I know the story line has been done before, but I still thought it was interesting. The beginning was fine, even with the rather silly map "puzzle," and the idea that someone would think they couldn't find their way anywhere without a GPS.
Faith should be in good hands, since people seem to like the doctor, but things go downhill immediately, and without logic or reason. Suddenly, without being hypnotized, I (her brother) am hypnotized and in some dream world where I am faced with a puzzle of dolls' heads and floating eyes. There was absolutely nothing to draw me further into this game. I have all the Phantasmat games and while some are much better than others (first being the greatest), they've all been worth playing. This one, for me, isn't even worth finishing the demo.

However, even though the graphics were good, and it had an interesting story line and I'd like to find out what happens next, I am not interested in seconds long blackouts between scenes. Is the purpose to make the game seem longer? Whatever it is, it has made this game a "no purchase" for me.
Purchased this for something different as a game I didn't have to think about. Story line made no sense, but I wasn't playing it for the story. Background sounds are not annoying at all. Progressed with some backtracking to level 8 when for some reason, I stopped being able to click on things. I'd click on one object and another one entirely would start blinking. I finally gave up. I liked the mini games with the choices for M3, HO, and Concentration, but I can't finish the game because it isn't working properly. If it had, I'd give it a 4 star rating, but as it is, I have to say 1 star is all it deserves.

Interesting story line with slightly older characters, which was nice for a change. Some of the music was annoying, but could be turned down. Puzzles were just right for me. Unfortunately, I can only give it two stars because I was unable to play the bonus game. I had the message that I had to find all morphing objects to play the bonus game, which I had done. I guess without help, I'll be sticking to Standard Editions from now on.
Confront an ancient evil and uncover your true! After a startling revelation changes your world forever, you must embark on an epic journey to save mankind.
I found the story line difficult to follow. I found some of the puzzles impossible (the second last battle, because I simply could not make anything work), and a couple of the solutions, bizarre. The ending was totally unsatisfactory. The music was OK. The graphics attractive. The HOs were clear enough, but OTW, I disliked the game and only finished it because I don't like leaving games unfinished. I would never recommend it.
Purchased this game on sale after reading that the tech. issue with the black screen had been resolved. It hasn't been. After some advice from customer support and muddling around, I managed to get past that part.
The rest of the game? Puzzles that were difficult to solve because of controller issues, hidden objects that blended so well into the background, it was difficult to see them even with a hint, illogical solutions for problems. I finished the game, but I celebrated along with the inhabitants of the kingdom, that it was over!
I purchased this game as a DD a short time ago. I thought this would be a light, easy game and worth the price of a DD. I was wrong. The first part wasn't bad...but oh my. Silly, repetitious, boring, and frustrating. The only reason I finished the game was because I was determined to get my money's worth. I was happy when it ended, because if I had had to dust off one more thing (a seemingly endless chore in this game), I would have been tearing out my hair.
