So I, like many, have been disappointed with the last few MCF games so I had very little expectations with the latest title. I read some of the reviews and thought, "Ok, another subpar edition to the once classic franchise". I saw the BOGO sale for Labor Day and decided, since there wasn't a whole lot to choose from, that I'd "try" the latest MCF game. So, yeah, it's not your typical MCF game, but man... I loved this game! If you take away the MCF name, it seriously is one of the best hidden object/adventure games that I've played in a while. Although the graphics were cartoonish, the storyline was really good and I thoroughly enjoyed the HOS which varied a great deal. The puzzles were fine, although I still pine for the old "full screen", no help, no guidance puzzles. And the voice acting was really good. So glad I took a chance and tried this game out and not sorry at all that I purchased it and got another for free! Hats off to Grandma studios for making me excited for this franchise again.
I recommend this game!

I don't leave many reviews but I had to this time. This game is great if you loved the original MCF games... which is what got me hooked on HO games. Yes it's not "state of the art" or "advancing the genre" but it's what it says, REWIND... to a great time and experience! I loved it and the Timed mode which made me want to work faster and achieve this goal above all else. It's not an adventure game but those have become so old hat, they are really boring! Need a key, oh there's one - need a piece of a lock, hmmm, oh here it is... etc. Kudos to MCF, I played the demo and bought the CE. Glad you are back! Although, I would like the "super puzzles" to be a little bit more challenging. I made Sargent on most of the puzzles the first time through so I hope to play the game again and achieve Detective instead!
I recommend this game!

Great graphics, story & music, interesting HOPs, not too challenging puzzles and fun achievements. Best game I've played in a while.

I don't leave many reviews, but I had to for this game! I loved it! The story, the HO scenes (variety!), morphing objects well done and not a distraction, graphics, music and puzzles... all great. Nice achievements, again not a distraction but fun to get and makes you want to replay to get them all. I highly recommend this game.

I play enough of these types of HOGs to know the great ones from the "just okay" ones. And Weird Park, although it had moments of being a very good game, was just okay. Graphics were fine and the story & music were good but the rest left something to be desired. And the rest included the hidden object scenes (HOS) and the puzzles. All of the HOS were as simple as they come. All of the objects right out there in the open... definitely not junk piles, but not cleverly hidden either. And none of the scenes had any interaction within them. But my biggest gripe had to be the puzzles. They either required no thinking whatsoever or they were of the "slider / rotating" variety, which I despise!! And the majority were slider/rotating kind, so I did what I almost NEVER do... skip a lot of them. I didn't play the CE but it still logged in quite a few hours of play. This was a plus, but when you dread the next puzzle, because you know it'll be a rotating/shifting/sliding puzzle, I was just ready for it to end. More thought input in the hidden object scenes and the puzzles and this would have been a very good game.
I don't recommend this game.

Really enjoyed this game! Graphics were great and the music was the best ever. Really put an eerie and isolated mood on the game. There was a ton of backtracking, but I like games that aren't totally linear, so not a big deal.
I recommend this game!

Let me start off by saying... "WOW!" I play a lot of HOGs and I mostly like the ones with a scary theme, but 'Enigmatis: The Ghosts of Maple Creek' blows them ALL away!! I love all the Mystery Case Files games, Phantasmat, Shiver, Puppet Show games and Mystery Trackers games... but again, this game has moved up to number one! The artwork is phenomenal, the story is great, the hidden object scenes are clear and fun, the music is fantastic and addition of the "evidence wall" was a stroke of genius! And the puzzles were just hard enough. I like the mini game puzzles that aren't too complicated... AND no slider puzzles!!!
I recommend this game!

Why this game has been overlooked and isn't in the Top 10 is beyond me. I'm a huge fan of eerily based HOGs such as the Mystery Trackers, Shiver, MCF, etc... and this one is right up there if not better. The graphics are great, the gameplay is top-notch, the puzzles aren't overly complicated (and NO sliders), the music sets a perfect mood and the "Evidence Board" is a stroke of genius! Maybe the title threw people off or maybe they've been burned too much in the past with these types of HOGs but you owe it to yourselves to check out this game! Play the demo for a few minutes and you'll see for yourselves. And I see that the CE is on sale now for $13.99. I don't regret paying the higher price one bit. The bonus chapter is fun too and you get to replay the hidden object scenes over and over. I don't normally review games, this is my first, but I had to express my absolute love for this game. Can't wait for the next one!
I recommend this game!
