. I eventually turned of the sound and read the commentary.

This developer is one of the few that I will pay full price for. It is well worth the money. Unfortunately with this one although it's a great game it wasn't until I got half way thru the extra levels that I found the delete selected card button because it was hidden by the other extra cards. A fix for next time would be great. Still a great game though

I have just finished this game and enjoyed it. I expected to find the extra bonus levels. Nothing. What an expensive rip off. Up your game Big Fish. This is not good enough.
I have read all the negative reviews and yes I can understand that the new format will make some people a bit annoyed but games are for enjoyment and to have a bit of entertainment. This is different from the other ones and yes I was a bit confused to start with but it made me use the old grey matter. As always try it and make up your own mind.
In this clever solitaire mystery game, follow Mark and his sister Lily as their lives are upended when they learn of their father’s mysterious disappearance!
I don't know why the Devs always put big black borders top and bottom of games. I use a large monitor and it's a real pain particularly when it chops off words. This could be a much better game. The main annoyance is that you can't turn off the tutorial. I don't need to know all this info. If I get stuck then I will read the help if there is one. The jury is still out on whether I buy this or not which is a pity because the solitaire offers to date have been awful.
I played the CE of this and was absolutely blown away by it. This is a match 3 that delivers. I was totally absorbed by it. This is what a match 3 should be. As one reviewer said this has raised the bar and it will be interesting to see if others follow. Let's hope we don't have to wait to long for Cave Quest 3.

I play Match 3 for the enjoyment so I'm not bothered about the modes or rewards but I have tried this game and it is so slow I could make a cup of tea while waiting for things to drop.
