At first, this game was interesting and fun. As I went along, I found that I needed to click on one exact tiny spot to place an item. Frustrating! Later, I needed to use the hints more and more or be left wondering what to do. Frustrating! Then, the hint would tell me to zoom into an area and then it would tell me there was nothing to do in that area. That happened a few times. I had to resort to Big Fish's walkthrough. Frustrating! More and more often, the map said I was in area with an action to complete but if I left the area, the exclamation point would disappear. Meaning I didn't have an action to complete and I had just wasted my time checking over and over for what I thought I was missing. That happened so often that I learned to complete one action, leave the area and then check the map. Frustrating! Overall, a frustrating game that I do not recommend.

The graphics in this game were absolutely gorgeous! I saved several scenes to use as wallpaper. The story line was good at the beginning. I didn't like it when there was a major twist in the plot, which I won't give away so there's no spoiler. After that turn of the plot, the game wasn't quite as fun for me and that's about the time the graphics stopped being quite as gorgeous. The puzzles were solvable. I was surprised at quite a few when I solved them and then wondered how I did it, lol. My little gripe with the HOS is about one item in every puzzle or two doesn't look quite like the item pictured. Either the colour is way off or the shape is slightly different. But overall, the HOS were fun and quick to finish which I like.
I recommend this game!

The story seemed exciting at first but as the game went on, the story made less sense. The ending in particular didn't make sense to me. Good HOPS that were different than the usual because you have to find one item which you use to find the next, which you use to find the next, etc.. Frustrating mini-games because sometimes I completed them but the game still wouldn't recognize it unless I followed the exact steps in the walkthrough.

This was a long game but in a good way. You really get your money's worth. There are lots of different locations with different scenarios but it all ties into the story in a way that makes sense. There were a lot of fun puzzles and the thought that went into making them unique is obvious. A lot of thought also went into making many different characters like trees in love, a clown that wants a drink, and a door with moving heads. Overall, I really liked the game and think it is one of the better ones that I have played.

Overall, this was an okay game. The story went a little crazy for awhile. I didn't like the part where she was trying to get to the moon and went there. It was too far-fetched. However, I think it got better after that episode. It moved along nicely. There wasn't too much back-tracking. A lot of times, when the main character needed an item, she'd get it pretty quickly and, better yet, use it quickly. The part of the story told in the books felt dry to me. But the other parts were fine. I wouldn't recommend this game as I think there are better ones out there with more compelling stories.

I really enjoyed this game as a break from HOGs. I found putting the puzzles together oddly satisfying such that when I finished one level, I was ready for the next so I could keep on completing puzzles. The pictures were pretty, especially in Elf Grove. Some of the scenery was really nice for a simple mosaic puzzle.
I recommend this game!

While this type of storyline is a little too macabre for my taste, I did enjoy playing the game. I was able to complete all the puzzles and rarely needed a hint to move forward in the game. The story drew me in and I identified with the protagonist wanting to save her brother while being horrified with Jeffrey.

While I enjoyed this game overall, when I finished it, I was left with the feelings of frustration and disappointment. Too many times I had to use hints or skip puzzles. I never skip puzzles but I had to skip two of these puzzles. The marble puzzle with the rings seems to have a problem because I got all the red marbles in the large centre ring but there were not enough to fill the ring. There were more purple and green marbles though. I also had to use hints to figure out what to do next a couple of times in the bonus chapter. The map wouldn't always give me a clue. That really frustrates me. It shouldn't be that convoluted as to know the next step. It's not much fun playing a game when you have to let the game make moves for you.
This game was okay but nothing exciting. I didn't love the different locations that the main character had to visit. The puzzles and hos were good though. The puzzles were the right level of difficulty for me. I liked having to put some items together in the hos. I made good use of the map to direct me where to go next. I didn't get caught up in the story though because not every action made sense to the story line. As well, the ending was anti-climatic.

The game was okay. There wasn't a map to show if an area had something to do. The hint was pretty bad. If you had something to do, it would only highlight that item. For example, you might be stuck trying to find a key for a door. The hint will only circle the door and not direct you to the key. Searching for items like that made the game tedious. At the very end, I lost the desire to persevere on my own and used a game walk-through for help with one item. Also, the ghosts talk to you in some detail which seemed far-fetched.
