What a disappointment. It's like they renamed Legendary Mosaics, which concept I didn't like: just nonograms and too much talk after completing each group of 10. Unless they change it back to normal, I won't be buying it anymore.
I love mosaics games, and my favorite is the Travel Mosaics from the same developer. So I sincerely hope this is not a replacement as I'd rather do a nice puzzle instead of clicking through a, sometimes, long dialogue.
I love the Travel Mosaics series. Especially having the puzzles at the end of every level. I really enjoyed the puzzle where the squares 'drop', very challenging but fun! The reason I haven't given it 5 stars is because of the 'fireworks' levels. It's very distracting and I almost felt like passing those levels altogether.
The only 'match' this game has with reference to H.C. Andersen, is that it takes place on the Danish island Funen where he was born. As I'm not a fan of any one developer or series, I judge a game in itself. And found this excellent. Some of the puzzles are new, and can be challenging. The FROG's are in themselves good, but I don't care much about this aspect of the game. The map (which I needed quite a few times) is very helpful. I loved the graphics. I don't play with sound, so can't say anything about that.
I like these kind of games and have bought this one. As mentioned the pictures are very colorful, though some of them have many 1's and 2's which makes it challenging. I've given it a four stars, cause the other puzzles are the same as in Spring in Japan.
Another Fantasy Mosaics that hasn't changed much. The cursor still doesn't 'stay' on the line, even if you miss a tile or two. Very annoying if you have a line of 20 tiles (and a not so steady hand anymore). And if you go to the next color (cause the first is hard to start with) and finish it, it goes back to the first color instead of the next in line. I've mentioned this before, so I won't be buying this one.
