The demo seemed original, with unique mini games and colorful scenery. Everything went downhill after the demo portion was over. The plot became predictable, colors more muted, tasks tedious. I always say try before you buy, but with this game it gave a false impression.
I don't recommend this game.

I really wanted to like this game, but after 30 minutes and 8 or 9 puzzles, I just couldn't go on. There is very little difference between puzzles, the colors are pretty much the same in each one. It says there are 25 countries so unless you get more options for each country, it seems like it might be a short game since I went through over a third of the countries in those 30 minutes I played.
I don't recommend this game.

Most recent hidden object games have you going back and forth, back and forth, gathering silly items in one place to use on another silly item in a different place. Secret Investigations is pure hidden object with a few mini-games thrown in. Each scene is different; no repeats, but you have the challenge of getting 3 stars in each scene so I replay them until I do. If you enjoy searching for hidden objects, you will love the game. Don't let the low reviews here keep you away. Play the demo and see for yourself
I recommend this game!

This game is very similar to those games that are free on Big Fish. You have to use "energy" to play each scene, and when you run out of "energy" you have to buy more. To begin with, there are only 3 items to find in each scene and you must play the same scenes over and over and over again before progressing. There are no instructions and the tutorial is useless as it only points on things to click on; it doesn't tell you why you are doing it. I am amazed that this game ever even was put up for sale here.
I don't recommend this game.

So many of these HOP games have become clones of each other. What I find refreshing with about this one is that the HOS and the mini games have a unique twist to them that makes me look forward to encountering one. I also will probably replay this game, which is rare for me.
I recommend this game!

Even though I muted all sounds, sounds still play. Of course, the simple fix is to mute my laptop, but I see this as a flaw in the game that needs to be fixed.
Other than that, I found the mini games new and refreshing; challenging, but not too hard. The colors, as you can see in the screen shots, are vivid and crisp.
I recommend this game!

I felt like I was playing a game from 10+ years ago. Also, there was more dialogue than game play. Sometimes I think BF just brings out these losers because they promise a new game each day.
I don't recommend this game.

I deleted the demo after playing for 25 minutes. This game reminds me of games made 10 or more years ago. The gameplay is clumsy, the graphics are poor, there doesn't appear to be a hint button or a map. I think you might get the hint icon as some point as there was a gap on the lower, right side. If you are at all interested in this game, probably based on the title, please play the demo first. You will probably be glad you didn't waste a credit on it.
I don't recommend this game.

The bonus game was very, very short. The game is good, but the bonus game is not worth the extra money of the CE cost. Also, as many others have mentioned, the game froze on me twice.
I don't recommend this game.
