Liked the beautiful sorceress and the bright, fairy tale style graphics (which look much better in the game than they do in the screenshots). Wasn't so crazy about the game play, which is flipping levers to divert balls of different colors into corresponding pots. That's pretty much the game, with some variations thrown in. It's worth trying to see if that kind of game appeals to you, especially if you like flipping levers in pinball games.

A straight-forward match 3 game that allows you to create beautiful animated aquariums with the money you win. Easy enough for match 3 newbies and a low-stress game for others. Animations and graphics are really beautiful (more so than the preview shots show). I just wish the matching icons were a little bigger and popped out more from the tile backgrounds. The tone-on-tone (e.g., blue jellyfish on blue tile) can be a little more work for tired eyes, older eyes, and young kids. This game gives you a screensaver so you can enjoy your aquariums even when you're not playing. Nice game.
I recommend this game!

I've never seen the show, but the dialogue in the game is completely inconsequential and bloody boring. Even worse, the dialogue slides move excruciatingly slowly, and your only recourse is to skip the dialogue altogether. The hidden objects can be very small or just a faint outline impossible to see without using a hint, at which time the scene switches to black and white with the HO in yellow. But if you wait a few seconds, the scene reverts to normal so that you can see what the object looked like -- and I could still swear that it wasn't there before. Be aware that there is some "translation," for example what Americans call a crescent wrench is a "spanner" in the game. Artwork is nice and bright, just not necessarily recognizable. Only played a couple of scenes, and didn't have the patience to continue.

I've played several Slingo games (a combination of a slot machine and bingo) and own the Hawaii one. I like the improved graphics, the clean playing field (without all the busy graphics of other versions), and the large slot machine numbers which are easy to see even for the visually impaired, or without your glasses. The instructions are better, but still not perfect. The game seems more streamlined and easier to play.
I like that you earn various power-ups and options that you get to customize from among 6 different categories. It keeps the game fresh, and lets you mix and match game features with every level. In the options menu, you have the option to eliminate the mini-games with the devil, which I found really annoying in other versions. These mini-games are more sleight-of-hand and take just seconds, and no nonsense with the devil stealing points at random (unless you play the classic option). If you are new to Slingo, this is a great one to try. Fine for all ages, and a great game for those with limited mouse and computer skills.
I recommend this game!

In an hour of play, I learned very little about dealing with clutter, but there was an interesting, non-stop variety of unique matching games to play. Lots of customizable options. The he said – she said component was novel – and it worked. Loved the quotes.
I recommend this game!

Interesting storyline, easy-to-read mahjong tiles, some with special powers. Background graphics are so-so. Loved the music. There is a timer, but I had plenty of time to play.

An inlay puzzle where you match shapes only, not colors. You are working against a timer and a "conveyor belt" as you fit pieces into the puzzles, and what keeps it a manageable task are the power-ups which provide extra time, and the robotic-looking spiders (not scary!) which drop extra pieces off the board if you are running behind. While creating the inlays, you are also piecing together magical talismans for additional power-ups. As the puzzles are completed, hidden sections of a magical scene are revealed. The artwork is really lovely, with an interesting storyline (although sometimes a little obscure!). I would have bought it, but I already have one similar to it.
A tip: to complete the puzzles most efficiently, inlay the pieces first that require multiple matches. They will be marked with a number like 2 or 3, meaning you have to fill in that inlay piece 2 or 3 times.
I recommend this game!

I just played the one-hour trial, so I can't speak to the development of the "mystery." There's a difference between saying something is mysterious, and demonstrating it, and the storyline and hidden object activities were weak in developing a sense of mystery. Liked the artwork, the beginning of the story, and that I could actually figure out what to do with the artifacts -- most of the time.
On the flip side, there was a little too much wandering back and forth from room to room, and the hidden objects and artifacts could be tough to find. But just having artifacts wasn't enough to proceed in the game. Hints were not helpful, as they merely pointed to something that needed to be solved, without providing any suggestions as to what to do next or how to find the artifact needed.

Decent graphics, an interesting storyline, and an entertaining tie-in to the TV show are not enough to keep this game from being practically unplayable. I've never seen them use a magnifying glass on the TV show, but that's what you'll need to find most of these hidden objects. Oddly, the hidden objects are miniaturized in proportion to the other objects in the scenes, and most of the object will be hidden behind something. So I ended up clicking on bits and pieces of things to find most of the objects. But clicking at random is not the point of a hidden object game. Definitely preview this game before buying.
I don't recommend this game.

You rotate tiles until the vines connect two or more flowers, which causes the tiles to break. It’s a simpler version of a connect-the-pipes puzzle because you don’t have to connect all of them at once. I am really bad at connect-the-pipes puzzles, but surprisingly, this was doable for me on the normal untimed setting. I only played a couple of levels, though, as these kinds of puzzles are "work" for me. This strikes me as a “special-interest” game. I think your brain will love it or find it frustrating. Graphics are not bad, although the fairies are the strangest looking I’ve ever seen. Animations are nice, especially since this is a 2006 game.
