I'm on level 20, and I'm about ready to stop playing. The game is slow paced, even on "legend" level. The first few levels are fun, and I expected there to be a way to speed up progress. Nope. I've been able to get 3 stars on every level with very little effort. If you like slow moving Time Management, this is for you.
Not your typical Rescue Team game. This game is larger and more of a challenge. It took me about 10 levels to figure out how to get 100%. The levels are not timed, but different challenges within each level are timed.
This game is fun, like most of the Rescue Team games. However, I was able to finish ALL of the additional 15 levels of the Bonus Game, first time I played. Most of them I finished with more than half the 3 star time remaining.
I've played almost the entire game, I'm on level 90 something now. Bugs I've found... 1. Even after upgrading certain times, they do not produce the number of objects they are upgraded to. I've upgraded my eggs and bacon to make 5 items, but it only makes 4. 2. You can pick items up, but they get lost before hitting the warehouse. I'll click 3 cups on cream and only 2 go to the warehouse. 3. Farm buildings stop producing cash or vegetables. 4. It is impossible to get all the rewards in the rewards shop. Play 15 levels without clicking any products? Seriously? Terrible game.
I just finished the final level of this game. Many found the game unchallenging, I thought it was fun and challenging. I spent a lot of hours trying to make sure none of my people died. It was a blast.
I did buy this game. Good, challenging Time Management games are tough to find. This one is not much different than the earlier games in the series. It is challenging, if you play on "difficult." What this game is not, is fun. I'm not even sure why. It's just boring. Get to the buildings, upgrade, gather. Nothing at all really challenging. You can get three stars on most levels by playing through once and then figuring out what things you need the most. Not enough food, next time upgrade the food sources early. Buy it when you run out of other things to play.
Disclosure, I don't care too much for any of the stories and I play with the sound off. This game is one of the funniest I've played in a while. I play "expert" level and won't move to a new level until I've gotten three stars. So, the fun for me is in the challenge. If a level takes me 4 days to complete, so be it. The tougher the game (as long as it is not just clicking a thousand times) the more fun it is for me. If you love a good, challenging, puzzle like Time Management Game, this is a great game to play. It took me about a month to finish it. Someone else mentioned there weren't bonus levels. There are 2 bonus levels on each of the islands, you have to complete the puzzle to unluck them.
If you are looking for a challenge, this is not it. In the beginning the Dracula games were fun and there were different things to look for on each level. This game seems to be for the young and inexperienced player. Very little thought is needed to finish levels. There seems to be lots of time to finish things, and there are no real surprises. If you want a game that is very cute but requires little skill, this is for you.
Are you kidding me? Finally a viking game for women and the first quest is "cleaning up the dishes?"

The first quest is "cleaning up dishes!" I'm so irritated I couldn't even get past the first three levels. Terrible. So far most of these games are about building things to "save women" folk. I thought this might be different. UGH!
