I have played this many times. The first time I found it challenging and confusing but the more I played it the more I liked it. The story is interesting and the characters are important to the game play and it does have a logical conclusion. Each time I play it I find some areas a challenge still and it makes my brain work - to me that is one essential of a good game. There is a good mix between HO's, puzzles, and working out how to use the inventory items.
I recommend this game!

I liked the mini games - many were different to the usual run of the mill stuff and they certainly were not difficult. The music was pleasant and unobtrusive. The story was nothing special but that did not worry me too much as I play for the action not the story.
On the downside I found the HO's dark and hard on my old eyes. Several objects were really difficult to detect even with the aid of a hint! The real reason for my three star rating is the amount of to and fro in order to use the inventory items. With the use of a map I would have given this game a higher rating.
I recommend this game!

At first I wasn't sure about this game but it grew on me. I liked the map - it was useful to navigate the scenarios. If you prefer to do it the hard way you can. The HO scenes are there in plenty, are fairly complex and test the eyesight as well as the patience but are still enjoyable. The hint button in the HO's is slow to recharge so use it wisely if you need to. The hint facility also assists with where to go next - nice for people like me with a dislike of frustration but for those who enjoy doing it hard it is optional. This game surprised me with the level of enjoyment it provided.
I recommend this game!

I bought this game some time ago and decided to re-visit it. Sadly I now remember why it has been abandoned! The storyline is gruesome - poor people trapped in horrendous nightmares and there is nothing pleasant about it. Even when rescued they remain in awful rooms! The graphics on the HO are hand drawn and unrealistic; the movement between scenarios is slow and laboured; even though I picked a correct item it would not disappear; the game shuts down at least once during play. As you can guess I am disappointed because I feel it is a game with potential.
I don't recommend this game.

I bought this as a special before I had finished my trial time. The graphics are clear and bright and I did not notice the music (if there was any). The beginning is a bit over long but so far it is the type of game I like to play when I do not want to push my brain too far. Having just finished the Dark Parable series this is a nice game to play for relaxation. If you click too often looking for something the screen "cracks" temporarily but it does not last long and encourages patience! I do not think I would have paid full price but as a daily deal it is good value, easy, and fun.
I recommend this game!

My problem with this game was the size of the Hidden Objects. Some are so tiny and indistinct that even when using the hint facility I had trouble clicking on them. The hint button is very limited compared to some games and to get more one has to play a version of 'minefield' which I absolutely hate. I have played others in this series but definitely not this one!!!!!
I don't recommend this game.

I loved the first game in this series so could not wait to buy this one. On the plus side the graphics are good as is the music. The storyline did not appeal as much as the first story but it was interesting enough. The puzzles were not over challenging. The minus is the difficulty with the cursor. It is sometimes hard enough to find where to use an inventory item but when the game rejects it when you are correct it is downright irritating. I had to try some items four or more times to get them to work. I will think twice before buying another in this series although I will recommend this game at least as a try before you buy.

This was one of the first games I bought in the HO genre and found it a very good introduction. The scenarios are of a straightforward "find something on the list" type and the in between puzzles are of the jigsaw or match three type. Each section played gives you part of a clue to the final solution. I did find some parts difficult at the stage I played it first but for those of you who are newcomers remember to check and see if Bigfish has a blog walkthrough - they really are vey useful!
I recommend this game!

An excellent game of the FROG genre with plenty of HO's to keep you occupied interspersed with puzzles. There is little information on how to play the puzzles but most of them are fairly simple and there is a skip facility. The music is unobtrusive. There is some dialogue but it is minimal and for the most part relevant. I found the map useful. The ability to put an inventory item on the help button to know where to use it I found helpful but it is optional if you want to play the hard way. Good value for money.
I recommend this game!

Exiled Prince was my first FROG and I loved it so much had to have this one. I like that the background music is not obtrusive and annoying. There are lots of HO's, no annoying voice interactions, and a few puzzles that are fairly easy - I have a tendency to skip when I get frustrated but I achieved all of these. I did not follow a very logical path to success but that was no problem. The hint has a good recharge time even without finding all the morph items. The only downside for me was the darkness of the 'inspect' pictures' which I found annoying but which did not detract from the overall enjoyment.
I recommend this game!
