I found this game clever. More than once it had me connect the clues. It drove me nuts that the Souvenirs were locked even after I finished the bonus chapter. Well, digging around paid off I figured it out. The souvenirs are always connected to the collectibles. You always have to finish the collectibles first. This is a clue.
You can go back and retrieve any of the collectibles you missed. All of the collectibles. The 10 cassette tapes that you can play and all of them are different. The 16 morphs. The 34 moths.
This game is dark in the story and in the scenes. It lacks color. The couple Martha and Mark Spencer do switch off in the game. The bonus chapter is about the Paranormal hour team.
My favorite hops were the tea set and the scribbles. I liked most of the mini-games. I had to turn off all but the voices at most places because of the shrilly sounds hurt my ears. That isn't new from this maker.
The Artists seeking inspiration have their patron muse Calliope. She is missing and they need our help.
This game came out in June 2015 and is second in this series. The hops are plentiful and most are interactive. The puzzles are relaxed and are the one's I liked.
The extras are collecting olives with leaves to spend on furnishing your Boudoir. Finding coins in vases to buy Interface to decorate your tool bar. 5 music, 11 concept art and 20 wallpaper. Since some hops are lovely and the mini-puzzles are to my liking. I would have like to have replays. No replays on hops or mini-puzzles. This was disappointing.
This series started out with a small doll to do your bidding. This game changed Harlequin to a Barbie like doll where the first one was more of a invention. It wasn't so bad until you see a picture with a actual doll that wasn't so good. If they drew her picture, it would of been better.
I liked the throwbacks to other Domini games. I didn't mind using things to further my tasks. Magical palette, enchanted tuning fork and mystical notebook. They were by the hints and you pick them up when you want to use them. In the bonus chapter you have to power up the medallion with music. Picking it up to get the music and then picking up the medallion and use it on things.
I would recommend this game only for those who like the things I mentioned. I had fun.
A famous Dwarven explorer was heading a expedition for over ten years to find the Merfolk kingdom that disappeared over five hundred years ago. The explorer was found petrified. Merfolk are under the sea creatures and they don't have tails. They have legs.
This is a long game and I stopped on chapter 5 to write this review. It has 7 chapters. I liked the gameplay, story and most puzzles. The hops are more puzzle-like which I didn't like but not so bad that they drove me crazy. A deciphering book hops had all symbols to find. I rather have a pretty picture and a list of items. One hop had you make a formula. Not so fun for hop lovers. I think the trial stopped on the later part of chapter 2.
I liked the collectibles. 13 morphing statuettes of Morfolk with info, 15 pages of sea people and 36 starfish to buy sea creatures for your aquarium. It has replays on 18 hops, 21 mini-games, 21 video and 5 music. 11 Wallpaper and 10 concept art.
They have some unique loveable and not so loveable creatures. You have special glasses to see pass the magic protecting the city.
I was a bit unnerved when I first saw the beginning but after a while when I heard good reviews I got the SV. I'm just getting around to it and I liked it and it seemed long to me. 14 hops with lists just how I like them.
The mark is on their arm, not hand. I didn't like the sound in a certain place with a constantly barking dog but besides that I liked it.
I liked this more than I thought I would. It was relaxing with plenty of hidden objects with lists, just how I like them. Didn't have much back and forth. Not a lot of put this here or there. Not complicated.
This is the second in the series with Old Tower being the first. I liked the first one more but this is good. Had 18 hops.
I meet James at the Prime Hotel to meet a horror story writer.
I love the special effects and the extras galore. Morphs in the scenes 30. Morphs in the Secret Room 68. 20 puzzle pieces to find, 14 characters to find. Replays on hops and mini-games.
Mary and Aaron Fletcher are thrown into a mystery again! This is the second in the series with Welcome to hidden pines being the first. I liked the throw back to Dead Reckoning.
In my opinion the game starts out slow but builds. The more I played the more I liked it. I liked this one so much more than the first one in the series. I really enjoyed it.
I would of liked the hops to be just lists but some are interactive and more puzzle like and I'm a hops player. The mini-games run easy to difficult. Very mixed. (Checkers to a puzzle I couldn't figure out with the guide as I bought the CE- the flagmen puzzle.) I would of liked all the puzzles easy. The arrow puzzle you can't skip but you mark it and don't shoot it.
I play as Margaret, a seeker who can go to different worlds. The weather is now extreme cataclysms. Starting to follow the person responsible leads me to the Bermuda Triangle. The journey begins.
Collect 69 tokens (to me look like dog tags) to buy animals for your Magic Zoo. Collect 15 wanted posters and 21 cards.
I like how colorful the game is and I had my share of monsters and evil spirits lately so this is refreshing. Liked the different places I went. I was playing and look up and hours went by. The thing I would change would be more list hops and less of the story or this + that hops.
33 Cutscenes, Replay 18 hops, 20 mini-games and 5 music. 17 wallpapers and 20 concept art.
Based on the finished game with bonus content. Three little girls are some where they shouldn't be and do something they shouldn't. Fast forward Thirty years. I play as Princess Airrin. My mom is Queen Lilith. My aunts are Miranda and Sylvia. I am the one who is to save the Fire Lion Kingdom.
There are 10 hops and 14 mini-games in the game. Collect 15 spirits cards and 26 morphs. You have indicators if you found your items. The lion on the tool bar is for the morphs and if it's yellow, you need to find it. You can only collect the morph when it's a Lion. The card indicator is on the side and only has the number that you found.
It has 3 chapters and bonus chapter and it felt very long to me. In the bonus chapter Miranda gets a letter and she is put to the test. The bonus chapter also felt long.
Replays on 9 movies, 10 hops, 14 mini-games and 4 music. 10 wallpapers, 8 screensavers and 18 concept art.
The hops are lovely to look at. Some are used more than once. Sparkling owl means there is a morph in the hops. Most have a morph in them. Most hops are interactive and are nice but I would have liked a list more.
I liked collecting the spying bats as they would spark to flight when you found them. If you find all of them you open a hidden puzzle in the end. You can find the ones you missed. It has a indicator on the side as to how many and if you found them all.
The different colored coins found in the zoom areas can be exchanged for magical creatures once you have enough coins. They have legend info for that creature and you have to use the color it wants for every one.
The story is sad as to what needs to be done. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. I did like going to different Guardian worlds. The ship and captain was my favorite world.
Replays on 16 hops, 14 mini-games, 19 movies, 8 music, 14 wallpapers and 10 concept art.
