I enjoyed the demo but lot of the items are quite small and hard to find so it was quite fun and challenging. I have been playing a lot of my older games lately so maybe that came in a little handy in playing this game...hats off to old Ravenhearst games and the like. I also enjoyed the story so this will be a definite purchase for me. I recommend this game so definitely try and see if you enjoy it as everyone has different tastes.
I really enjoyed the first game in this series! Cute animals, bopping soundtrack, variety of hidden object scenes, fun mini-games so this is definitely a purchase for me! If you liked the first one, you will definitely enjoy this!
I enjoyed this so I purchased it. I didn't have any problems and this game was just my speed and is quite similar to the "Baking Bustle" games. I'm not that fast in some of these cooking games and there are a lot of recipes to remember so I tend to screw up but even with the mistakes that I made, I found this game is quite generous and didn't dock me stars or cash.
I'm having fun but as always, try before you buy because not everyone is going to enjoy.
I previously purchased this game on another site. It was pulled from that site as no one could get past Level 4 as the Forger was not forging. It was re-released and I purchased it thinking the game glitches were all fixed but nope, on Level 44 you do not receive one of the items needed to finish the level and advance in the game. Because there are so many items needed to complete different tasks and they change where you can get each item from level to level (ie. moss is found in chest, next level merchant sells moss, etc.), I played Level 44 over and over again as the items are small and hard to see and I might have missed it but, I realized that I just wasn't receiving the item from one of the tasks no matter how many times I replayed the level. Tried this version on Big Fish...same problem so unless I am totally missing something on this level. I had a few problems on some of the other levels (ie. bottle opener not opening bottle, matches not lighting smoker, etc. but once I replayed them I finished the level. Sorry, I love these games too and was excited to play it but I would not recommend it until the developer fixes it.

This is another cleaning game like "Fairy Maids" but not as much fun and very repetitive and boring. I had to stop and start the game a few times after using the brush since it wouldn't go back to the regular cleaning mode. Looked promising though!
I loved this series and was excited to see another Northern Tale(s) but firstly, the graphics really threw me off as I was looking forward to the great fun cartoony ones that we have come to expect. I don't know why developers feel the need to change up the designs/gameplay of their popular series when they were so good before. Secondly, as other reviewers have mentioned, there is no guide for a CE and it was more fun to search for the hidden items before then just clicking on the easy to find items in this game. I really hope developers stop with the makeovers and I just couldn't really get into this game as the first 3 levels just dragged for me.
I love these TM games from Magnussoft and was happy to see another added to the Heroes of Rome Series! Immediate purchase for me and actually had to stop playing so I wouldn't rush through the game!
I don't understand the bad reviews myself...if you don't like this developer's games, don't bother playing them and reviewing them. People can make their own decisions on whether to buy after playing the demo so I don't particularly pay attention to personal gripes. I generally ignore the bad reviews unless it's a technical issue/bug/glitch involved that affects the gameplay or any information on the length of the game.
As I said before, these developers put effort into making these games for us to enjoy and Big Fish offers great prices and as I enjoyed the demo, I will be purchasing this game so thank you DO Games!
A definite purchase for me! Yes, it's super fast with no timer options and I have been playing games for years and consider myself to be quick, but I had to play a few of the "missions" over a couple of times to complete them. I enjoyed that and the challenge. And yes, you can skip a level after not being able to complete a level 3x (evil oil lamps! Grrrr!), you have the option or skipping the level using your emeralds that you receive as a bonus for completing each mission. I play a lot of games like this on my IPad and the objects are much smaller and harder to discern what exactly you are looking at so I find this much better. This isn't an easy hidden object game with a generous timer so it's best to keep replaying levels over if you didn't finish on time. There are "find the difference" levels which I am not quite that great at in any game (I tend to find 9 or 8 out of 10 before I really have to search in most games, give up and use a hint lol) but fared better with those types of levels in this game so I didn't find them that difficult and a clutter type level which is the easiest of all types of levels in this game.
If you enjoy a challenge, try it and see if you enjoy it but as I said, I had to play quite a few levels over but I thoroughly enjoyed it!
Based on the demo, I will be purchasing this game! I enjoyed searching for the collectibles, loved the artwork and the storyline is intriguing so it's a definite buy for me! Plus, the mini games are just perfect as they aren't too overly hard...I do enough thinking at work and don't want to be frustrated by a mini game at home! I don't understand the negative reviews about this game as the developers obviously put a lot of time and effort into it to create a story with lush detailed scenes, research, a sense of humour along with a bonus story and extras for a decent price. I love Duncan lol and the mumbling of the supposed "leprechaun" as he ran through the train station really cracked me up...I am easily amused and pretty sure my stomach makes that same noise when I am hungry. lol This is really a treat for the eyes and plenty 'o fun for me!
