Just finished playing the complete game and as always, was fascinated with the story line. I always enjoy the 20's era music. If the puzzle layout repeats, I didn't notice. I enjoyed every one of them. The game left us with a teaser for the next game. I don't understand the low reviews. I can't wait for the next story in the Gaslamp series.!
I don't usually review, but must counteract the one-star given by another reviewer, not because she didn't enjoy the game, but because it's not the kind of take-every-card solitaire she prefers.
Her level by level description/complaint took some of the joy of playing from me. Clearly, I don't have the pinpoint memory she is lucky enough to possess. I find surprises in all this developer's solitaires and often replay them between playing other types of games.
I enjoyed the demo of this one and plan to buy it. Although I own several of the developer's solitaires, I had fun and look forward to the full game.
I've only played the demo hour, but will purchase Crimson Shadow. As a writer myself (of children's books) I loved meeting the characters in this story and look forward to more adventures with them. The games often have a fun twist to a familiar game like the one moving lighted candles to the top of the group. I look forward to "reading"/playing the rest of this story and to future City Legends games.

I loved the first Runefall and am enjoying this one even more. The characters are such fun. It's good to see Winifred and Caius are (sort of) a couple now. I'll be hoping for a third Runefall to continue their adventures --and of course, the game play.
