This is a great little game. It has so much to do, and is really beautiful and unique. For me, this holds my interest. The story line is fine, but I'm just transfixed by all the stuff I keep finding. No, it's not perfect, and sometimes objects things aren't even identified as things to do, but for an SE this is a buy.
When I started playing this game I thought it was really neat. It's so sloooowwwww. It just takes so much time to get from one place to another, but I loved the heroine and and little mouse. I had high hopes. I even like the graphics even though they aren't that sharp. For some reason they just work. I'm kind of out on this one, but I will recommend it.
I played half the demo and quit because I had to clean my house! Just kidding, but it was just too dirty. The story line would have been great, but I got lost in the characters and didn't know if I was finished with them or not and they just didn't fit in with the game. It was boring, and I appreciated a couple of the games, but it just didn't work for me and I quit out of it. I can see that many people liked it so it's just a matter of taste.
The more I played this, the more frustrated I became. The story line is great but honestly it's so one-dimensional that I got bored and quit. You don't wander, you just have small areas to play in, with just a few inventory items. there was no excitement even though there could have been. I loved the idea but the game just didn't meet my expectations.
A strange and deadly pollen is spreading around the world, and you’ve been hired to track down its source. But the secrets you discover in the fabled kingdom of Floralia are much darker than you imagined...
I just can't say enough about this game. They keep getting better, even though I don't know how that's possible. These are hands down the most beautiful intriguing games I've played. Every scene is splendid. I am always amazed at the detail in these Dark Parable games. They are so different and a huge cut above what we usually have to choose from.
I recommend this game!

Haunted Manor: Painted Beauties
A peaceful day at the park becomes a journey into the surreal when you become the latest victim of a troubled artist's deal with Death!
I really like this game. It's interesting, a bit different from the usual witches and demons and not too many hidden object games. The only con is that it's slow for me and I don't know why, the map is totally useless, so I use the hint button a lot because I'm lazy and don't want to just wander aimlessly if I don't know what to do, but it's a great little game and it's a buy for me.

I see I am the only one who found this game a tad boring. I actually got lost in what the whole game was supposed to be about. Visually it was pretty good, and it was nice to get away from all the witch, demonic, etc. that we see so much of. I'm just waiting for the ONE! The game that totally blows me away, and this one didn't do it. Games super easy which for me is great. This is just my opinion.
I recall playing this game a while ago - I recognized one scene in particular. I gave level of challenge and "okay" simply because I couldn't figure anything out. The hidden object games were different and I thought that was a step in the right direction. The visuals were really bad and it could have been really good but wasn't.
I was surprised to see the mixed reviews, but I'm not a great game player, so I really enjoyed this. Mini games were few, I loved the story line, thought it was really interesting and different. I was sure the HOGs were going to be different, but after the first one, they are all words which is kind of boring. I found it to be slow going though, and the little angel annoyed me for some reason. I only went to the map once but didn't see a place that showed you where there were things to do, which is a nice feature. Anyway, it's a go for me for sure!
