So your driving along having nightmares about a corn field and low and behold you crash near a cornfield. Then the creepy motel looms into the picture as you come across other stranded guests. What great fun...I have not completed the entire game yet but am looking forward to it! I just wanted to leave a review while the game was still new. Lots of little surprises and weird scary happenings to say the least.
Graphics are good and the mini puzzles are quite unique and fun!!
Great spooky factor throughout the game, the music is actually fitting and adds to the atmosphere of the game and I am one that usually shuts the music off due to annoyance.
I have to say it makes your hair stand on end as you move through creepy locations, such as the pitch black basement , all the while knowing their is something unnatural down there with you.
This game has all the factors and is worth the purchase! Don't miss out on this one.

The game overall was o.k. I found the story line good and I liked the whole painting portal idea. Mini games were varied and fun. My biggest issue with the game is not that "I don't get it" as others put it, it is that in order to do anything you have to back track continually to find where to place one of the 20 inventory items you have. There is a map but no way to use the map to project to other areas of the game so that equates to you traveling back and forth and back some more. Then your not even sure you are going to the right place, because you have had your inventory items too long to remember where to use them. I don't mind a little back tracking but if the map would indicate areas that still have tasks to do at least it wouldn't be a repetitive Russian roulette of locating your next task. I really appreciate the key contributors and other who submit reviews, they are very helpful when purchasing a game, but to the key contributor that wanted to demean those who didn't agree with his/her take on the game I would say...just because people don't agree with you doesn't make them dim, wrong and "unable to get it", it just means everyone has their own opinion and they are ALL helpful. No need to be rude. It is a somewhat enjoyable game if you don't mind traveling to every location to find a task, I found that frustrating and too time consuming to be enjoyable but to each their own.
I recommend this game!

I enjoyed this game, a little twist from the norm in the story. The house effects were quite good and the story line kept it going. You can teleport via the map which I love. The puzzles and games were fun with enough difficulty to keep it interesting. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is I just do not like when they use real people in a game, it gives it a hokey quality to me. The story was cool and believable if not for the poor performances in the cut scenes. But the game is definitely worth the purchase and I would purchase a sequel to it.

Nice little story..your on a ghost tour and when you arrive things go terribly wrong. The effects are fun, while not mind blowing its really enjoyable. I was kept interested throughout the game, mini games were fun with some level of difficulty but no real stumper's. Map was nice and made traveling through the game easy and fast. Overall ki really liked it, music was not annoying, bright enough to see. i look forward to the seqeul!

Loved this game! Great story line and really unique graphics, very cartoonish and cute!!! Loved the frogs and the witch. Mini games were not too difficult and a different than usual variety. This game was a lot of fun to play, I wish it had gone on longer because I enjoyed it so much. I have to say the only negative was no map so you did have to back track throughout the game but SO minor in comparison to the fun feel to the game. I rarely watch the cut scenes in any game but this one I thoroughly enjoyed the cut scenes. What great fun, I will be first in line to order the sequel of this game!! Great job!! My grandchildren could play this too, no blood guts or gore so suitable for any age.
I recommend this game!

Bought the game and began playing and thought "this may be a fun game, a little different then the regular" BUT the navigation is terrible, you can't get through 2 moves on the screen and a map comes up with an invisible person leaving foot prints all over the map, I assume to load the next section of the game. This goes on every couple moves you make and it takes it literally 2-3 minutes to load the next three steps your going to make. Even when you exit the game, the same map comes up for about 1 min to save your info. What a shame, I can't stand playing it because I play for 2 minutes and load for 3-4. It had potential...maybe its a bug, idk but not worth the hassle
I don't recommend this game.

If you like match three games then Spooky Bonus is right up your alley! I had a lot of fun with this. Great way to unwind after to much thinking at work. Addicting fun, love the sounds incorporated throughout. Thanks for a good time, I hated to see it end, so lets get another one out there. I will gladly buy your next version :)

Nice game with some cute touches. Your mother has been kidnapped by the evil Queen and you have 3 fairy godmothers that also have been captured. You must release all 3 fairy godmothers to have the power to save your mother. There are a lot of HOS and puzzles, but all are easily conquered.
Pros:
Custom settings for hint recharge.
Fun touches like a magic wand that helps you break things open, change animals from inanimate to animate so they can assist you and so on. Also, you have wind and growth powers that you use along the way.
The talking mandrakes were a cute touch!

Over all the game was really cute and a fun easy play for a rainy day. Would love to see the game with longer game play. I enjoyed the story line and the idea behind the story.

Game was o.k. To much back and forth for my liking. You literally have to go way back and forth not just a few screens. Hint system is what aggravated me, I don't use hints much but if your really struck and you hit hint it tells you "nothing left to do here" or "look in another location" which send you back through each screen to see what you're missing. A little intrigue is always good but this is monotonous! Story was pretty cool and graphics were good, that's why 3 stars were given. It just seems your stuck more often then not and constantly going back through to find the tiny thing you missed. Maybe the CE is better because you at least have something to refer to when you get stuck. I am really easy to please with these games, I just enjoy playing them, but this annoyed me to the point I deleted it prior to even finishing. A shame really because I liked the story line and the game play and enjoyed the few HOS they had. I like a game with less HOS so they were very well balanced. They just needed to change the hint system to be more user friendly. Would only purchase if you have a freebie and alot of time and patience.
I don't recommend this game.

Had fun with this one. There was a lot more participation required from the player than usual and it added a cool effect to the game. No puzzles which I really liked, few HOS scenes but again a lot of interaction to find what you needed. All in all it was a unique and fun experience. I look forward to more from this developer!!!
