I cannot stand timed HO games. Timed HO games takes the fun out of them.
You don't get a lot of time during each scene
Some HO's are really hard to find
If you click too many times, you lose the very little time you already have
You only get three hints
What would have been good is time bonuses-for each scene you manage to complete, you get a time bonus.
I haven't even finished this game because I keep running out of time. If you like a challenge and timed games, then this could be for you. But I really wouldn't recommend this game. Its awful.
I don't recommend this game.

It was a fairly enjoyable game but it has its flaws:
There's ALOT of backtracking and it grew old fast. The skip button took ages to load as did the Hint button. The mini games were nothing new as was the storyline-and that itself had a few flaws.
I'd recommend the SE version.
I recommend this game!

I have a soft spot for games that are set in aslyum hospitals. If they are well done, there's just something spooky about them.
This is a HO/adventure game. The visuals are excellent as is the storyline.
The mini-games are skippable and the skip button loads quickly if you get frustrated with a mini-game.
I give it 10/10.
I recommend this game!

This is based on the demo and wasn't impressed.
The hidden object scenes were so blurry and the objects themselves were so hard to find because they were tiny.
I won't be buying.
I don't recommend this game.

I loved this game-it was creepy and made me jump a couple of times.
Fun Factor: awesome
Visual/sound quality-excellent and so creepy at times.
Level of challenge-so-so. I didn't need the skip button at all. Which is a good thing I think.
Storyline- Was ok. The little clown friend was cute.
I recommend this game!

I enjoyed this game-but it was too short for a CE. I finished it in about four hours. I should have waited for the SE.
The visuals were good, sound ok, storyline-nothing new, but there could have been more HO scenes.
I'd buy the SE version, not the CE.
I recommend this game!

I really dislike games that are too short and not worth the CE price. And unfortunately, this game is one of them. Plus it had an update, which means there are bugs.
The game suggests that you play the game with music on, but the voice-overs got so annoying and irritating, I played the game with the music muted.
The mini-games were not very challenging, the graphics were great and the HO scenes had a bit of a twist to them. The storyline was nothing new.
Overall, the game would have been better if it had been longer and glitch-free. I should have just played the SE.
I recommend this game!

I loved this game. There were no glitches, music was ok and storyline was interesting. Graphics were amazing, but they were a little dark in the HO scenes.
Mini games were ok, nothing new. Can't wait to play the sequel.
I recommend this game!

I had fun playing it...at first. I ran into two glitches. The first one was near the beginning so I had to start again but when was right at the end. I couldn't finish it so I stopped playing.
The mini games were easy and to be honest, not very inventive.
A game that could be better and is let down by glitches.
I don't recommend this game.

This is my first game in the Dark Tales series. This review is based on the SE.
I was disappointed in the length of this game. I finished this in a day.
The visuals/graphics were excellent. The storyline was just ok and the puzzles themselves were easy. A bit too easy.
I look forward in playing the next games and hope they are better.
I recommend this game!
