This is one of the first games I ever purchased and it was well worth it. The game features an engaging storyline based on a short story by Edgar Allan Poe (if you haven't read it, you definitely should). The graphics are amazing. Along with the music, they create a wonderfully gothic/romantic atmosphere, totally in keeping with the time period and literary genre of Poe. The puzzles are really nice, not too hard or too easy, and there are plenty of them along with a nice mix of HO scenes. Definitely recommend this game to anyone, but especially to Poe fans.

This is a great game, well worth the money. If you like brick busting, paddle and ball games, this one won't disappoint. The great thing about it is that the options available make the game infinitely re-playable, giving you a lot of bang for your buck.
The main game play is the Ricochet Infinity quest, which requires you to finish 14 or so different "planets", each one with multiple levels. The difficulty increases as you progress, but you can set your own difficulty level in the game options so that it can be as hard or as easy as you like. Once you finish the quest, another possible quest is unlocked.
But the real treat here are the hundreds of user made levels available to play. They can be accessed any time from the main menu. You will need an active internet connection in order to download them into the game, but once you do it opens up an endless amount of boards to play.
Also the nice thing about being able to set your own difficulty level is that anyone can enjoy this game, whether they want a challenge or are just looking to relieve some tension by busting a few bricks. It even has a "Kids" mode, so that little ones can play without fear of losing. I let my 4 year old nephew play using Kids mode and one of the many user made Kids levels and he loved it.

The concept of this game is ok, and it seemed promising before purchase. But the execution was lacking. The hidden object scenes are alright but nothing exciting or different. The puzzles are another story. Many of them are nigh on impossible to figure out except by random clicking, and they don't seem to be motivated by logic at all. The game play can be confusing as well, since what you need to do next is often unclear. Objects you collect can be used, but it's difficult to figure out for what at times. The graphics are quite nice in this but the frustrating game play kind of makes them a waste.

This game is amazing. First, the story is really great and detailed and really draws you in. Some thought definitely went into it. The atmosphere of the game is great, from the detailed scenes to the creepy music and sound effects. It really immerses you in the game play. I loved the puzzles and hidden object scenes. They were fun and challenging but not boring or needlessly complicated. The Collector's Edition was well worth it, for the bonus game play and the goodies (wallpaper, music files). This is a must buy!

This was a very nice game. The story is a good twist on the Robin Hood legend. The graphics were quite nice and the puzzles and hidden object scenes quite enjoyable. It's a short game, only a few hours, but still a lot of fun.
I recommend this game!

I've been a big fan of the Slingo games over the years, but this one wasn't that great. There were too many challenges and hidden devils and the like. I got stuck on one board about halfway through the game, and no matter how many times I played it, I could not beat it and move on, which kind of ruined the whole game for me.

This game is hard to review. Some parts of it were very entertaining and well done, while other parts were very boring and frustrating. The puzzles were mostly easy except one or two that were extremely difficult to the point of being annoying.
The story was interesting at first, but then it just sort of replayed itself with every new ghost, so it quickly became boring.
The graphics are nice, especially if you like cartoon style graphics.

I've already reviewed Drawn, the game, and I gave it five stars. It really is incredible. So this review will be talking about the merits of the strategy guide ONLY.
I was disappointed with the strategy guide. I bought it not only for the strategy guide, but because of the promised extras, since Drawn: The Painted Tower doesn't have a Collector's Edition available. But the extras were quite disappointing. There were only a few wallpapers, when there are many beautiful scenes in the game that would make great desktops. The description for the strategy guide says that music from the game is included, but actually there were only 4 tracks of the many in the game. And you could only listen to them, there was no way to save them to your computer so you could hear them again. There was a slideshow for the concept art, which was nice. A screensaver is also included, but it was rather blurry on my 1440x900 monitor.
Based on all this, I recommend that you just buy the game, but skip the strategy guide.

I cannot recommend this game enough. It's really an amazing game, and more than that, it's a beautiful work of art.
You won't find any Hidden Object scenes here. This is pure point and click adventure gaming at its finest. You find items and use them in a variety of puzzles and tasks as you make your way to the top of the painted tower in order to save Iris, the little girl whose magical artwork comes alive, and who made the tower, both her refuge and her prison, in her own image.
The graphics are incredible. The stylized illustration is perfect for the theme of the game, and makes the fantasy escape complete. The music is hauntingly beautiful and varied. There must be a good 15-20 different tracks that play throughout the game, which means that unlike most games, you won't grow weary of the soundtrack. The cut scenes are few but extremely well done. I found myself wishing that BigFish was in the animated film business, and would make a feature length animated movie to go with the game.
The puzzles are original and inventive, providing both challenge and fun. And yet there's a beautiful logic to everything that makes for very satisfying gameplay. If you need a hint, a helpful character is there to provide them, but they're hints, not solutions, which is nice if you need a nudge but still want to solve the puzzle yourself.
The story is mysterious. They give you just enough detail to keep the game interesting, but in the end we're still left with a lot of pieces missing and questions to be answered. Yet it's not an unsatisfying conclusion; at the end of the game you will have completed your immediate goal.
All in all a wonderful game, well worth the money. I look forward to playing the sequels!

I loved the storyline for this game. It is rather similar to Drawn (young girl draws things that become real; is threatened by mysterious malevolent force), I suppose, but with enough differences that it doesn't seem too derivative. At any rate, the story leads to some very nice and inventive game play. Not your typical puzzles which makes for a nice change.
The music and graphics are quite well done, especially the cut scenes. The atmosphere can be quite creepy, especially during the "nightmare" scenes. Still chilled by one where the little girl was coloring on the porch, and then she suddenly turns around...
The game seemed sufficiently long to me, about 4 or 5 hours. The way the story ends is a bit of a twist, and kind of disturbing in a way, so I can see why some people didn't like it, but I didn't find it confusing.
