I love the story line, feels like you are part of a big adventure. Technology continuously improves: more and more we see real people in the games - personally I am not a huge fan of that. So with this game being that all the caracters are drawn and animated I much prefer that and was very happy. The HOG are different then other games, you have to find objects based on the picture you see at the bottom and not by reading the words - this is one of the reasons I have not bought a previous Dark Parables but with this one I could not ignore just loved it too much. Have to go play now :-)

If I had listened to the first reviews I would have not tried this game and boy am I glad I did! I love this game and as some other members have mentioned in other reviews this is from the same developers as Spooky Mall which I also enjoyed tremendously. The graphics are amazing, lively colors and fun decor and different 'people' coming in and out of your shop. It is slightly challenging at the beginning to get used to view the customer's orders by clicking again however once you get the hang of it there is no issue. I love the fact that you can continuously upgrade so many choices available that made me very happy sometimes in games there aren't too many upgrade opportunity or you have to start over when you change location. In this one so far you just keep adding which is great. I saw in some other review Jo's Dream Organic Cafe 2 is in the making - can't wait for it already.
I recommend this game!

I loved loved this game. Amazing graphics, as usual, they do not disappoint at all, fun story and different types of puzzles and HOS. I played the hard level, I could have played the more difficult one but was too involved in the game to change it. I liked the fact that not all the HOS were the same different styles made it interesting, though I am still a huge fan of the original types of HOS. I definitely recommend this game and the collector's edition you can't beat that extra game play :-D
Novelist Edward Grand has found evidence of a terrible tragedy in the city of Rosemount and sets off to investigate!

I have not submitted a review in quite some time but then again I haven't seen any new games I really liked and I do like this one quite a bit. As many have said 'gorgeous' graphics, beautiful music, fun HOG....I played expert and it was still fairly easy. I am happy this will be a fun weekend as I will probably buy this one...yes I could wait for the SE but I may not.
I recommend this game!
Return to the De la Fer estate to help the count unravel the curse that has been passed down through his family!

Oh how I have been waiting for this game! I love love those games. It is like coming home: everything you love in one place; wonderful graphics, cool storyline, again on a path of investigation. Loved the first game and this one too so far - didn't need long into the trial to know I would be getting it! It does not disappoint - even though I selected the hard level of difficulty the puzzles were fairly easy. In some not sure the 'skip' button eventually came on however I didn't need it. I very much enjoy the story it is fast pace you get to move from place to the other different surroundings/different tasks- the young wolf oh so cute :-) If I had to make one little constructive comment would be the music and sounds that are pretty much the same as other games in the same line however it is a very tiny comment. I would defintely recommend this one to everyone who loved the first one!!!
I recommend this game!
Take up the cross and slip into the role of a young exorcist on his first solo battle with the forces of evil in The Exorcist 2!

Yes unusual for the Holiday Season but still a good one in my mind. Solid creative delivery of a demonic theme; great voice overs, beautiful and vivid graphics, spooky scenes with floating possessed bodies and demon figures around you. Also beautiful drawings for the HOS and not difficult. I wish it would have been a full screen the side panels help compensate though but still would be better in my mind. A definite for the new year after the celebrating is over.
I recommend this game!
Stop a mysterious illness that is causing an entire village to rapidly age! Find the cause and find a missing young girl!

Wonderfule graphics which takes through a picturesque town filled with hidden secrets. I love to be transported in time and experience something different. The Hiddent Object Scene are a lot fun and not too difficult as well you are challenged just enough for the different tasks you need to discover and accomplish. If I would have just a small complaint although the music is very beautiful it gets a bit to you after a while however it does not take away from anything. Love Love this game and I am also looking forward to the next one coming soon I hope :-)

When I tried this game it only took me a few minutes within the demo period to know I had to get this game. I actually finished it the same night as I could not stop playing was just totally into it. The graphics are fantastic and right at the beginning you meet the main caracter loved the voice and the fact that animation feels like you are actually talking to someone. There you get introduced to what your mission or goal will be so you are right away pulled in. Beautiful HOS (hidden object scene), fun puzzles and great tasks to accomplish from location to the next. Your purpose to resolve the big mistery in the town and avoid further killings. One of my favorites and looking forward to the next Shawdow Wolf Mystery which I hope it coming out soon. Totally recommend this game.

I just finished the demo, overall I liked it even more so as I got more into the plot. It seems from my perspective that the quality of the picture got better and more interesting, I enjoyed the Hidden Object Scene the drawings were very well done in my opinion. If you get stuck, hints recharge quickly to help find ou way. I liked the aspect of going back in time and having communication with your nephew, I am happy that this one is not a collector's edition we don't see those too often lately - although I have to say that I am a big fan of CEs. I will most likely get this one.

I tried this game because it was under the 'Catch of the Week' and also because of some of the reviews I had previouly read. I personnaly loved the Phantom's voice was automatically drawn in, loved the scenery it takes you back in time in some of the rooms you almost feel like you are there. Some of other reviews mentioned the repeating voice of the phantom distracting however for me it was the voice of the woman that threw me off I didn't find it matched the theme and time period. The objectives are fairly attainable and fun, most puzzles were at a good level but some more difficult... I did find some of the Hidden Object Scene difficult - was hard to find some of the items had to use hints and even some did not even seem obvious after. Overall a good one - actually it made me want to watch the movie - which I did :-)
I recommend this game!
