I really LOVE this game. Some levels are easy...but others are quite challenging, and take several tries to beat the clock. The scenery changes and it's so much fun to build each scenario...there is a theme to it. It is definitely fun and worth buying!

LOVE this game! Like creating the avatar's looks/colors, love the way the game proceeds, REALLY love being able to decorate (just wish it was more than the living room!). Like the way the stores, clothing, cars and fun things to do are graphically presented...and just love those gnomes!!!

Liked the music...can't say anything better than that. No challenge...you could just click your mouse repeatedly as you go over your screen and you'll complete the level without even knowing quite what or how you managed to accomplish it. In other words, I found you didn't have to think...just click!

I am really pleased with the graphics, there was some improvement from the first, love the addition of the medical staff and hospitals...you'll have to play it to discover the rest of the fun things that were added... :D! And you will have to really think out your strategy on a lot of these levels! You will have fun with this one!

Life Quest was one of the first games I bought from BFG, and still play it often. #2 improved in the city layout and background. I am very disapponted in the silly cartoonish quality given to the graphics in the characters, clothing, cars, and not being able to eat at home. The decorating of the home looks rediculous, too. The changes in the game play and how challenges are done is fun, and I like the addition of friendships, so I went ahead and bought it. However, the first one is still my favorite!

Visually appealing-yes, musically appealing-yes, play appealing-no. Found it to be so repetitive it became irritating VERY quickly. Personally...I found no challenge to this game and became so very bored with it within minutes. My vote...don't spend your money on this one.

LOVE this game...play it at least once a week! There are definite strategies to making the money you need just to meet your needs...but once you find your "path", the money will be rolling in! Love the extras in this game, do wish they had dating/marriage/child(ren) as part of the choices. BFG, tell the game designers it IS possible to have both a career AND family! LOADS of fun!

Very funny, zany ideas from your townspeople get thrown your way, after all, YOU are the Mayor! How you lay out/group your businesses does matter. Challenges keep popping up, sometimes overwhelmingly so...but then it would be too easy and you'd get bored if they didn't! You'll have fun with this one!

When you start with your first and second generation(s) of families, it is challenging to have enough money to keep up with their needs and "wants" (they actually email you when they want something!), after that it's like sitting here watching the grass grow. LDOW needs to look at Life Quest and Path to Success for some ideas to add to a new version of this. This would be the absolute ultimate game if the player could redecorate the house and landscaping with each new generation...that would add so much. Even so, you'll love your peeps and will want to keep taking care of them!

I did like the new approach with the backgrounds, the tiles are colorful, music is nice...but that's where my "good comments" end. As you progress, the board gains more tiles and you would think that would become more challenging. However, the longest it took me to solve any was a whopping 3:25! I am sorry, but I would not recommend spending your money on this one. Mahjong games are what I cut my baby teeth on when I started gaming. I've played MUCH better ones than this!
