The reviews on this varied....so I tried the trial....I didn't make it through even the 60 minutes....I wasn't impressed with the graphics and I thought the story was insipid.....Sorry folks....but it was definitely not worth Collector's price and wouldn't even buy the standard version......Yes, the hidden objects were ok, but pretty simplistic....
I would think a very younger female "might" like the game.
I don't recommend this game.

The Graphics were good....not a lot of use of the "grey color" I have come to hate in searching for hidden objects in some games....and the Graphics themselves I liked...
And the story line was pretty good....
I probably could have waited for the SE, althought the Walkthrough did help me a lot figuring out where to go next....Overall I thought the Game was Good But not Great....
I recommend this game!

I liked the graphics of the people and places, the ones in color....I DID NOT LIKE all the looking for Pieces of things in GREY you had to find and put together---that gets old REALLY QUICK...I don't want to spend hours doing that...
Cheap way to try to make the game harder?? or last?? don't really like that.....I have played too many of these games and putting together grey pieces of this just doesn't thrill...me, I guess it is cheap for the developer to recycle those and use them... I may buy the game when it comes out in standard...I don't really know because of the above comments. I gave it a 4 rating for Visual but that is only for the Characters and scenery, not for the grey pieces of things you have to assemble.

The Story line was ok, sort of, but then it had you running in sooooo many circles each time to go to a place you could uncover something useful...I felt it got REALLY tedious.
I am not into spending all my time with my mouse (I get hand cramps) going back and forth ad nauseum, just to find one thing you need to progress in the game....becames boring.
I don't recommend this game.

I enjoyed this game. I played this based on others reviews....and was very pleased with the game for standard price...i.e., no Collectors Edition price....I just find that for the money, the Collectors edition don't really give me things I want, ie. Screen savers..guide, etc., for the extra money they charge I don't think it is worth the money if you play Big Fish all the time. I mean, how many screensavers, etc. etc. do you want?? I never use the Big Fish ones anyway, my computer is set to sleep when nothing is going on....saves energy and the monitor.
I recommend this game!

I started this game a looooong time ago....and it was so convoluted I gave up in many places...by the time I had played numerous other purchases, I finally came back to this game and ONLY because I had paid for the game...Completed it with the help of free walkthrough...Even with the walkthrough it had become Ad Tedium for me...I have NEVER been so Glad to complete one of these games....miserable game that I will never never play again...
I don't recommend this game.

The story line was ok (acutally could have been good) ...but I think the Developer relies too much on the use of Monochromatic (dark colors) to make the games challenging. However I find the use of monochromatic graphics a cheap way for them to try and make a game challenging (?) because you can't see items in HOS....however, it annoys the heck out of me...Instead of really offering better or newer HOS items, they just rehash--to save money and time of developing new graphics...This DOES not Meet my level of what should be in a GOOD Collectors Edition game...for Collectors games they should do better than this....Shame on developers!!!! Shame on me If I continued to buy rehashed monochromatic graphics at CE prices.... Get a grip folks....
I don't recommend this game.

This game was worth the Collector's Edition price...the graphics were great, not just a re-hash of previous graphics, the story line was good...Went to a lot of places in the story which held my interest....I would recommend it to anyone who likes a magical but I what I felt a good story line....the graphics didn't seem terribly re-used like some other games. If you like a magical line, it was good....now I can't wait for the follow-on game to this one....and the Guide was worth it for this game.
I recommend this game!
