This game is not challenging, not timed, not anything but relaxing fun. I can watch movies or listen to the news without being distracted. Being an older player, the ability to change colors on the indicator is very helpful to these old eyes, because I try to finish each one without zooming, though the option is there.
I've purchased every version of this game and go back often to replay them. You don't have to create a new profile to do so. I really enjoy the textures in the finished "paintings." Some are truly beautiful, and I would hang them on my wall if I had the opportunity!
I usually turn the music and sound effects off because I listen to other media while playing, but it's pleasant music, for sure.
My only wish is that there were MORE pictures in the games for the price we pay. Otherwise, very nice.
I recommend this game!

Based on the trial version:
I love the bright colors used in this game, unlike other paint by numbers games which overuse greys and browns.
Easy to navigate.
Even though the cursor (a paintbrush) is big, it comes to a nice point that can be used for small areas without having to enlarge the image.
Overall pleasurable experience. I will most likely buy the full version.
I recommend this game!

I really wasted my money on this one.
Clutter used to be fun and visually exciting.
My last review was one of disappointment, but this was outright insulting, as I pleaded for better slider images in the next game - and here is nothing but a headache-inducing slew of letters and numbers that repeat over and over. Where's the pleasure in THAT?
The insulting part was that in between games, the graphics shown were beautiful, colorful and pleasant - which could have been used in the sliders but we were DENIED that for garbage, boring sliders. Really bad.
The box quotes are still great, I love solving them and love the quotes themselves.
The classic stuff is still fun.
I had to learn to like the rotating games, but I do.
Buy a previous version if you like clutter games, this one is a waste of money and energy.
I don't recommend this game.

Hi! I loved the first few clutter games. I have purchased each the moment it was released here. I won't be buying any more without checking them out first. Here's why:
1) the images hardly change from game to game. Something new would be great. Cats, dogs, buttons, coins, emojis, pictures of family members and family activities, they were cute the first time. Though I haven't seen any chocolates in this game. That always made me hungry for sweets.
2) Instead of clutter, we're getting more and more inane puzzle games that have no challenge to them, placing simple shapes where they fit over and over and over ad nauseum. Nothing like a good old classic jigsaw puzzle. These aren't that.
3) I love the sliders, but with the colorized bars you can't simply put the puzzle together based on the image, which is way too faint. Half the time I'm just flipping bars around to see if they fit. Turning off the colorization doesn't affect sliders. And, just like the classic clutter games, there's major overkill on the number of sliders in some of the puzzles. You can't even grab the bars, they are so thin. Also, there were a lot of nature pics in the last game, now it's a bunch of boring images of climbers or other uninteresting people.
4) The "classic clutter" category is increasingly ridiculous - working up to 400 matches - there's no screen space to put anything? Same stuff over and over again. Not fun.
5) I LOVE the quotation game. I don't love how the words are broken up, rather than made to fit any given line.
6) The cryptic home screen must drive people crazy. After the last game I was surprised to see it again. Just another annoyance.
6) I don't recommend this game if you already have any of the others. Sheer massive quantity does not make up for lack of quality. More is definitely not better here.
I don't recommend this game.

I jumped on buying the game after playing the demo because I really liked the variety of minigames (mahjong, match 3, jigsaw puzzles, etc.) that were available. However, I am extremely disappointed that I paid for a collector's edition that only has five HOP scenes and a boring progression of finding the same items again and again, and less than challenging minigames throughout.
If i had paid for a regular game, it might have been worth it, but I'm already bored with it. A waste of good money, in my opinion. Can I get my money back?
I don't recommend this game.

As expected, lots of fun levels and choices of puzzles! The only issue I have is that I like to do other things while playing (like watching movies) so I want to turn the sound on the game OFF. I am able to turn off the music, but not the sound effects. Strange. Otherwise, very enjoyable!
I recommend this game!

When I saw that there was a Hiddenverse to buy, I almost bought it outright, but luckily decided to play the demo first. I have all of the previous games, and though scoring was always too slow between games for me, past games were ultimately enjoyable.
This one was just about everything I don't like. Very slow transitions between games, way too much dialogue to muddle through that it took away the majority of the fun (way less gameplay than expected), the need to click on the book in the corner after clicking through inane conversation to see if there were enough stars to advance, and then the ultimate was while playing the "move items to the correct chest" where steaks and roasts were supposed to go into the fruit and veggie chest rather than the one designated for animals. Meat is animals. They couldn't get that basic fact right.
Something went very wrong with this one. My search for my next game continues.
I don't recommend this game.

I don't understand how this is a CE. Because you can play the four HOPs after finishing the game? Standards being lowered for CEs? Really fun game, though not long enough.
I recommend this game!

I love Clutter games. I've purchased them all...I purchased this one as soon as I saw it. Like many have said, figuring out how to change any settings on the game is like pulling teeth. ouch. And I thought the emojis and dogs and buttons etc were cute, but when they went on and on, game after game, with the same assortment of objects, I lost interest. I can't even find the setting to leave full screen, so I can watch the news at the same time. The sliders are still fun. Less of the personal stuff, more universal fun graphics would be nice. We know all about you and yours, Joe, and we love you, but something new (besides a million emojis and dogs) would be nice. The flowers are cool. And I see there's an update for the game...hopefully it's those elusive settings.
I recommend this game!

I LOVE the Cursed House series! So when I saw CH5, I immediately bought the game. It's the same fun game, with easy challenges (some of the HOPs are impossible for me, but fun nonetheless).
The thing that I gave the game a three-star rating for is that somehow the developer thinks that I'm stupid, and I need to be prompted as to what the goal is. I always play in "casual" because I like to take my time destroying all of the boxes and boulders, etc., before finishing the round. But the screen will go dark and freeze while I'm playing, to highlight the goal of the round. I have to click the screen anywhere to get it going again. It's so often that even when I speed up my play (and I'm good at match-3 games), I still get this silly, annoying prompt. They really need to fix this.
It would definitely get a 5-star rating if they did. As it is, it's frustrating and takes away from the fun of the gameplay.
I don't recommend this game.
