For years this has been my go-to game, but recently it is truly trying my nerves. Level time is ended abruptly with 30-45 seconds left to play. Levels stall when 30 seconds or more pass without any customers entering. The round starts on it's own before I have completed required upgrades to finish the level.... Fix it please before I find a different game!! (Oh and I marked all of the scores above as "poor" because it doesn't show what game features I was supposed to be scoring!)

It seems several players can't get started. Simply click on the exclaimation marks as they appear on the game area. Instructions, as well as images, show how to place and upgrade your towers. Any other problems should be solved by common sense and experience with TM games. But it is a simple, fun way to un-wind. Decent graphics and no bugs or glitches.
As darkness falls, strange dreams from the past haunt Dianne. Help her uncover the hidden secret that lies within her dreams and unravel a love story that’s lost within time.

I seen that one reviewer said that this game was relaxing, well it is, straight into a coma! The music was calm and gentle, almost to much so. The reactions were slow, you click on an object and it takes forever to reach your inventory. There is no direction. You don't know what to do or where to go. I finished the demo in 37 minutes.I had hoped this game would be a change of pace from the more fast paced games. Well it was, but it was way to easy going. I need to feel some sort of urgency so I will feel a sense of wanting to continue. That, and a lot more, was missing from this game.

Anything gothic is in my blood, much to my mother's chagrin. And this has great visuals, music and voiceovers that are not annoying or unnecessary. But if you're looking for HO's don't look for them here, at least not in the demo. I finished the demo with time to spare and was left wanting. I have let to decide if I am going to purchase. Could anyone say how long the full game is? That is a big factor for me to know before buying. The strategy guide didn't give any clues as to the length of the game. Like another reviewer, I'd rather wait until the first of next month to buy. But, if you like creepy settings, witches with an attitude, and evil creatures with a long reach, (said not to give to much away) then this is for you. I like all those things, but I also like HO's, which are lacking here.

This has to be the worst HOG that I have ever tried to play. There was nothing to hold my interest. I almost didn't try the demo based on the reviews, but wanted to give it an honest try. I should have believed the reviews. There was no saving grace, not the music, not the graphics, not the characters. I was shocked that "Felix" added it to his website, his standards are usually higher than this.

When I want to spend time away from everything, this is where I go. Although it's not high tech, some of the creatures are unique. When the ice towers kick-in the game play gets a stutter, but that is the only performance problem that I have found. This is the first game I purchased from Big Fish when I found their site a couple of years ago, and this is the game at the top of my list of my most often played games.
I try to be careful what I spend money on, but this game got me hooked. I was settled in, ready to relax and enjoy the game, but then it was over! Game sites really need to post an approximate time of game play. "The Fool" is a great game and very funny. I was eager for the fun to continue after the trial period was over. Unfortunately, the rest of the game wasn't much longer than the one free hour. If you're not into long games, this one is for you!
