Yet another great game from Blue Tea Games. I've only played the demo but if the game unfolds as well as previous BTG games then it's going to be full of twists and turns.
Brilliant artwork, fantastic atmospherics, great take on an old fable. Dark but not too much so that you can't see the objects you're trying to find. Oh dear, looks like it's going to be an expensive month, another game to add to my wish-list.
I recommend this game!

Like at least one other I took one look at the file size and gingerly pressed the download-demo button. I'm so glad I did. It's definitely different to most other games around at the moment. There's a lot more story in this than most HOG/puzzle games and for once, I like the talking bits. Normally I skip through those because they take so long. You have tasks and goals immediately, helped by 'the arm' thankfully. I wasn't so sure about that type of hint but it makes a change from the usual 'glowing pointer' or 'There is nothing to do here at the moment' kind of clue.
It can be a little bit confusing at first knowing where to look next but you soon get the hang of moving the cursor everywhere to see where it changes. Definitely one for May (new punch card to fill).
I haven't got to the Marmite bit yet (from another reviewer) but it's defintely NOT Marmite (hate the stuff). This is very good.
I recommend this game!

Dark Dimensions: Wax Beauty Collector's Edition
Travel to Red Lake Falls to track down the latest Dark Dimension!
It's nice to see a twist on the HOG scenes. Makes them far more interesting. Another dark tale and cut scenes that add to the story instead of just taking up time. The puzzles are more imaginative than normal as well, some easy but some really need thinking about.
I was expecting just a sequel on City of Fog but it's far more. Definitely one for the collection.
I recommend this game!

I was surprised. I'd read the previous reviews and wondered what I'd downloaded. I was expecting to be closing this down after 5 minutes.
30 minutes later I had to close the game to go and make a meal. I didn't find the small creatures difficult to see as some have done and I think the challenge came with trying to get the creatures into the correct position to finish the level. I'll finish the trial hour but I won't be buying it. It's definitely addictive though - if you can get over the first 5 or 10 minutes.
I recommend this game!

This is basically the same as Eiffel Tower but it seems as if the characters are smaller. Or is that just me?
I love the little factoids at the beginning of each level.
I've only played the demo so far but I'm looking forward to getting to the later levels (bought it and downloading the full game right now). I like the way each level builds on the last so there isn't a huge jump in speeding up your thinking time or mouse clicks like there is in some of the TM games.
I think I preferred the graphics of Eiffel Tower. They seemed clearer and less cluttered to me.
I recommend this game!

This is a great game for children. The skill level is probably just about right for young HOG-ers and the puzzles aren't too difficult that they'll become fed-up and stop playing.
It's fun for adults too if you want an easy, don't-have-to-think game. Not everything has to be dark and difficult. It's nice to relax sometimes.
